Fill out Republican Survey and communicate Ron Paul's Message

http://web.campaignsoluti...

Republicans are trying to sound like Ron Paul in the media, at meetings and through conversations...this survey is a way we can keep them on their toes.

#6 allows you to put comments about what Republicans should do to win me back. Here's some ideas of what I put:

In order to win me back to the Republican Party the Party will have to change the Republican platform to reflect these ideals: Ending the Federal Reserve as well as any Central Bank, End Federal Funding of Education, Bring all of our troops home from every base outside of the US, End the Income Tax and don't replace it with the Fair Tax or any other unconstitutional Tax, reinstate the 10th Amendment in each state, and stop beauractratic agencies from limiting the free market of ideas to name a few.

To make this a simpler message the Republcan Party should follow the platform of Ron Paul in order to win back my action in the party.

Please fill out the survey and feel free to elaborate or change some of my comments!

Take Back the Party or Get Out of The Party and join a 3rd Party.

I was glad to fill it out…

…but I did not like the selective questioning.

I filled out a comment but the whole

thing is obviously a sham. They have no interest in hearing your opinion, instead they want to TELL you your opinion while you make a donation.

Free and Brave
or Cradle to Grave
You can't have both

Right

The questions are just absurd...they are trying to "feed" you the correct answer. The survey presumes you have no brain and nothing real to say.

Here's my #6 comment...

In order to win me back to the Republican Party the Party will have to change the Republican platform to reflect these ideals: Follow and enforce the Constitution. Repeal the Patriot Act. Get us out of the United Nations and NATO. Repeal NAFTA and GATT. Push for term limits in all areas of Government. End the "war on drugs" and the "war on terror." Ending the Federal Reserve as well as any Central Bank. End Federal Funding of Education. Bring all of our troops home from every base outside of the US. End the Income Tax and don't replace it with the Fair Tax or any other unconstitutional Tax. Reinstate the 10th Amendment in each state. Repeal the 14th Amendment, so states rights will trump Federal gestapoism. Stop beauractratic agencies from limiting the free market of ideas to name a few.
To make this a simpler message, the Republcan Party should follow the platform of Ron Paul, of peace, freedom and liberty in order to win back my action in the party.

My comments at the end of the survey: "I am working within the Repbulican Party to change the platform and get like minded candidates elected that will promote peace, freedom, and liberty. This is not an easy task though, as the Neo-Cons have had control for many, many years. So they are not giving up easily."

I posted a similar message for my wife too.

Good job!

Can others copy this to build on? God I'm lazy.. LOL But this was very well crafted and you hit on all the points.

I filled it out too.

The boxes I checked in the section of Homeland Security and Defense Issues in particular are not the ones that they obviously wanted to be checked. I also gave them this bit of bad news:

Regrettably, there is nothing the Republican Party can do before 2010 to gain my trust. I must not only hear Republicans saying the right things, I must observe them DOING THE RIGHT THINGS. This means voting to limit government intervention at home and abroad, and drastically to cut government spending. Repeal the Patriot Act and the bailouts. Audit the Fed. Give a loud NO to every bill that increases the central government's control, particularly the executive branch. Strenuously oppose every bill that exerts federal powers not specifically authorized by the Constitution.

I filled out the survey, but

I filled out the survey, but I mentioned that my trust cannot be won, because I will never stand by and idly hope for bad things to somehow work out in the end. I stated that the only way to win my support is for the deeds done to conform to the promises given. I think that is a message we should all send their way, even if you don't want to include specific things you care about. Making them aware that filibustering in the Senate and actually living up to the small government promises is required for support may help us see near term change.

Cico

Beware the carrot dangling in front of you.

So, we give them all these ideas, they come out in droves, campaigning full force in 2010 and then 2012 promising everything we told them we want to hear.

...then nobody knows who the hell to vote for because every one of them is spouting exactly what we wanted to hear, promising that they have listened to us and have changed.

Then after all the election "smoke" clears, they win, get in there and get right back to business as usual, as the public realizes they have been duped yet again.

I will give them no ideas. When you have to actually work by trial and error to discover your faults, you are more likely to abide by your claims of change.

So What's New? It is no different than hearing 'Hope & Change'

and believing it! I have no illusions that we can "change" the Republican Party by filling out the survey----but it does me good to tell them exactly what I think. I focused on telling them the State Party machine does not follow their own by-laws OR election laws---operating like the Mafia instead!
The actual reason for the survey was NOT to hear what we had to say, but an attempt to extract a donation from us---and it gave me great pleasure to tell them what I think and NOT DONATE! I admit, they probably didn't even read my answers when the 'envelope' was empty.

Well said

I filled out the survey. I doubt it will amount to anything, but filling out the survey and letting them know what I want out of them is more productive than grumbling about it on the Daily Paul.

One of my friends told them---

"the people who put the REPUBLIC up front were the heart and soul of the party and we would be getting rid of the useless appendages. Then added that our movement was full of young people that would outlive them." I am active in the party and I can see what she said is true! Many of those in power in the state are much older than I am and I am a senior citizen!
When I started taking part in state meetings, I was told I should just sit back and get to know people, and watch what they do and LEARN from them! And I wasn't to mention Ron Paul---that was a No No!
Bear in mind that EVERYONE in the state machine KNEW I was a Ron Paul supporter! This 'advice' was just an attempt to shut me up----and it didn't work!
