Gaza doctors detail burns to entire victims' bodies from chemical that is forbidden to be used as a weapon.
Video showing injuries consistent with the use of white phosphorus shells has been filmed inside hospitals treating Palestinian wounded in Gaza City.
Contact with the shell remnants causes severe burns, sometimes burning the skin to the bone, consistent with descriptions by Ahmed Almi, an Egyptian doctor at the al-Nasser hospital in Khan Younis.
Almi said the entire body of one victim was burned within an hour. It was the first time he had seen the effects of what he called a "chemical weapon".
The Israeli military has denied using white phosphorus during the assault on Gaza, but aid agencies say they have no doubt it has been used.
"It is an absolute certainty," said Marc Garlasco, a senior military analyst at Human Rights Watch. He had seen Israeli artillery fire white phosphorus shells at Gaza City, Garlasco said.
The shells burst in the air, billowing white smoke before dropping the phosphorus shell.
Garlasco said each shell contains more than 100 incendiary rounds, which ignite and pump out smoke for about 10 minutes.
Severe respiratory problems can result in anyone exposed to the smoke and burning chemical particles that rain down over an area the size of a football pitch.

The only real solution
to this problem at this point, is for the UN to rescind it's approval of the creation of the State of Israel, and return the land to Palestine. The UN createth, and the UN should taketh away.
It was a wrong move to begin with, and it's never going to be solved any other way.
It's either that, or Israel will be pushed into the sea, and the land re-taken anyway.
They may as well get out while they are still alive.
If it really comes to total war, Israel is finished. They can never hold off the Muslim hordes, if it comes to that. No amount of nukes or white phosphorous will save them from that.

Here's an idea...
.. Don't shoot rockets from schools or into Israel and your children will have a better chance at survival. Voting for a terrorist group whos' mission statement is to "Destroy Israel" might not be that helpful, if peace is what you desire. I notice the West Bank seems to have discovered this. Article 57 -- Precautions in attack

Interesting comment. Is my heart cold because I believe Israel has the right to defend herself? Is my heart cold because I understand the history of the region ? Is my heart cold, because I know "International Law" is meaning less? Maybe, I have a cold heart because I believe when you start a War w/ Israel and then hide behind children, YOU are responisble for their deaths.
