Ready to launch a great business?

MississipiGrits has fallen on tough times. She's started a great business at www.urbannaturals.net. I've bought cafe mocha soap from her, and it's great. No fake ingredients or chemicals from oil processing and the scenting is perfect. The soap bars are very big as well and will last along time. They just don't sell soap, they also have lip balm, baby soap, massage oils, lotions and tons of packages.
She's given us a goal to help her fledgling business and her family during this most dire time in our Country. The goal is $3000.00 per month and could easily be achieved if only one fifth of the people viewing this webpage at any one time during the day (that's about 70 people) bought her patriot bundle (one year worth of soap) for $42.00.
Personally I'm tired of all the terrible stories I've heard from around the world. I'm always searching for the good news within our group, while so many seem to focus on the negative aspects of our future. Getting this great business on solid ground and getting some good products would be a great success story for all of us on the Daily Paul.

I received my soap and they're fantastic. I gave one bar to my sister-in-law and she said her eczema is clearing up and she wants to buy more. :)
I would be interested
but I had a horrible incident with olive oil based soap a few years back. Required a doctor's visit even. Are these olive oil based? What is the percentage?
There are some
that do not have olive oil in the recipe.
Our eczema bar is all coconut and is about to be refomulated especially for people that have skin problems such as these using borage oil, rice bran oil, evening primrose oil and essential oils of hyssop & others. :)
But I can make it however you want. I had someone contact me about not using soy so we used safflower instead and it can be scented to your preference.
All of our soaps contain less than a 10% olive oil content.

Remember reading years ago a scientific study about smells that men like. Pumpkin pie spice was high on the list and the pumpkin soap is on sale!

I would buy a chicken coop and a brooder. The coop I was looking at in mother earth news was $1595.00. If I got mine for $300.00 it'd be a slam dunk.

Y'all come to Houston Co. TN we only have 8000 people so it wouldn't take too many to outnumber them and there is a lot of wooded land available. Great fishing and hunting. Long walking trail through town. Cheap real estate and no Wal Marts. ( average house cost 55,000 - that'll get you a 3 BDR ranch.) Need to be self employed because there aren't any jobs here. No state income tax. No "zoning" laws in this county, you can open a store in your back yard, raise chickens, horses whatever.. if you want. Our law enforcement officers are friendly and don't hassle. Enough small and dollar stores to get what you need.

Money maker idea- I just made $225!
With $75 in materials, we built a chicken coop. It sold in 24 hours on craigslist, and I live in a VERY rural area. People just don't have time, and I think anyone can sell these. Check out catawbacoops.com, they have an awesome design / concept and best of all, explain how even CITY dwewllers CAN have "pet" chickens in many cities.

But I designed a brooder for chicks and my husband built it.
I sent Mike Lawson the picture of it. I wish we could post pictures here and I could show you.
We thought about building more and selling them as spring time is coming and this thing can hold 50-100 chicks.

The best part for me is the "I told you so."
I had to nearly browbeat my husband to get it done - it was almost done in one afternoon, then it took two weeks to get him to finish it. He thought I was nuts, that people would just build their own. I got 4 calls in day and sold it. :)

of our brooder. It is really a good design for people raising chicks. It even comes with two warming lights. I think with the lights we could probably sell them for $300 or more.

I looked at your site because I'm interested in some ornamental grasses for landscaping. However, I don't know what those grasses you list look like. Perhaps you would sell more if people like me could see what they are about to order? Just a thought.....
