I don't think this issue is going to hold up.
We haven't seen any evidence that he was not born in America.. personally Ron Paul is my president so I care little about this imposter Obama that you speak of.

America No Longer Follows The Constitution.
Dr. Ritze is to be commended for his efforts with the Obama case, and all of the others should be praised also.
We are in trouble as a nation when the Constitution, like the Bible, is used by our elected officials to only take the oath of office, but not to subsequently follow. We are in trouble as a nation when we must pray to the Almighty for Devine intervention for a self-evident, clearly worded Constitutional issue that should not require God's providence to be manifest. This, as well as other issues, is equivalent to someone waiting for a miracle to happen when the miracle was already given and is right in front of them. If you have appendicitis, an appendectomy is the miracle; cannot see due to cataracts.....there are 1000s of miracle surgeries everyday for this. No Devine interventions for spontaneous cures are needed.
Like a baseball game, the Obama BC case is in the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs remaining in the game. That is when people start hoping for miracles to happen. In this case, improper vetting should have disqualified this player and the game should not have been permitted to even start. America no longer follows the Constitution, so what is the big deal here. If 9 out of 10 people in this country did not want the Bailout Bill to be passed, then that bill should have never seen the light of day. America no longer follows the Constitution. If America did, imagine what our country would be like today. I need a miracle from God to conceive of that reality.

THINK: Nuclear Football
This is an issue about an illegal alien having one hand on the nuclear football and the other commanding the most powerful military force on the planet. Americans presumed they elected a person to represent them. If this illegal alien is not an American representing American ideals (which we all know he is not) then who and what will he be representing? Commion sense says the POTUS must be a known quantity regardless of the brain-dead who may or may not have voted for the guy - vote/election fraud being what it is in our 'exemplary democracy'.
Our powerful military is not enough for this crazy. He already said he would develop an internal military force - for what purpose and against whom will it be deployed? Why? We all know every dictator when assuming office creates an internal military force to IMPOSE HIS WILL and its aberrations upon those he wishes to dominate. Stalin did it = 30 million dead. Hitler did it = 6-20 million dead. Pol Pot did it (2 million dead) as did Edi Amin (sp?) (how many dead?).
It is axiomatic that ideals can hold a person on a given or defined course. A man with no known ideals is an unknown quantity and this particular man given his known past actions is a current and direct threat to any and every acknowledged American institution - even should he identify himself by whatever means. This man by his own actions shows he does not love America or the American ideal. What ideal does he love? Any at all?
Either the Constitution is the law of the land or it is not. If this aberrant personality and illegal alien is sworn in as POTUS then we know the current government does not acknowledge the Constitution as the law. It will have been 100% overthrown at that moment. Can a country survive without foundational law? We will be anarchy (whim and action of the powerful) at that moment and God help us all.
I think we know this NOW.

The present regime ignores the will of the senate, congress, and the people. They hold sessions late at night to pass resolutions giving more dictatorial powers to their regime. What we fear has arrived.
Ron Paul needs to stay with the issues he has
chosen and not attach himself to this issue. He has the wisdom to side step the birth certificate issue and conspiracy issues as well. Others will continue to pursue these issues, as they should.

I find this suggestion, sort of sad, Ron Paul has proven by his own initative and action to be a man quite capable of steering his own Constitutional compass. A feet that can only be earned by looking at the foundational grounds and merits of every Constitutional issue... How does one navigate the ocean when they only look for a "certified" offical map of lakes and steams?

Though I'd love to see a Supreme Court ruling on the meaning of
the 'natural born' clause... I have to say, that I hope Paul steers clear of this one. It's not going help move the small government cause forward. Courting that sort of controversy would be an ill advised move at this juncture.
If/when the Democrats' economic policy falls apart Paul needs to be ready to step up to the plate and offer a real solution to our economic mess. If he wastes his political capital calling attention to this issue then he might be unable to seize that moment when it arrives.

This issue is like quicksand that would take too much time and energy, and may lead nowhere. I think Ron Paul is too wise to get involved in this side issue.

