You guys fooled me into thinking that was a real Huckabee forum!
The guy who posted http://www.mikehuckabeefo... below lead me to believe it was a real forum. When I went there I could not believe my eyes. It is total mocking of extreme fanatical religious right. Each post makes Huckabee fans appear crazy. I really do not believe any of these people are real Huckabee fans. Sure there could be a few people like that in any camp, but this cannot be typical.
Anyway, I had to actually go to the front page to see if this was a real site or just some mock site poking fun. I really did!

than a Bush presidency - just a better spokesman on the strings if you know what I mean. He's just a smoother talker, but policy and direction will be the same no matter the rhetoric that comes from the president.

Reading the forum thread I am assuming this HAS to be satire of fake Huck supporters. It simply has to be. I tell you it caught me off guard and I think it is real.

You all may mock the guy but he will only get more support while the others go down. And while they go down the voters will go over to him and Paul. It will come down to these two guys in the end. The Evangelicals will be most interested in Huck because of the way he pushes for certain issues and is a typical smooth talking preacher who will pull all the tricks to sway these people. There will be a lot more money going to him after he does well in Iowa. So this is no joke. No, he cannot beat Clinton so this will be a deciding factor in why many will be reluctant to support him.

I understand trying to bring levity to the table but there's a time and a place for everything. The last thing we need is a Chuck Norris diatribe and jokes form a Presidential candidate. Who are they catering that ad to? It's insulting to say the least, that he would waste money and offer that as a reason to elect him...

I agree with numerous posters who ask that we not push away any Huckabee supporters while celebrating this mini-victory. Of all the other republican candidates, his supporters and McCain's year 2000 supporters should be the first to join our cause. Let's welcome them to the party.
Give now, give later, keep giving (and don't forget to vote!) This campaign doesn't end after Iowa and New Hampshire. GWB and Kerry each spent about $350M in 2004. We'll need many more supporters and lots of cash to win the general election, but oh, won't it be worth it.

Paul is not exactly a household name in this election but that's not slowing him down. Before the rally, Paul backers wrote the entire constitution in chalk in front of Lawlor Events Center.

We need the respect of the other candidates followers when candidates start dropping out. Making fun of them doesn't help anything. If you're going to say anything, say something about why you don't agree with Huck. And we do have to be careful, they're having a mini-surge and we're still close enough where a couple people suddenly deciding to donate the max can make the difference.
