WASHINGTON — Just a month after President-elect Barack Obama takes office, he must tell the Supreme Court where he stands on one of the most aggressive legal claims made by the Bush administration — that the president may order the military to seize legal residents of the United States and hold them indefinitely without charging them with a crime.

“If they adopt the Bush administration position, or some version of it,” said Brandt Goldstein, a professor at New York Law School, “it is going to be a moment of profound disappointment for everyone in the legal community and Americans generally who believe that the Bush administration has tried to turn the presidency into a monarchy.”

The new Solicitor General will make the decision. The President will say I relied on the wisdom and legal interpretation of the Injustice Department. When the Supreme Court held that the Constitution's exclusive powers had within them "implied powers", that was the end of Constitutional government. Repeal the implied powers doctrine and you are back to the Constitution. Anything beyond the 17 express powers is invalid. That includes the Fed and the income tax. You got your country back again. Simple. Hah, hah.

Sure, he's the "created," undocumented (s)elected leader. He will do as he is told, flip-flops, backbends, change colors as suits (pun intended), the super-hero chameleon of the ones in shadow. He is, imo, a fraud/psychopath. Psychopaths are very good at "change." The fact that he even thinks he is qualified to lead this great country is an amazement to me.