Oh People, There appears to be no understanding what this issue really is. This was an issue of Obama's eligibility way before the election. It isn't a racial problem, it isn't a Republican or Democrat issue. This is a consitutional issue.
To call people nut jobs and all the other names inmature and shows your own lack of information. I understand that it has probably been a long time since you learned what the eligibility criteria was for the President of the US. There are 3 requirements...just 3. The issue that is of concern is if Obama is a "natural born" citizen. That is the most important requirement. The President and VP must be natural born citizens under the Constitution. There is no other job in the US that has this requirement.
The term "natural born citizen" refers to a status you must attain at the time you are "born". If you aren't a natural born citizen at birth, you'll never be one.
Obama has on his web site, that he was born in Hawaii, his mother was an American citizen, and his father was from Kenya (British subject). Natural Born citizen requires that he be born on US soil. He was. Unfortunately, his lineage follows his father's. So Obama really had duel citizenship. His citizenship would come under the 14th Amendment. The 14th Amendment confers the status of "Citizen" not "Natural born citizen."
If citizenship is codified in the Code of Federal Regulations, then a person is NOT a “natural born citizen.” Barack Obama’s citizenship is codified in the Code of Federal Regulations. Therefore, Barack Obama is not a “natural born citizen,” because it came through Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4. If one's citizenship is the result of a LAW, then they are not a Natural Born citizen.
Obama knows the requirement, yet he ran for office anyway. He taught constitutional law. How dare he do this to the American public? I have seen the legal document he signed in AZ stating he was a natural born citizen and that he was qualified under the constitution. He lied. He signed it knowing that it was a lie.
No one has seen his passport, or any other records, they are all hidden. But you see, it still makes no difference. Just from his web site the answers are there.
If he takes the oath of office, he is a usurper. Anything he signs i.e., bills, treaties, laws are illegal.. all null and void. The military doesn't have to do anything he says nor do citizens. Anyone he appoints to office, all their documents are null and void also. They have no power. Because he isn't really the president, he can't be impeached either. So this is the real issue, our Constitution.
Our enemies are watching very closely. It was written about in Russia's newspaper, PRAVDA. This constitutional issue is not being reported correctly in the USA, instead it is totally wrong and misconstrued. Yes, Obama is a citizen, but not a natural born citizen. The only conspiracy is Obama himself. He is pulling the wool over the USA. Below is an article written by a constitutional attorney about the consequences of Obama being in office as a usurper. Do take the time to read it so that you really understand what will happen if he becomes a usurper. The Russian article is more correct than any of the American articles on the subject. They do understand and will take advantage of a usurper in office. He will be a powerless leader. Is that what we want?
By the way, no one else has questioned Obama, not the DNC, not Hillary, NO ONE has verified that he is a natural born citizen. NO ONE. It is up to the Secretaries of State, and they should have verified his eligibility before his name went on the ballot..they didn't. Yet the SOS and electors took an oath to uphold the Constitution before they send their electoral votes to the Electoral College.
There are 19 lawsuits in 12 states, 3 pending in the US Supreme Ct.and more making their way through the state court systems. All for the same purpose. Also, there is another case in the Supreme Ct. on the docket for tomorrow, it is up for discussion. So no, it isn't over yet. And the other cases weren't thrown out for lack of merit, they were for no standing..which sends them up to another court. There are two petitions and over 250,000 people signed them. Then after signing, letters were sent to their Senators and Representatives.
He thinks we are stupid, and everyone has joined his bandwagon saying we're right wing nut jobs etc., because they don't know the definition of natural born...and that there are 3 categories of citizens: Natural born; Naturalized; and just plain citizen. (By the way, McCain wasn't eligible either as he got his citizenship through a law). These suits were started way before the election, so that this wouldn't happen. Obama has thumbed his nose at the US Constitution, and expects the citizens to do it too. The Constitution is the law of the land. If McCain had won, the same thing would be happening.
I am sane, smart, and I do know the consequences of having Obama in office as a usurper. Now you do too. Does this sound like a ridiculous claim now?

This is what irritates everyone who is aware of the truth of the issue:
Obama has thumbed his nose at the US Constitution, and expects the citizens to do it too.
And I guess there are lots of people willing to ignore the law and the constitution. They simply do not care or are too unaware.
I still don't get it.
Why does his lineage follow his father's?? No one has yet to answer that for me. If he was born on US soil and his mother is a citizen, what does it matter where the sperm came from?
Another flawed argument: If he is sworn in as President, then the military officers have to obey his orders, since he is the Commander in Chief - especially once certified by the House. Any resistance to those orders, justified or not, would be considered treason or mutiny by the UCMJ.
Something else: If the election commissions and Secretaries of States certified his nomination, then it is their fault and all the Obama lawyers have to do is claim their nomination was certified and thus validated by these actions.

Plus: Let's say this happens and the electors can't vote him in. After two weeks or more of incredibly violent riots, what happens? Biden? McCain? The Democratically controlled House elects Biden? Lineage is irrelevant for natural-born status
As I explained months ago regarding McCain (check the archives here), citizenship by bloodline, aka "jus sanguinis" has no bearing in US Law except through legislation. All citizenship by legislation is known as "lex soli", and is a naturalization status. Natural born citizenship is based on geography, known as "jus soli", which is different from lex soli.
So any lineage arguments are naturalization arguments, not natural-born arguments.
Joints Chiefs are not obligated to obey orders from someone who is not legally NCA, so treason doesn't apply.
Secretaries of State not checking the info means they aren't doing their job. We already know that's true anyway because TX certified both Obama and McCain for the ballot after the due date, meaning they were on there illegally, and the TX SC wussed out on the lawsuit over it.
If Obama is disqualified, Biden becomes President per Section 3 of the Twentieth Amendment.
