Disenfrancised on HR1207
Submitted by Brooks5000 on Sun, 03/15/2009 - 19:38
Recently I sent an email to my representative, Thad McCotter of Michigans 11th district, urging him to support HR1207. After several days, I recieved a response. Here is the opening paragraph of this form letter response:
"Thank you for informing me of your support for H.R. 833, the Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act. Your thoughts on this important matter are most welcome and appreciated."
The letter went to inform me why HR833 was unrealistic and not needed. Here was my response:
"Dear Congressman McCotter
Thank you for your response to my recent letter urging your support of HR1207, to audit the federal reserve.
I understand that as a congressman, you must be very busy and therefor find it necessary to respond to your constituents via form letters. However, please advise your staff that when you are contacted about HR1207, they should not respond with a form letter concerning HR833. As is clearly indicated by the numeric identity, these are completely seperate resolutions.
Please do not insult me by sending another form letter of apology over this mistake. In fact you may refrain from contacting me at all, for any reason.
Disinfranchisement is a more serious issue than you understand, as illustrated by your careless attempt to correspond with the people you represent."

Yep, keeping the pressure on. Thanks
