Daily Paul, Campaign for Liberty, Rush Limbaugh Web Site Traffic
This is rather interesting.
Out of curiosity, I checked web site traffic logged by Alexa.com, and discovered that Rush Limbaugh's web traffic has dropped considerably in the past few months whereas both the Daily Paul and Campaign for Liberty web sites have increased. All three are now showing roughly the same volume of traffic.

I suggest that since the last campaign is over
that they don't need Rush anymore.
If they ever took him off the air how would the poor guy afford oxycontins?
Maybe he could raise the money somehow. That's it! A Rush barbituate money bomb!
Yay!
Actually
The strange thing is despite being a republican my whole life, I never listened to limbaugh until AFTER the election. I just never touched the AM dial (and I didn't listen to much radio anyways). And... I found out that he's not as bad as people made him out to be.
He's annoying sometimes, sounding like a petulant little kid, but from time to time, he makes good points, and I think what people really like about him is that he has the balls to say things how he sees things, without having a societal "filter".
So, don't blame him for labeling people against the Fed as kooks, that's how he really feels, he just doesn't *understand* that the Fed is bad.
Doesn't understand?
Or is he just one of their puppets?
Is it possible that he ever understands? Somehow, I doubt it. I think he knows where his bread is buttered.
well, the election is over
well, the election is over now.... more people probably listen to him when there's more political activity.... still, it is interesting he's on a decline and we're on a rise, and we're all about equal.
I was listening to rushs
I was listeniing to rushs show sometime last month and they were saying that his website had been "accidentally" deleted by some human error. i guess its up and running again.
wow! that's terrific!
does this mean that people actually ARE waking up???
mebbe rush limbaugh has reached the tipping point...
by the same token, mises is right up there too:

Ron Paul is my President
I was once a big fan of his
I used to listen to the show everyday, and believed everything he said. He says alot of things that are valid, however; if you try to talk about the fed and banksters or the "big money guys" as he calls it, he calls you a "kook" or long haired maggot infested dope smoker. He actually had me believing these people were kooks, until this movement here started, and after seeing all the youtube videos, reading all these books recommended by people on sites like this, and falling into the rabbit hole, I now know the truth, and the truth has set me free.

Limbaugh's a hypocrite and a
Limbaugh's a hypocrite and a bum!
His cousin Billo is shutting down his radio show too..he says it's just too tough juggling his show and the radio show..but I think people are waking up....man if we could get a liberty radio show...how nice would that be?...
They are riding our coat tails
Especially the bailout. The outrage came from us just as much as his crowd.
They shows we as an equal online force as he is. We need that other platform, radio or TV to take it to the next level.
I was just yesterday asked to help make signs for
limbaugh. I thought it was a strange request from a fellow liberty activist. I've not heard that guy in at least 10 years. I refused but asked why, the answer was to start the interest in the public 'somewhere'.... my response was, if you start anywhere at least start w/the truth.
What am I missing w/limbaugh.... is he still the same old windbag ?
Make signs for Limbaugh?
That is ridiculous.
Why doesn't he just pay people, the way the Republicans paid people to make home-made looking signs for the RNC? We weren't allowed to bring our own signs in, but they were happy to hand out signs (for McCain, of course) that *looked* home made.
I don't think you're missing anything about Limbaugh. His time has come and gone.
We were part of an expensive, elaborate filming
of a commercial for the Republican Party! ( and we not only didn't get paid, but we paid all our own expenses!)
Some of my Republican friends said I must have been 'thrilled' to be there for the RNC!
I had strong emotions about it--but 'thrilled' was not what I felt!
Count me as one of those
Count me as one of those crossovers - I used to listen to Limbaugh on a pretty regular basis.

I'm still a subscriber to his site. Haven't downloaded any podcasts since around the time the primaries started though. Good entertainment and can even learn a few things (like at newsbusters.org sometimes). I do see him as a "Mr. Charrington" (see 1984) type character.
Also am subscribed to Alex Jones and Coast 2 Coast and listen to their pods while driving or after I put the kids to bed.
