Lunar New Year is coming. I've heard we're entering a Year of the Rat. Apropos to Kissinger and his New World Order. In the 4th Reich, every year will be a Rat Year.
But Happy New Year...

I started watching the hour plus propaganda show you recommended. I've heard all of that before, and it's beyond twisted. I'm quite aware of the Jews in Israel who are against the very existence of a Jewish state. It's somewhat pathetic, and more than a little reminiscent of the Americans who were pro-Communist before the fall of the Soviet Union.
When I see people slamming Israel for doing what they would do themselves, and defending mad aggressors like the Arabs, and sympathizing with fifth columnists like the "peace lobby" in Israel (which is nothing at all like the supporters of peace here in the US), I can only conclude that there's more to the criticisms of Israel than meets the eye.
Israel could have wiped the Arabs out a long time ago if that was what Israel was about. While the Arabs have tried time and again to wipe Israel off the map.

Dr. Paul's position on Israel and other mideast countries has been consistent and correct for as long as I can remember. He didn't just start making these comments. "...foreign entanglements with none" has long been his mantra. We simply do not need to be involved in other countries affairs. We can't afford it and the real American people don't want it. We have our own messes to clean up.

I agree that we should stay out of it..
However, it wasn't pre-emptive, nor was this really a "surprise attack"..I mean, you launch dozens of rockets at a country..and they stomp you..it's not really a "surprise"..
BTW, this all about Hamas not recognizing Israel's "right to exist." It's a violent response to a purely rhetorical position by Hamas. Hamas is the democratically elected government for the Palestinian territories. They have been viciously attacked since their election merely because they won't say they accept Israel's presence in the region.
Submitted by starlisa (not verified) on Mon, 01/05/2009 - 12:05.
The very day that Israel expelled 9000 of its own innocent men, women, and children, some of whom had been living there for over 25 years, from their homes in the Gaza Strip, the Arabs (even before Hamas took over) went in, destroyed the synagogues that had been left behind, and began using the ruins of the Jewish towns as a launching ground for missiles into Israel.
Everyone who had warned that this would happen had been branded "an enemy of peace". But they were right.
For over 2 years, the Arabs of Gaza have been launching rockets on almost a daily basis into Jewish towns. They have not targeted military installations and weapons caches the way Israel is doing right now; no, they targeted grade schools.
Israel has shown almost unnatural patience. They were hoping that a blockade would suffice to stop the violence. It hasn't. And so they're having to stop it by other means. If you tell me you wouldn't do exactly the same thing, I won't believe you. Neither will anyone else.

This happened while there were israeli settlements in GAZA:
" Israelis in Gaza have no restrictions on water consumption. Rather, their consumption is subsidized, encourgaing overuse and misuse (Isaac 1997). They have also been favored through selective appropriation of agricultural land having the best groundwater quantity and quality, and uneven pricing schemes. Gaza Palestinians pay up to $1.20/cubic meter while Israeli settlers only pay $0.10/cubic meter for water. Elmusa (1994) states that "relative to per capita income, Palestinians pay as much as twenty times what Israeli settlers pay for water."
"and began using the ruins of the Jewish towns as a launching ground for missiles into Israel."
WRONG AGAIN:
Nearly ALL settlements (with green lanes and wellfilled swimming pools!) were locared in the southwest along the coast!
the launching site for this selfmade "fire-crackers are located mainly in the northeast!

he chides Israel for what they are doing and then says we should not chose sides and stay out of it? that makes no sense...i agree we ought to stay out of it with our $, but he himself asked for "letters of marque" to go after the criminal of 9/11 in other countries, and also stated to John Stosser that if Montana was attacked he would declare war. if he is really going to stay out of it, then he shouldn't chide Israel or Gaza, or defend Israel or Gaza...isn't that true?

I'm sorry, but claiming that Israel went into Gaza because of something that "might happen" is simply untrue. And Dr. Paul is a member of Congress, and has access to the facts, so I can't understand why he would say such a thing. It's hard not to see him on the side of Hamas in this case when he says something so obviously unfair and unbalanced.
I've defended Dr. Paul's record on Israel. He opposed the censure motion when Israel destroyed the Iraqi nuclear reactor. He wants to cut all aid both to Israel and the Arabs. I applaud him for both of these positions. But this video is shameful.

I think; however, that it would be appropriate if we keep giving money to Israel and everyone else so that we can expedite the destruction of the fiat monetary system that we are currently saddled with. Once the system takes the inevitable BIG hit, we can not only restore a proper currency but, get on with restoring our country and our constitution and personal liberties. (Oh, and while we're at it, we can try those who have destroyed our country for treason and mete out the proper punishment). Amen?

