Eight arrested in Michael Phelps marijuana case...
What a waste of time and money...
... We've now learned that since investigators began trying to build a case, they've made eight arrests: seven for drug possession and one for distribution. These are arrests that resulted as the sheriff's department served search warrants.
We've also learned that the department has located and confiscated that bong.
Sources say the owner of the bong was trying to sell it on eBay for as much as $100,000.
The owner, who wasn't even at the party, is one of the eight now charged.
Phelps is not one of those charged at this point, but the sheriff's department has strong evidence that matches the photo to the house on Blossom Street.

All of the students at University of SC should flood the Sheriffs office with photos of themselves hitting bongs, include their name with the photo. Who could say whats in the bongs. When questioned, just state that the bong was loaded with tobacco. Take these photos in places within his jurisdiction, with recognizable backdrops to prove their validity. All of these "crimes" would have to be investigated just like the Phelps case.

I ran a scientific poll myself and was surprised to discover that 99% of those complaining about the pot smokers had a cocktail in hand and were already drunk.

Vegetarian athletes have set most of the world records . . . .
. . . in running, swimming, biking and many other sports.
And from a personal note, I'd say that raw foods were the breakfast of champions.
Bananas and oranges are "gold" for me!
I have friends who take a toke or two before jogging or biking. Just a little, not too much. Like you would consider a half cup of coffee. It's up to you.
Marijuana is a raw food (herb) when eaten. However, all herbs are toxins and should be used sparingly.
By the way, most all herbs in US have been irradiated. Cooked foods are deranged and destroyed to the extent they are cooked Without water, we know they quickly become burned ashes. But, cooked in water, they also become ashes to a great extent under the same conditions and the ashes are in the the liquids as gruels or soups.
A bong is thought of as cleansing the smoke.
Post script . . I prefer using marijuana in raw, unheated form and ingest it as food. It's a bit more "cosmic" and natural feeling.

I'm sure there were swimmers who ate a few big macs before they swam. My first coach had us fasting and on raw honey (the day of the races, this was back in the 60s and 70s
I am a certified sues chef with the American Culinary Federation who earned 4 medals in vegan and vegetarian categories because the addition of 1/4 teaspoon per serving of hemp oil provides the Omegas needed to complete the acid chain to deliver complete nutrition... I had master chefs tell me, "This is the best vegetarian/vegan food I have ever had!". And I also had master chefs REFUSE to try it. Gruel, is hemp seed porriage.

Kale Chips
One bunch kale, washed and heavy parts of vein on leaf trimmed.
2 teaspoons hemp oil tossed onto kale (like a salad), add
Seasoning such as salt free seasonings, nutritional yeast,
Set dehydrator to 135 degrees dehydrate 3 hours
Soup
Creme of Celery (vegan)
1 bunch celery (use a pealer to cut strings from celery) chop
Water and 2 Cups water
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 cups almond milk
Over med high heat add chopped celery to oil and sweat, adding water when pan gets dry until celery is soft, add 2 cups water, put in blender and process until smooth, return to pot with 2 cups almond milk, heat to simmer, do not boil.
Garnish with 1/4 teaspoon hempnut per 1 cup serving

My Pomadoro (Vegan)
Roma/bush tomatoes should be in season and on sale, for each person buy 4 tomatoes, that's 16 tomatoes to 20 tomatoes for 4 servings. (recipe that follows for four servings)
1 bunch basil
1 bunch spinach
1 head garlic/ or 3 Tablespoons chopped garlic
1/4 Cup Oilve oil
1 teaspoon hemp oil
Optional: parmesan cheese (addition makes this dish vegetarian) or rella (vegan cheese substitute)
Choice: vetticini/ brown rice
In large pot boil water, while h2o is heating, cut out stem of tomatoes and cut an x on the end, drop a few at a time into boiling water until skins begin to peal and then plunge tomatoes into ice water until all tomatoes are processed. Peal off skins, cut in half, scoop out seeds, set aside, boil pasta or steam rice in same water water, meanwhile
Pick, wash and dry spinach and basil.
Pour pasta into strainer, or remove strainer for steamed rice and empty pot of water, return pot to burner, lower heat to med, add oilive oil and tomatoes, cook until tomatoes begin to weep and then add spinach, garlic and herbs, when greens have wilted, return pasta or rice to pot with tomatoes, spinach and basil, and toss, let rest in pot until time to serve, with rella.cheese
Eggplant: Vegan)
Heat oven to 350
1 eggplant per person, you may want more, I'm not kidding.
mayonaise (lacto/ovo vegetarian), vegan mayo (vegan)
bread crumbs (about a half cup per eggplant)
Parmesan cheese or rella (about a half cup per eggplant)
Wash eggplant remove cap, slice into 1/2" rounds, spread both sides of the slices with mayo and drudge in breadcrumbs/rella, place on olive oiled baking sheet or lined with parchment and bake for 1 hour until crisp.
Banana Creme (rawfood vegan)
One peeled and frozen banana per person, processed through champion juicer, topped with hemp nut and carob chips

Phelps should not be held to a higher standard than the average citizen. In fact, he should be given more leeway because he's accomplished more in his 23 years than anyone in the history of the world.
I really wish Phelps would just take a stand here, and stop playing the polite apology game. Retire immediately, blast the US swimming team and Kellogg's for throwing such a great athlete under the bus, and throw your gold medals from the 2nd street bridge in Louisville.
Note: That was the bridge that Muhammed Ali threw his gold medal from.
