Was Marvin Gaye a Libertarian?

I normally listen to Jazz FM when I want a break from all the depressing and misleading radio news channels over here in the UK.
However, one Marvin Gaye song I heard this morning had lyrics that sounded more like Libertarian social commentary than escapism:

Most people
are Libertarians, but don't know it.

"Yep, fiat money is a wonderful thing DrKrbyLuv, whether debt-based or fresh off the press without debt...you are going to love all that fiat money when it is cheaper to wipe your ass with a 100 Dollar Bill than to buy toilet paper." -Republicae.
Sounds libertarian to me.
