Mail your representatives and the president and the supreme court and the fed governors, HELL----anyone in any kind of power needs to start recieving lots of old shoes!!
We can literally----"Give WASHINGTON the BOOT"
REMEMBER when we were stuggling with what to mail the traitors that would really express our feelings?? Well, we can thank that journalist today for a symbol that is certainly easy enough to figure out.

I thought the same thing when I saw it....
...and if I thought it would ever see the light of day, I'd be all for it.
Unfortunately, the complicit press would never report it and the sheep would never hear.
I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...

Shoe = Sabot as in
sabotage or saboteur...
Sabotage is a term of French origin coined during the railway strike of 1910, when workers destroyed the wooden shoes, or sabots, that held rails in place, thus impeding the morning commute.[citation needed] An alternate definition claims the word to be older by almost a century, the times of Industrial Revolution. It is said that powered looms could be damaged by angry or disgruntled workers throwing their wooden shoes or clogs (known in French as sabots, hence the term Sabotage) into the machinery, effectively clogging the machinery. This is often referenced as one of the first inklings of the Luddite Movement. However, this etymology is highly suspect and no wooden shoe sabotage is known to have been reported from the time of the word's origin. [1] Others contend that the word comes from the slang name for people living in rural areas who wore wooden shoes after city dwellers had begun wearing leather shoes; when employers wanted strikebreakers they would import 'sabots'/rural workers to replace the strikers. Not used to machine-driven labor the 'sabots' worked poorly and slowly. The strikers would be called back to work (with demands won) and, could win demands on the job by working like their country cousins - the sabots. Thus 'sabotage'.

Oh Yes, Indeed, Let Us All Give Them a Symbolic Boot!
To All,
This gesture gives us the nugget of what we need to do to peaceably to demonstrate our disgust. Instead of active action, we need to do so passively. What do you think of simply taking our shoes and lining them up in places that make an obvious and peaceful statement? Perhaps we could even put make posters of boots. It is such a simple, yet powerful symbol, I think it is a wonderful idea. I love the picture of boots carefully placed upon each step of each place where they torture our liberties and steal our freedoms. I'm ready to sacrifice a pair of my shoes right now!
Best Wishes,
Betty

Maybe Mission Iraqi freedom is working?
If someone here threw a shoe at the president they would be tazed or shot, locked up indefinately without legal representation and labeled a terrorist or charged with attempted capital murder. How Ironic how lightly this was taken. Do any of you find this strange? The consequences of that kind of action towards the president here would be very different, much more severe. I'd love to try it and find out lol. Use this case as an example in my defense (if they would let me have a defense) We should give the reporter a medal or something. Some show of support. A gold or lead shoe an some pitching lessons and another chance at it. That was awsome. Too bad he missed :( here in the US I could probably get in trouble for this comment.
YES----We HAVE to mail the reporter a "Golden Shoe"
.....
Very funny!
A shoe drive!
Then dump them all on the Capitol lawn.

BUMP!
But instead of mailing the boots, couldn't we just chuck 'em at 'em?!
They would probably say we were mailing them anthrax/bomb boots and attack one of our civil liberties in the process...
I didn't figure most of us were within "chucking" distance
The method of delivery is completely up to your own discretion.
