That we can effect change by voting for an incumbent or previously elected red or blue neoconservative.

There are 435 members of Congress

There are 100 members of the Senate

Plus a 1000 or so flunkees and sub-flunkees

Ron Paul (by our efforts) received approx 2% of the vote

The 3rd Party received approx 1% - 2% of the vote

And DailyPaul's goal is to vote-in more Paul-like politicians?

How many of our delegates sold out? How many of the Paul-Like politcians will sell out? You can't say and that's the flawed logic.

VOTE OUT THE INCUMBENT (like our DP brother Octobox suggests) -- No matter who it is -- VOTE THEM OUT

What does this do? The lobbyist will now have to by 535 votes and pray they are the highest bidder -- rather than buyout the 40 or so senior politicians and 60 or so special committee members.

Not only that but its a simple message and non-partisan -- in a short period of time there will be a no party system and we can focus on who the individual worked for in the private sector -- We wont elect the former Merck Chairman or the Chicago Economist. It wont matter as long as there are no senior politcians.

Form a Consumer Union (choose corporations and products to buy that have the greatest lobbying power and buy their competitors products). Then demand that both corporations lobby on behalf of our demands: 1) End the Fed, 2) Amend Constitution to remove Congress Power to Regulate any and all Markets including Currencies, 3) Amend Constitution so that Congress/Senate cannot increase taxes, 4) Amend Constitution so that Congress/Senate only have oversight of the Navy (Air and Amry oversight will shift to border and costal states - where they should be), and 5) Demand that all "War On's" be terminated and all resources brought under the control of the border and costal states (War on drugs, War on Terror, War on Poverty -- et al). They get a 1% sales tax to run the Navy and are paid by incentives.

States can handle: 1) Rape/Murder/Kidnapping Investigation, 2) Air and Army Guard (all non-navy military falls into these two camps all troops and equipment brought home), and 3) Privatize everything Else -- including the Roads. The state gets 3% sales tax for that.

An additional 3% sales tax is imposed until we pay off all our foreign debt -- then it is removed. All other taxes repealed.
