Ron Paul Freeway Blogging: Take Action *update: date chosen*
I was thinking: what if a bunch of Ron Paul supporters and/or liberty-oriented citizens, on certain dates, all freeway blogged with slogans about peace, freedom, or Ron Paul? (For those of you who don't know what freeway blogging is, it is putting up signs on the freeway or other areas of high traffic to get a message out; it's not vandalism, it's freedom of speech) We could pick a few dates, make some youtube videos explaining it, and all go crazy posting signs on the chosen days.
What do you think?
I picked some dates that might be good suggestions. We wouldn't do all of them, just a few:
January 19: Martin Luther King Day
January 20: Inauguration Day
February 1: National Freedom Day
February 16: Presidents Day
May 25: Memorial Day
June 14: Flag Day
July 4: Independence Day
September 7: Labor Day
September 11: anniversary of 9/11
October 12: Columbus Day
November 11: Veterans' Day
Is it a good idea? Bad idea? And which dates would you choose?

Do you have possible slogan suggestions? However, if we are doing it for the inauguration, we should probably have messages related to it.
So far, this is what has been suggested:
- End the Fed
- Ron Paul was Right
- No Real ID OR No National ID
Could anyone make a youtube video about this or know someone that can? Any other ways to publicize it?
And how many people are willing to do this?

END THE FED Fridays.
I would like to introduce End The Fed Fridays, and ask you to spread the word. I would like for each of you to go out and do something that day to promote ending the federal reserve. Wave signs, stick stickers, post flyers, other creative signage, whatever. Go talk to elected officials, lets just make everyone take notice. Not this invisible army anymore!
If we all do it on the same day, it is more noticable. I cant think of a better way to organize millions of people besides assigning it a day, so therefore End the Fed Fridays!
Everyone do their part, and get someone else to do things on friday too.

I would suggest making a separate post about this, it seems like a great idea (maybe for once a month). Then we could plan something like: next Friday make sure every senator gets a letter about ending the fed, etc.

Highway blogging would be great for January 20, it might help draw more attention to YAL's event on college campuses.

A bunch of us did an overpass campaign in Minneapolis during the RNC and Rally for the Republic. This is a great idea. We need to re-awaken the spirit we had last year!

I'm a big fan of the garage
I'm a big fan of the garage sale sign effect. Just a few hours of work by a handful of people (in my case, often just me and one loyal buddy) can convert into being the talk of the town.
When the first bailout was going through, I had all sorts of "Call your Congressman" "Bailout People, Not Banks" etc... If enough people could get involved, we could get some press and have a rather worthwhile effect. It lets other people know that they are not the only ones having these thoughts and should inspire courage.
I also like printing out little flyers that I can cut up and "drop off" in the aisles of my local walmarts and other high traffic areas. These are nice because people will stumble upon them and learn something. I always make sure there are links to either CampaignforLiberty or the DailyPaul (In October, it was VoterBomb of course!).
I think this sort of guerilla marketing is something that can grow and be quite influential in the coming months. The flyers take no time and are small enough to conveniently set on any shelf while you're doing your shopping. A single patriot can reach a lot of people. Now there's an ARMY of ONE!

Yeah I just lay out the info on photoshop, but you could really use any program you want. There is always new material to put on the flyers, I usually just take a look for some of the more informative DailyPaul posts or links.
I do black and white usually (Although I couldnt resist getting some of those McCain/Paul/ War/Peace posters printed up at the local print shop in all their colorful glory). This makes it cheap and easy to photocopy!

We are not controlled by anyone and we could reach tens of millions of people daily. I did a proposal for a comapny once and we estimated very very very conservatively that for under $14,000,000.00 we could reach 2/3 of the population every single day.

Are any of you handing
out copies of HR 2755 and getting signatures on the petitions ? I go to every gun show I can and hand out flyers and talk to people about the FED and Give them copies of Ron Pauls bill to end the fed and sign the petition. he needs those signatures. He has no cosponser for the bill. You do know about this don't you? Go to endthefed.us. At least i think thats where you can print out coppies of the bill and the petitions an other hand outs. It's been a while since I made a bunch of it up. It is late ( or should I say early) I will post info tommorrow. just something to go along with this great Idea. We do really need to get rolling again. And those of you who are still faced with real ID need to get busy too. Off to bed with me. talk to you all tommorrow ~peace
