Paul could easily be among top 3
"On Nov. 5, Paul supporters put together an eye-popping performance for their candidate, gathering $4.3 million, one of the biggest single-day showings of any candidate in history. A $12 million haul over the last three months of the year would probably make him competitive with the top two fundraisers in the contest -- former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney -- and would probably provide him a huge advantage over the rest of the field."

important
remember, its all about delegates
And we MUST walk the precincts to get from #3 to #1 in ballots
The mainstream media told us that we were just a few people sitting at computers, and we went out and rallied in person. Then they told us that Straw Polls were a measure of our political organization, and we conquered straw polls all over the United States. Then they told us it was donations that were the measure of a healthy campaign, and we totally made history with donations on November 5th.
But there is one thing left that we must do to establish Congressman Ron Paul as a legitimate candidate for 2008 -- we must walk our local precincts.
They don't count rallies, signs, stickers, and internet polls, they count votes.
Just imagine the BRAND NEW VIRAL MARKETING BLITZ we are getting among people who thought Ron Paul was just an interesting candidate who couldn't win, when their neighbor shows up at the front door with some literature to point out Ron Paul's unrivaled voting record and how this man of action has never been owned by lobbyists.
At work, church, lunch hour, and the gym, people will be commenting on the NEWS of their life -- "Hey, somebody from Ron Paul's campaign stopped by my house this weekend, and I'm starting to think that he's electable."
And finally, this just in...
They are noticing that Rudy's crowds are not always that big, and most often just curiosity seekers, not firm voters like Ron Paul people who number the thousands and WILL all vote!

donations from abroad
cw
Can foreigners donate? I'm thinkin no. Am I wrong? What about Americans living abroad (lots of Americans here) ? Anyone know the rules or am I just being lazy, here in Canada? I believe in Ron Paul, his message and that it is
now or never. IT truly is now or never.
God Bless
foreign supporters
I found this on another thread--thought it might help! ........"The solution to wanting to donate is to contribute towards the several projects that are running. Also a great way for those that have maxed out.
to donate towards the chip in campaigns.
I am in the same position, being Australian, and living in Australia.. but absolutely mesmerized by what is going on in this life changing campaign. I have been 'glued' to my computer screen for the last 6-8 months.
Go Ron Paul!!!.
I have donated what I could towards the Ronpaulradio dot com and another donation towards a NH group.
Hopefully someone can come up with the website addy for the chip-in groups. I have misplaced it unfortunately.
Many groups needing lots of many for their grass roots efforts to get the name of Ron Paul out!"
I think that kinda says it well! It seems like there are options worth looking into! Other comments mentioned prayer and blogging as other ways to help!
What about PACs?
AFAIK foreigners and those who already maxed out can donate to a Political Action Committee (e.g. http://www.ronpaulblimp.c...) and that way supporting grassroots efforts.
Nope
You cannot donate. WE, however can influence YOUR elections - anything from financial support all the way to coup d'etat. It's called 'Full Spectrum Dominance'.
Must be a
United States citizen or a lawfully-admitted permanent resident.

There are many ways you can ''help'' if you aren't legible to donate, you can help 'spread the message' as I'm sure you've done already... there are plenty of websites/news articles etc., that you can post to - to spread the word about RP - and also to keep things positive :o)
Glad to have you around, no matter where from - I'm sure RP and all his supporters are very glad for the world wide attention and I know everyone here enjoys hearing from folks abroad.
Run the #'S
NH
only 10% of people vote in Primarys
Rudy 20%
Ron 8%
1000 people
Rudy = 200 sheeple 10% = 20 votes
Ron = 80 people *50% = 40 votes
*Our people are Fanatics
Ssshhhhh, but don't tell!
Oh and I say we still NEED A TEA PARTY! keep the pledges going!
Watch freedomtofascism.com
I think your % for rudy is
I think your % for rudy is on the mark, but i think you greatly underestimate RP supporters .. we may be looking at 80% = 64 :)
spend 3 bucks
Go on classmates and email all your old buds, TELL THEM THE TRUTH!
Convert them we have to reach the multitudes!

Good idea and it's not like we're trying to get them tobuy Amway
not that there's anything wrong with selling Amway : )
Needs more money!
Campaign still needs $300,000 a day before Nov 30th and they're falling short of that.
However, he is campaigning with close to Romney's cash and has a stronger following with supporters.
If/when he get's the top 3, Fox will still keep on saying that the top 3 are Guiliani, Romney, McCain.
I really think that the primaries will show correct numbers as Paul supporters will take the time to register and vote for a process that few vote on before the General Election.
Where does that $300K figure come from anyway? (nt)
"Fight wars for a just cause, not just because!"
A few numbers
Currently there are an estimated 55 million registered republicans.
Assuming old national zogby numbers
http://www.pollingreport.... were completely accurate support for the candidates are as follows.
16 million rudy 29%
8.3 million fred 15%
6.1 million huck 11%
4.9 million mccain 9%
4.9 million romney 9%
2.8 million paul 5%
(yes these are old numbers)
But wait at average of 15% for primary turnout that leaves
(in millions)
2.4 rudy
1.25 fred
.915 huck
.74 mcain
.74 romney
.42 paul
So if 100% of Ron Paul supporters get out and vote we've got it won.
This isn't likely of course, though 50% would put us at number 2 which is very likely and we know rudy is slipping and Ron is at 7-8% right now
assuming 8% support we've got 4.4 million with a required 55% voter turnout for Ron Paul. This is Completely do able. So make sure ALL supporters are reminded that their vote is extremely important in the Primaries, we can't risk even a single one.
See my post about numbers...
If everyone who comes out to see Ron at these huge rallies does get out and vote, we will make a formidable showing.
In NH, we pray for snow!
Great Post. Spread The Word.
This is a very exciting point, that needs to get across to every Ron Paul supporter in a meetup group and beyond.
This alone would be enought to motivate everyone who supports Ron Paul to get out and vote.
Maybe even vote in groups on election days, to elevate the participation.
Great stuff! Question...
The article appears in the Star Telegram but it originated at the Washington Post, according to the byline. I tried the Post site but could not find this piece, even though I subscribe to WaPo emails. Many other Ron Paul articles but not this one.
Question: how do I get to the original article in the Post?
Dunno
I can't seem to find it either. On the other hand, an article came up that supposedly talked about the RP 'dollar scandal' which isn't even, since no crime has even been charged and RP is not involved! That seems to have gone missing too, perhaps after someone pointed out that the statement could be taken as libelous?
The fact that the $9M has already hit the news and they didn't even wait for the quarterly reports means that advanced money is important and they ARE watching this now serious candidate thanks to all of you.
Nice!
Paul added that his campaign plans another "special" grassroots-sponsored fundraising day Dec. 16, which he said he expects will bring in millions.
I think even though the campaign asked for money to flow in earlier in the week... they (probably especially Paul himself) are very excited, anxious and happy about the Tea Party fundraising effort! I'm just as excited as ever about Dec. 16th - it's going to be a day to remember for a long long time and will cause untold excitement for the campaign and the early primary States.
You're welcome!
I try to be the bearer of GOOD news. :-)
*And* dont forget Dec 16th is also in the fourth quarter...
And once we raise $10 Million or MORE on Dec 16th, his fourth quarter total will be more news! Double the Bang for the Buck!
Also, a great photo of Dr. Paul!!
He has that "Maverick / Dark Horse" look about him in that photo - as if to say, "I know you're not expecting this, but I'm about to WIN it all!" :)
