He will be giving further response to Obamas speech...(apparently we missed the CNN Ron Paul response right after Obamas speech at 11:30 am ! )

This post is inaccurate. Obama is not giving a speech tonight, and Ron Paul is subsequently not giving any official Republican response.

Ron Paul just gave an informal response on CNN after Obama's speech this afternoon.

that's friggin awesome!!!!! (i really wanted to type that in all caps, but generally find all caps annoying...)

I hope he uses a prepared speech like he does on the House floor and does not try to wing it. I love RP for resisting the pre-canned approach but this is a time when he needs a speech that can be followed by the fourth grade mentality of the US.

Is this being confused with what just happened this afternoon? Are you sure Obama is giving a prime time speech tonight?

Hopefully, Ron Paul will have the opportunity to tell MSM viewers the difference between Libertea parties and the tea bagging taking place tomorrow.

In fact, I was going to try to work today (started working on a project at 7:30am YESTERDAY--and just finished---that's a 28 hour work day!), but now I'm going to go to bed and wake up to see this later.
I know I'll get mad though, because I'll start thinking how a few months ago he was "certifiable".

Of course it is because NONE of them understand economic matters....... ONLY Dr. Paul CAN make this response. But WOW! I don't care WHY they did it..... I am just THRILLED that MILLIONS will see Dr. Paul that may have never seen him before. I will admit that I am laughing my head off thinking of MY FAMILY of Bush people having to rely on Ron Paul for the response! hahahahaha

If so, this is HUGE news, IMHO.

Isn't this basically a concession by the republican party that Ron Paul's ideals are the proper path forward?
