Local Tea Party neo-con love fest.

We went to a "tea party" in our town today. There were probably about 250 people, mostly middle class, of all ages. The bad part is it was mostly a neo-con party spouting nothing other than the anti-bailout (which was good) routine. There was no mention of the Federal Reserve, foreign intervention, abolish the IRS...NOTHING.
Oh, there was one jackass with 4 tea bags hanging from his hat. I thought, "I wonder if this man understands the historic relationship between the British, America and our throwing tea chests into Boston harbor"?
There was some talking head state level politician that spoke. Nothing to report about that.
Saw only 1 Ron Paul sign carrier....who was certain Ron Paul's name was on the ballot in November in our state (it wasn't)
We left after 20 minutes, bored.
I srill don't know who is organizing it in Chicago
but I would love to go there and offend some retards. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than to tell some moron in his or her face how dumb (s)he is.
How do you expect these neo-cons to support HR1207 if they are scared of Arabs and need to FED's financial support to continue this imperialism?

If Obama has done one thing it has united people and I am finding more and more who understand what is going on....and no longer think it's something we made up.

I plan to wake up some neo-cons. Think about this: The 2010 and 2012 elections are now 100% hopeless because EVERY candidate will be saying the "right" thing and people will be fooled once again. They know Obama will be bad, so they're trying to position it as a DvsR thing quick before people say, "huh?"

I have been recieving assorted tea bag invitations from my Republican friends, to which I respond with links to Ron Paul LiberTEA Parties, dating to 2007 and THANK them for joining us.
As I have stated before,
this whole Tea Party movement has been neo-conned. It's back to partisan politics for these clowns.
I am going to hand out fliers on how the neo-con movement is destroying American liberty and sovereignty. The purpose to embarrass and shame the sheeple who have blindly aligned with this traitorous movement and wake them up from their slumber.
There is now an endless supply of these traitors in the bible belt of SC, so my targets are numerous.
Go to them!
So go to the damn tea parties with a big "END THE FED" sign or something and talk to people and hand out literature! Don't let them be brainwashed by the neo-cons. The people coming out to these can feel that there is someting very wrong, but they don't know what. This is your big chance to wake up more people.

This is a good idea. Many people now regret they did not vote for Ron because the media said he was nuts. Now they know he's the only one who tells the truth and it's also a moment to teach about how the media lies lies lies when someone needs to have his ideas squelched.
So what if they are mad at the bailouts. Take it further and teach them more.
Being angry that they co-opted the message is childish and dumb... don't you WANT THE MESSAGE OUT THERE?

I just got this today and thought it was from the C4L people but was dumbfounded that this kind of talk came from the same people that basically shunned us! Got any more suggestions on how best to approach this event?

I talked with various people about the most important issues but most peoples eyes glazed over.
If there's a next time I'll be handing about flyers about liberty and the points we all hold dear. I WILL NOT direct them to C4L as I think the site is poorly done and a confusing mess.

I fear this is happening here, too. We tried for over a year to get something rolling with the Ron Paul movement, and thanks to early and effective infiltration, this meetup never did anything noteworthy. Now this teaparty stuff comes along, and suddenly there are a hundred new people all fired up, and they have websites and corporate sponsors... the corporate sponsor thing REALLY makes my head spin... It sure seems strange how well funded and organized all the new blood is. I just have the creepiest feeling that these tea parties are a planned move to pull momentum away from the real issues before us.

Why are we wasting our time at these lukewarm protests? There should be Campaign for Liberty "parties." THAT would be something. The posters would be a lot better than "Palin 2012," that's for sure.
In many ways, the tea parties are trying to advance the OPPOSITE of what we want. I mean they are pushing a whole confusing mess of ideologies and agendas.
