Insightful article on Mexico and the "Drug Problem"

Mexico doesn't have a drug problem. Mexico has a U.S. problem.
This is one of the first articles that really gets it. Calderon was convinced by the U.S. to fight the cartels and it has created the WAR in his country..... which the U.S. is now using as an excuse to put their foot in the door to "help".
What Mexico should say to the Cartels is "Go to it boys" and get out of the way. Let the U.S. fight the problem if the really WANT to. Of course what should happen is legalization to stop the entire problem. But the U.S. would rather keep the $$$ made by all of the industries (prisons, law enforcement, pharmaceuticals and of course big money being laundered to keep the stock market going)..... AND at the same time create an excellent opportunity to throw Mexico into chaos so that "they need our help".
