it's a conversation for christs sake! There are many topics that I care to touch on in my conversations with people! The wonderful thing about people (if you embrace it) is their diversity, that they are not all like me-I'm boring.
It's because of people like you with these kinda posts that we now have mods who argue much the same way....

and I am not turned off by the talk of FEMA camps/coffins, NAU, etc. All I want to do is find out information that the media wont tell us. This site has become a daily staple for me. I don't post much, just read a lot. And I take everything i read with a grain of salt, not just on this site, bit everywhere. I have told some of my friends to check out this site, and will continue to do so. I am sick and tired of our government and their cradle to grave mentality, it is great that there are sites to go to that discuss real issues. remember, not everyone can agree on everything, but we all share a love of liberty and that's more important than concentrating on worrying about turning off new members because of conspiracy theories. besides, Ive learned to "never say never" when it comes to such things.....

The reasons which seem to concern people about "bringing a friend to DP" are all things which buck the mass-programming that the general public is infected with.

Bottom line:
You just lost the fight. Because you'd rather cave in to peer pressure to accept the programmed lie-agenda, than to stand up for yourself and for freedom.

You made the decision to pre-empt them from learning something, because you are a coward, and are afraid what they might think of you for recommending the site where issues you clearly do not understand, are discussed.
You are making them pay the price for your own ignorance.

1. Chemtrails.

Since when is this a secret? I remember hearing about "weather modification" on the TV when I was a kid back in the 1980s.

2. FEMA concentration camps.

If my government had mass quantities of plastic coffins stashed away somewhere, I'd want to know about it. If I was sceptical, I'd want to look at the evidence and make up my own mind.

3. Anti-vaccination.

Part of the broader "government in healthcare" and "big pharma" debates. Let's look at the BIG picture on this one.

4. Zeitgeist.

The reason this film is relevant is because it touches on just about every issue that Libertarians care about. I'm no fan of "Zeitgeist Addendum" but its still relevant!

5. Christianity.

How many Americans go to Church? It is definitely relevant to life in the USA. I say that as a non-religious Brit.

6. Atheism.

See above.

7. Fluoridation.

Although I don't subscribe to all the views expressed on this subject, it definitely relates to issues of government interference and consumer choice.

8. 9/11 Truth.

Does anyone on the Daily Paul believe the official story? I hope not. However, I don't think we should fall into the trap of spinning alternative yarns. Follow Ron Paul's example on this issue.

9. Genocide.

Must be an east-European, African and Asian thing right? That could never happen in North America or Western Europe. Famous last words?

10. Polygamy.

Uhhh. I must have missed those threads.

If you hang out with drug addicts, or hookers, or shoplifters....you'll be assumed guilty of the same. I prefer to think I'm hanging out with forward thinking people here at DP, regardless of the topic de'jour, and perhaps enhancing my chances of being "guilty" of caring about my country.

You are an accidental Ron Pauler. You surely didn't arrive at this persuasion by educating yourself. If you had, you would be awake concerning these issues, and they wouldn't offend you.

We could petition the government to regulate the DailyPaul, that way your friends could visit without being upset by the freedom of individuals to post unregulated topics they may find silly or offensive.

But then again, I like it the way it is and respect the site for its lack of overbearing restriction.

and would never send a friend here. Not only are there completely nutty topics up for discussion, but the place is loaded with government trolls. I believe the government trolls are more interested in abusing authority, than actually protecting this country. It is very sad and I have lost a lot of respect for them.

Seriously though. How free will you and your friends be if you aren't vigilant in seeking truth. How can there be any justice or remedies for our situation if their is no discourse about those things that shape the policies of the Establishment and the laws of our land?

Ron Paul is a person of great integrity and bravery. He does what he can to promote the issues we have in common against all odds. He doesn't run from these issues. He understands the situation more than most and he is pretty sly about what he let's on about to the public. He's no fool but we would be, if we ignored the issues that repel you and your friends.

Trying to stay alive is one of the issues that we all have in common, right? So why are you trying to call out the very people who are concerned and promoting the cause of life and liberty?

Ron believes in FEMA, and spoke frankly about it. Now you only have nine misconceptions to be cured of. Good luck! Plumbing the depths of truth can be a bit painful, but it is truly liberating in the end.

What is crazy about religion is there is no proof. Honestly, how can someone who believes in the truth so bad, believe in talking snakes and magic space aliens in the sky or the world only being 6000 years old when Chinese documented history goes back further than that, is beyond me. The truth is religion is a bunch of stories. The truth is religion has killed millions of people throughout history, oppressed science and technology way beyond where we could be. Its used as a way to control people and keep them in line in society. For someone like RP who wants total freedom, his strong almost fundi-christian views are one of the things that I dislike.

To me, anyone who claims they want the truth, and makes such wild statements such as "there is no way 2 planes took down a building", it can't happen, yet can believe in Jesus walking on water and all the other bible crap, is a living contradiction. There is no room for religion in a society where we have science to explain things.

Please explain to me how two planes can bring down 3 steel buildings in their own footprint at the speed of gravity?

I have a lot of friends and I tell all my friends about Daily Paul.

I chose my friends, not based on sex, race, age, religion, politics, occupation or ability, but truth. That is our common demoninator, and with it, brings trust (priceless).

During the years, friends change as they experience life. I have changed, we all grow (if we are lucky and healthy) we grow with new experiences and our friendships become rocks, perhaps like stepping stones, based on intregity, which fortifies us with confidence.

To be blunt, you know when you're a grown-up when you can be yourself and not worry what other people are thinking about you. It's not a matter of being liked, but it's more a matter of liking.. and apparently you have an attraction to Daily Paul, eh? Admit it. You're here because you really like Dail Paul.

So, I suggest you come out of the closet with your friends and be yourself. If they don't like Daily Paul, so what? If they don't like you because you like Daily Paul, believe me, they never did like you, at least not for who you are, because they don't know who YOU really are, after all... look where you are.. hiding in your Daily Paul closet.

There are several sources to learn about Dr. Paul and his message, or of his ass-kicking speech du jour.
This DP site is my primary source for finding out what's REALLY going on in the world...or what has happened to our world. From the brilliant essays and history lessons from Republicae, to the biblical rants from the jesus freaks on here...I learn a little something from each and all. I agree with some, and agree to disagree with others. How else would any of us have learned about the live avian flu virus in the vaccines from Baxter the other day if not for Mr. Nystrom's site? From CNN? I think not!!
We all know and understand where RP is coming from and what what our ultimate goals are. I think that those of us here are attracted to this site because, as freedom-lovers, we hate being lied to...and at the risk of sounding like 'X-Files'....the truth is out there...trust no one.
I have learned to do my own research. I have learned about our American founding fathers and our Constitution and what it REALLY intends. I have leaned that, just because the election is over, Obama is NOT the President. I have learned to NOT drink the friggin' Cool Aid being given to me by the media. It's been 2 years since I took my "red pill", and thanks to all of you here, I continue to learn and grow.

Usually internet people who read so much online that they've already reached an understanding that the loudest are also frequently the least-informed.

The weird mix of information I get from this site is worth filtering through the flouride and chemtrails and holy wars.

Besides, occasionally I stop in and feed a troll when I'm in that sort of mood.

is that he is all inclusive. He doesn't care what your personal views are because he is a Constitutionalist. He is not trying to control anyone or their views. Because he is so diverse, so is DailyPaul. That is why democrats and republicans and independents are legitimately attracted to what he believes in and stands for.
