The piece titled "Stimulating Our Way to Rock Bottom" was posted today on RCP in their opinion section.
The more people who go read this at RCP the more likely they post more of this articles, so !! DIGG IT!!

I checked all the tabs for top diggs and the texas straight talk doesn't even come up!!!

I know why
I recently was educated a little about the process by a comment over there. I have zero computer technical skills so will explain it in my terms.
It has to do with the number of diggs that come from a certain link. Meaning if 100 people digg it because they click on the DIGG IT at the top of here, then it counts less.
So best to post it on as many Paul friendly sites as possible. That creates more interest in the computers mind, thinking multiple sites are bringing in people to digg the article. That makes it more likely to get on upcoming and all that.
Also if I shout it to 400 friends and they all digg it, it counts less if I were to shout it to 100 and they shout it to their friends who in turn digg it.

I do believe
that there is a bubble no one is talking about. I call it the employment bubble. With all our technological advances in the last few decades we should be working less. Americans do not need jobs, we need food and shelter. The Government through taxes have taken control ( stolen) both of these, forcing the need for constant work. If Americans are not working we tend to think, and that is not a good idea for those who want control. Keep Americans rowing the boat so they don't have time to rock it. Even if our oars are not in the water. I will try to separately post my thoughts on this topic. to get responses from the smartest debaters around. Daily Paulers.

I'm afraid I disagree. All being out of work ever did for the russians was give them a few good chess players. Maybe your right. I hope so but I don't believe that a mass american joblessness will "enlighten" anyone any more than the great depression did.

I've read that primitive
I've read that primitive societies work less than 3 hours per day to meet all their needs of survival. The rest is for relaxation and social activities. The 8 hour day 5 day work week was totally arbitrary and is not a great set up today with traffic problems and 2 parent working families.
What constitutes "survival?"
Sure, if you want to have the same level of amenities as a primitive you can get by on 3 hours of work a day too. It's your choice.

After the 8 hour work day, 2 hours to commute, and another hour to get ready for work, our society has no time to socialize. The result is that we're all isolated from one another, which makes us afraid of one another.
Everything is about "productivity" and "making money," which really just means chasing after Federal Reserve Notes. We're hamster men on hamster wheels.
