C4L Grassroots Activities Update

By Deb Wells of the Campaign for Liberty:

The Campaign for Liberty organization is just two months old and lots of work has already been done by our grassroots leaders. Following is an update on the latest.

As of today, we have interim state coordinators in 36 of 50 states and they are busily searching for interim coordinators for each congressional district and each county in their states. Many coordinators have attended weekly conference calls since kickoff to discuss goals and provide feedback on website functions.

i have been in the c4l since the day it started

and i think that things are much better than before, but still not where they need to be from a management standpoint.

Michael, I know that you and others have tried hard to point out issues to the C4L and it seems to have helped a lot.

I dont think that they "get it" yet, though.

If we can't get a successfully managed C4L, how on earth do we
ever expect that the people are going to let us run the country?

I can't believe the people

I can't believe the people here who foam at the mouth at the thought of campaign for liberty. You are a minority! Fight about the organizational skills of C4L when we actually win more than 1 seat in congress!

"We will never give up. We will never give in." - Dr. Ron Paul

I posted a few days ago about state coordinators having

been appointed and another poster said I must be mistaken. As I stated then, I will NOT be involving myself in CFL..for the reasons stated earlier.

I thought I understood you to be saying that local

organizations were being chartered and that you had a problem with (in your words) "local leaders"; not that state coordinators had been appointed. Those are two very different positions. I, of course, am aware that there are state coordinators in place.

Sorry for any confusion. The problem I see is that many local Meetups are presenting themselves as official affiliates of C4L, when they are only grassroots, independent groups. What is your contention with state coordinators?

When I leave something

because I disagree with the policy or the people, I leave them to their own devices and I don't talk to anyone about it, unless I am forced to.

Excellent news.

Thanks for the post. I have been having trouble logging in there and just sent a message seeking assistance...

Is everybody here a member of C4L?

If not, why not?

Thanks Michael.

Good news.

I sincerely hope

your organization has weeded out the egomaniacs I have encountered in PA who's self esteem took precedence over our goals.
