A Long Train of Abuses...

I was reading my pocket version of the Declaration while doing my business this morning. As I was going through it, I was saying to myself "yep, Bush has done that, and that, and that, etc." I was thinking of putting a post here on DP about the same exact thing. This is just too weird. Ron Paul is My President

2 Points:
1 - We are now a small fraction of the population and we need more people to join us.
2 - We need people to join us by arousing their understanding of LIBERTY, and that can ONLY be accomplished if WE OURSELVES UNDERSTAND WHAT LIBERTY IS, FIRST.

There are many posts about Naomi Wolf. Most of them leave me with a sense of the blind leading the blind. One believes that the difference between fascism and socialism is "compassion". Wrong, please learn the DEFINITIONS of the words you fling about. Tyranny has no compassion, pretense 'at the start' does not qualify.

I have met Naomi Wolf, and while she does not (yet) understand the critical important of liberty in commerce between consenting adults, she will not be convinced by those who themselves have only vague notions and sloppy definitions. One thing is certain, her passion and commitment to the part of Liberty that she does see, civil liberty, is totally palpable. I would love to spend a small amount of time with her, and get her some CLEAR notions of how Liberty applies to economics, because she is a powerful speaker and an extremely intelligent person, who could be a powerful spokesperson for Liberty.

Of all the people I've met who do not yet 'get it', the one I would put my money on to understand Liberty and do some good with it, would be Naomi Wolf.

If you reject, condemn, those who do not yet understand Liberty, but may well be on the path, they will not learn and therefore will not join us. History is full of such self-destructive efforts.

I urge everyone to learn the PRINCIPLES of Liberty, and this will never happen if we sit around with loose sloppy definitions, refuse to stive to correct these notions, and "educate" ourselves by watching you-tube videos on 9/11 presumably accoutered with tinfoil hats.

DEFINITIONS, PRINCIPLES, REASON. Without which you will not find the truth no matter the subject.

I want the viewer to take in what you are saying about the Communist Manifesto more easily. Please make the image of the CM clearer and linger longer over the image so that the viewer can see plainly what you are showing.

Ditto with the ABC News Inside Account of Eavedropping on Americans, Definition of Domestic Terrorists, and Contributions to Obama and McCain

I would suggest having background music without vocals over the speech beginning at 8:00. I want the listener to be inspired by background music; not distracted by background vocals. Why not let the speaker's face show on the screen, even if only briefly.

I agree with others' concerns about the choice of modern patriots (Ron Paul is a shoe-in, of course), but I suppose there is room for honest disagreement. What about Judge Napolitano, Peter Schiff, and Harry Browne, RIP? I acknowledge that this is minor, however, because the faces barely flash on the screen.

Thank you for creating such an emotionally charged video showcasing the times we are living in. Nicely done with the us vs. them as opposed to the dem vs repub. Most people still don't get that a class warfare is going on and the significance of what those in power are doing to limit our freedoms. This video is definitely one that will get some people thinking. Thank you too for stirring up some emotions in me. I've been slacking with the politics since the elections ended. Needed a swift kick to continue educating friends and family who now think they get to ignore the government for a few years now that we have 'change'. 70% on that checklist is hard to read. Our freedom clock is ticking. We all have work to do if we want to save this country.

This is a great video.. we need more of this but with a bit more punch.. we need to better educate. Unfortunately most people have heard of Jefferson but don't even know what he stood for... what a damned shame.

Our republic is finished unless we make a united front. There are more Ron Paul libertarian minded people out there today than I ever thought before.

Since I put on my campaign for liberty t-shirt, people are asking about what it means. They are asking well, don't we already have liberty? The message is that we need to preserve what is left and educate about how we are on the brink of a military controlled society. Stuff that most people think only kooks talk about is right here.

God bless you guys for moving forward this message. It's changed my life and attitudes about everything.

Having read through some of the earlier comments, I must say this. I like someone that can stand on her own, and keep a level head, when in battle. Who sees opportunity where others see only problems.And, does not presume that anyone, who is not already an ally, can only be an enemy.

and I strongly disagree with your criticism of her. She may not agree with everything I say and stand for, but she feels so strongly about very important issues and is helping to wake up others to the problem.

We really, really need her on our side. And we need her to continue to be an outspoken opponent of facism.

If we can wake people up to the danger of facism, with Naomi's help, it becomes much easier to then convert them to liberty loving individuals.

All it takes is an open and mind and a few persuasive ideas. Really, if she can wake people up to the danger of facism, that is 90% of the work right there.

Here's the other 10%, if you're interested: it is a fine line between Facism and Socialism. The only difference is compassion and empathy of the leader of the movement, evil or benevolent. And if you set up a Socialist system, eventually you will get an evil dictator and then to get them out you have to have a full blown, bloody revolution.

A better system of government is distributed power between the federal government and the states, between legislature, executive, and courts. Like what our constitution describes.

Both Ventura and Wolf are waking up to the liberty and constitution movement, Jessy does not want boarders which gives up sovereignty. Although Naomi is open, and admits she has a lot to learn especially from Lew Rockwell. That was a good interview.
Jefferson does speak about democracy, but warns uncontrolled it will be our undoing. Sound familiar?

Thank you to the large majority of the posters here on the ‘DailyPaul’; I am seriously humbled by all your warm words both here, via email, and on YouTube.

It took me quite a while to assemble this, but it just seemed so plain to me that the abuses suffered then are relevant today. As Jefferson warned, the natural tendency is for government to gain and for liberty to yield.

Thus, we have awoke to find the iron fist of tyranny beating us down at an ever-increasing rate. However, it is my estimation that all is not lost; we can indeed save this Republic before the Plutocrats wholly extinguish it from this Earth,

I look forward to participating here, as we work towards a tenable strategy to reclaim our inherent liberties.

Talk about ironic!!!!! You say Naomi is "not on our side" as if this is some college football game. You knuckleheads, ...the FACT that there ARE sides is the problem. Stop for just a moment and look at the big picture. The word democracy wasn't used by our founding fathers and we are still a republic as far as I know.
Alli, I've hated most of the comments you have posted because I considered you a long winded, over educated nut. But after watching that little presentation, I have changed my mind. I was almost to tears thinking how wonderful it must have been in those days to be on the cusp of something so spectacular that it even gave our founding fathers goosebumps. What movie was that?
We are now at the same crossroads that they were and the last thing we need is disention in the troops.
I hate the fact that obama has been able to circumvent every single issue that has been put before him..little things like..a birth cert. but it looks as if the ptb want him in there. Do any of you REALLY think that our opinions are going to change a thing? Do you really think your venting on the dp page is gonna do anything to change things?
It is going to take a revolution before we get this gov't out of power. I don't mean a race war.
