Current Republican Feed, What does this mean?

Hi,
I recently saw an episode of Jack van Impe ("Christian political commentator+preacher"), where he:
1. Chewed out Obama for threatening the "War on Terror"
2. Warned of a coming New World Order
3. Claimed that Obama's "peace" would be the New World Order
4. Pitched his book, "Rule of the New World Order", including
* illuminati
* bilderbergers
* Council on Foreign Relations
* Trilateral Commission,
* Rome meetings (?), etc
This was obviously Bread-and-Butter for rank-and-file WASP Republicans, but I find it odd that he would preach both sides:
Us: Coming new world order, NWO = bad
Them: Nothing we can do about the NWO, War on Terror = good
Any idea what this means? The hosts of the show were Very polished, in the sense of snake-oil-salesman polished, but they were pushing both important elements of the freedom doctrine and core elements of the status quo / neo-con message at the same time.
Are they likely employees of the status quo, or just misguided, or something else? Everything about them was fake, including the message they were pushing, but what is it to their bosses advantage to rail against the "coming NWO" (even if they conspicuously avoid encouraging opposition to it)?
PS - incidently, the next show was some other guy, but had the title "The End is Near - rise of the antichrist" or something like that.