While much of what is being stated on this thread is true, much is unfounded. For example, when I state a belief such as America is definitely under zionist influence I can back that statement up with facts that support such a claim. When someone states that Israel was responsible for 9/11 or that 2/3 of congress are jews, it just makes us all look like crackpots especially when the supplied evidence is clearly unsubstantiated.
Everyone here is obviously free to state whatever they want, but please, there are others not in the movement who read this. We are looking to open their eyes to the truth, not give them fodder to attack us or dismiss us a hodgepodge of disenfranchised loons.
I cannot recall which debate it was, but when one of the Fox news moderators asked Ron Paul about the "9/11 truthers" and whether or not he agreed with them, Dr. Paul rebutted with something to the effect of "if they truly cared about me they would stop."

Do not tell me I am on the "wrong side"...the only side to this is truth and a moral side and that being discerned through research readily available. Your sick signature line tells me all I need to know about your mindset. You have only been here a short time as of today and I see you refuse to look at the responses and links provided to you. Most here understand that to be enlightened about the situation does not make you an anti-semite or anti Israel or on the "wrong side" we recognize it is the the puppet governments of the NWO and not the people themsleves on either "side" that are responsible for perpetuating the atrocities of war crimes. As far as me needing to learn more ...why dont you take your own advice? I have learned enough to recognize a propaganda disinfo shill...so I waste no further time or emotion towards your agenda here.

We are already in it

Completely agree
Let other countries solve their own problems. Get rid of all foreign aid. If people want to donate to another country to help them out, let them spend their own money. Don't steal it from me and give it to someone I despise.
I agree that we should stay
I agree that we should stay out of it..
However, it wasn't pre-emptive, nor was this really a "surprise attack"..I mean, you launch dozens of rockets at a country..and they stomp you..it's not really a "surprise"..
Hama's actions are self defense
Israel has been blockading Gaza for many months now. Blockading a country or region is an act of war. This is self defense by Hamas.
http://www.ikhwanweb.com/Article.asp?ID=18936&LevelID=1&Sect...
Hamas' actions are *not* self-defense

9000 innocent Israelis?
From: http://www.american.edu/TED/ice/GAZA.HTM
Your quote:
"and began using the ruins of the Jewish towns as a launching ground for missiles into Israel."
WRONG AGAIN:
Nearly ALL settlements (with green lanes and wellfilled swimming pools!) were locared in the southwest along the coast!
the launching site for this selfmade "fire-crackers are located mainly in the northeast!

Ron Paul is starting to bother me somewhat...
he chides Israel for what they are doing and then says we should not chose sides and stay out of it? that makes no sense...i agree we ought to stay out of it with our $, but he himself asked for "letters of marque" to go after the criminal of 9/11 in other countries, and also stated to John Stosser that if Montana was attacked he would declare war. if he is really going to stay out of it, then he shouldn't chide Israel or Gaza, or defend Israel or Gaza...isn't that true?
2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
He isn't 'chiding' anyone
...can you point out where exactly he condemns the actions of Israel? All I see is him condemning the same thing he's condemned for the last couple decades - our nation's foreign policy of intervention.
I fail to understand your
I fail to understand your point. So if Montana was attacked we shouldn't declare war? Please elaborate.

...no, if Montana was attacked RP said we should declare war against the attackers if it is a country behind it.

I think alot of you are
I think alot of you are reading into Dr. Pauls words that he is on the side of Hamas,,, I do not think he is! neither is he on the side of Isreal.. he says we should keep our noses out of it! PERIOD! no money, no arms to either side! this is a struggle that has been going on for more then thousands of years! None of us like to see people killed or mamed.. but Dr, Paul is not taking any side!

Unfortunately only a handful of us seem to maintain balance.
I believe in neutrality and ending the empire. Not taking emotional sides in other nations' wars.
Both sides have blown up many innocent noncombatants. So did the US, in Iraq. It's called "war". We should not be emotionally involved.

Dr. Paul is wrong in this case

Dr. Paul is right on...
Amen?
A good article on Israel's insane policies
"Actions based on irrational premises inevitably fail in their purposes--they fail, and if the premises don't change, then the actions are inevitably repeated, in forms which are more and more grotesque. It is unbearable to think that the new American administration would begin with more American dollars being poured into what is unjustifiable."

Please Please Please
Please think before you post.
