Swine Flu Martial Law Bill Clears Massachusetts Senate

Howdy Folks,
I know how valuable your time is these days, so I’ll get right to the point. As you probably know MassLPA members have been relentless in our lobbying efforts and the vaccine awareness campaign. I’m please to say that we hit the State House like a hurricane and brought immediate attention to S. 2028, the Pandemic bill. Several MSM interviews later and the tides quickly began to change. Unfortunately, we knew this was only a temporary victory.
Today I received a late morning call from a State House aid (spotter) that said S. 2028 WILL be moving this Thursday. We already know through previous reports that the House Ways and Means Committee was removing some of the constitutional concerns and redundant provisions that currently exist in MGL. NOTE: It’s a common tactic to add a lot of fluff to a controversial bill in hopes that the public will perceive that they actually got something in the compromise, when if fact their is no net gain to be realized.
There’s two possible outcomes here. One would result in KILLING S. 2028 for good and the other would move the battleground to the House. Here’s the plan.
Like I said, we already know some of the things that will likely be removed. If we launch a 48 hour call campaign and rail against things that have already been addressed, S. 2028 will move on to the House effortlessly. We need to focus on those things that have NOT been removed, like liability exemption. Liability concerns are a key issue because government officials are having a really hard time getting medical professionals to cooperate. In fact, medical personnel in NY are having their jobs and licenses threatened if they don’t comply. If they were to remain liable for health negligence, this alone would push a whole bunch more over the edge too and further impact government vaccination plans.
Another good talking point is to remind them that since government agencies arbitrarily lowered standards in reaction to vaccine makers scaling back testing and trials, this translates to a blatant, unnecessary and avoidable risk to public health and safety. We MUST make this a “public health and safety” issue! There’s absolutely no incentive for caution if nobody can be held liable. Tell your Representative that you’ll hold them personally responsible if anyone dies due to their apathy and corporate appeasement. Remind them that the next required vaccination will be for the “A1S8 Fed Flu” during the 2010 election.

I thought the senators had cleared out, fled the senate building in fear of flu contagion. They certainly should be first in line for shots.

Massachusetts wiped out by the swine flu vaccine. After all, they seem to be a bunch of collectivist bent on sending their worthless elected congressmen and senators to destroy the lives of the citizenry of the rest of the States.

This "swine flu" thing is about the biggest load of "who gives a f*ck?" I can remember. Why are our totalitarian rulers hanging their hats on such a slender reed?

Are they just getting greedy, now that they feel their century-long plans of total control are within their grasp?

I've started to wonder, with the simultaneous pushes for 1) ghoulish government "medicine," 2) taxes on the air, 3) the snowballing hysteria over "terrorism," and now this completely over-the-top BS about a form of the flu that's killed like .0000000000000000000000000000000001% of the earth's population to date?

Let them over-reach and show their hand. Maybe then even more people will wake up and we can do something serious about our intolerable state of affairs. We can say, as one people: NO.

I heard someone on the news says something about Somalia:

"It's the responsibility of the government to feed, educate, and protect the people."

Being civilized is nice; I like clean and safe drinking water, etc. But we have to keep in mind the shiny trinkets the government dangles in front of us as bait to keep us entrapped in civilization (sheep, slaves, and so forth). Clearly, the government would gain more power over the people during a pandemic crisis, real or imagined.

When push comes to shove, will we give up freedom in exchange for health?

I don't see what the big deal is. Why do I have to get a shot? By their logic - if you get one you are safe, so if I don't I'm not a threat to anyone who got one, so who cares - my choice.

The question here is that is it necessary to have a swine flu martial law? But I do agree that in a case of widespread flu epidemic, it is useful. That is something we teach in our bachelor degree allied health science

Just another reason that MA liberty lovers need to consider moving to NH as part of the http://www.freestateproje.... MA has high taxes, draconian gun regulations and now this precursor to martial law. Make plans to get out of MA asap or you might end up in a FEMA camp!

All Americans, call the governor of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts public health commissioner, all the state senators and state reps and tell them that as Americans that this bill they have passed violates the constitutional rights that residents of Massachusetts have as US citizens, and that it is therefore illegal and enforcement would be criminal. Also tell them about the dangers of untested vaccines, about the history of this, about how the government should listen to doctors and let them do what they are qualified to do, not senselessly order them around. The fact that this thing passed unanimously indicates to me that either the state legislators were panicked or not paying attention. Shut down their phones, telling them they must immediately repeal this horrible law.

I want to get this idea out there quickly, so somebody find lists of all the legislators and their phones, and other relevant state officials you can think of and post them. We don't have to live in Massachusetts to help out with this.

the Senate without anyone knowing about it, but now that we know - time for boots on the ground. Call, email, fax and visit your state reps immediately and tell them "Don't even think about it!!" In other states we should be doing the same thing and not wait until they sneak a vote on us like Mass. did.

...I might recommend some increased attention to what is happening with this fllu BS! There are about to be men with machine guns on street corners in selected states and cities. Once the magic crisis generates the hysteria points it will happen. Watch specifically the tactical geopolitical spread of the earliest identified states.

Has anyone else seen the youtube video about the truckers purportedly working for DHS picking up deliveries from Albany, New York everyday? They're transporting what was believed to be Avain Flu. Not Avian Flu vaccinations, because they were supposedly refrigerated. They were given shots to transport it, and told that it was to protect their families. Their trucks were lowered down into a missle silo. Very creepy stuff. I know they say to believe half of what you see and none of what you hear...or whatever, but still. Director-General Margaret Chan is expected to make the announcement at a 10 p.m. (2000 GMT) press briefing about the swine flu outbreak at the WHO's Geneva headquarters.

"Things are moving fast," one source said.

Another said Chan would increase the alert by one step, from 4 to 5, in response to the spreading virus that has killed as many as 159 people in Mexico and spread to the United States, Canada, Europe, Israel, and New Zealand.

The 36-0 vote is very scary. That will set a strong precedent for other states to adopt the same laws. I am so terrified of the military coming into my home. What if a member of my family has a fever? What if we are political enemies of the state because we like Ron Paul, and they just want to have an excuse to carry us away?

This is a very real concern.

I am petrified.
