who has left the staff is considering taking over this venture right now.

We need a thread where people who want to DO SOMETHING can go and meet like-minded individuals--and get help! I see people with good ideas---and the money and time to carry them out but methodology and legality questions hold them back.

Here's an example from Dr.Steve(posted the 27th ina Billboard slogans thread:

Has anyone thought about contibuting to run some full page 4 color newspaper ads in IA and NH like that guy did in the USA TODAY?
Someone in another blog said they would start a $5 or $10 collection to run them but i don't know if that is legal.

I would gladly design some ads that we could run for Dr. Paul.

Can i do this work for free or is that illegal? I tried to contact the campaign but they have not responded at all to get the details.

If we can do this legally we could hit all the major cities this month before the primaries. Demoines, Cedar rapids, iowa city. Manchester, Concord etc... Newspaper is less expensive than direct mail and allows you to reach 10's to 100's of thousands at 1 shot for much less than mail. To do 100,00 direct mail pieces would cost about $40,000 although we could reach probably 2 or 3 million people for about the same cost in newspaper.

Someone please let me know what you think of this idea and i will put my staff on it.

This bill is an issue in Congress NOW! People need money NOW. They need to hear about this AND the Congressman sponsoring this bill that will HELP! The other guys are talking lots, but our guy is DOING something! What better way is introduce a voter to Ron Paul!

I'm really sorry for being annoyed the other day that you were posting this information in just about every thread in the forum. I've been a part of many forums over the years and this was just one of my pet peeves... spam.

However, I do understand your attempts to get attention to it and it is indeed very important, thank you for your efforts.

NEVADA IS POSSIBLY THE BIGGEST SHORT TERM OPPORTUNITY

ITS A HEAVY DEMOCRAT STATE AND

THE SERVICE SECTOR IS - IS - IS SOOOOO BIG!

It removes the ability to subtract tips from wages.

Currently you can pay your employee nothing if the employee receives enough paper trailed tips to equal minimum wage.

The issue of Restaurants being able to pay $3 and hour or whatever it is is a separate law that is not affected my this.

UPDATE: rereading. It seems like its only talking about subtracting wages for the purpose of tax reporting for social security. I'm not really sure though, any legal begels out there.. :)

This can really take the Tea Party to tthe next level! If even a fraction of these people become Ron Paul supporters! And this is a very good motive for getting involved! More cash in the pockets always makes people more interested!

I slipped a copy of your Tax free info under my cash last night as I told the waitress I don't need any change. She looked at me and asked what is this? I explained that Ron Paul had proposed the legislation and for her to call her congressmen, and to check out Ron Paul for president. She thought that was cool. We'll we had another waitress came by our table and said "Thank You" for the information and that they had posted it in the back! - This works....I don't know how it translates to $$ for the campaign but it gets his name out there!

I am so pumped! My wife and I just returned from a 1,000 mile round trip business trip.

Away from home we ate at many restaurants etc.

Tonight we ate at the famous Cheescake Factory - Tysons Corners, Virginia - and they jumped on the TAX FREE TIPS ACT.

Not only did the manager give me his email and promise to forward it to the whole chain nationally - Other servers came to our table and gave me their email addresses so I could send it to them and they could in turn forward it to friends in other restaurant brands.

I heard if this goes through, the owners would have to pay minimum wage to employees. Is this true? I heard it from a store owner. Thanks,

Simple: It's like giving all your employees a raise that you don't have to pay for.

The flyer I have posted can be lifted and posted elsewhere too -- I found my site shut down for bandwidth and had to increase it but just in case! Better to have it at several locations.

I had some difficulty trying to access the introduction file-never got it.

If you'd like to put something together in a single pdf file on this or any issue I will gladly include it in the Liberty Action section of the RonPaulLive Toolbar. It is much easier for folks to be turned on by Congressman Paul's message and then have the tools readily available to spread the message far and wide.

None of us want to introduce folks to Ron Paul only to leave them out in the cold trying to figure out what they can do to help. This Toolbar will help us all. Like many of the incredible tools available for the Ron Paul campaign this is just one them.
