I remember an interview of Rachel and

she was asked which candidate she liked in the primaries and she said "Ron Paul" made the biggest impression on her...

If you wont fight for the right when you can easily win...you may...have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival [or] when there is no chance of victory...it's better to perish than to live as slaves.

Sent her Kudos

I didn't know who exactly she was til yesterday.

Isn't this ironic? They counted Dr. Paul out now a year after the primaries he is the only one who has a fan club left? I don't imagine that people email each other when "Hey, McCain is gonna be on tonight" - or Romney, Julie, Fred...

oops I watch Huck some, but for amusement not enlightenment, he can keep his little show but he no future in politics that I can see. And he had Willie Nelson and Ray Price on last week that was cool.

Just saying, Ron Paul is the only one left standing that still matters! So we won that one!

Paul on Maddow Show

I think Rachel Maddow treated Dr Paul with more respect than the leadership of the Republicrat party. I usually do not watch Maddow as she reminds me of a female Levin. Now I believe she deserves a little respect from us for knowing her place and not interrupting while Dr Paul is speaking. This is the 2nd time i believe she has interviewed Dr. Paul, which puts her light years ahead of many conservative hosts (hannity, limbaugh, ingraham, o'reilly, levin(puke)....

As long as she lets Dr. Paul speak

he will continue to draw people to his philosophy. He gets cut off by the supposed Republican tv pundits all the time.

I don't mind the Republican bashing... Personally, I think the GOP needs to be run through the wringer until they realize that their only hope is to stop resisting Ron Paul's ideas. They're still talking about Palin, Romney, Gingrich etc. for 2012, which is no better than when they served up Dole in '96 -instant loss.

Excellent..

He told the Republicans exactly what they needed to hear.

Especially about Personal Liberty.

Republicans... Your actions speak so loud... I can't hear a word you are saying...

Let's see Republicans run to sponsor some of Dr. Paul's bills dealing with Personal Liberty.

She does not understand the

She does not understand the difference between abolishing the Fed and auditing the Fed.

I caught that...

Ron Paul=Red Pill

you

god damn right.

that was a beautiful

slap in the face of both parties and the republican party needed it most. i dont care that rachel was only interested in bashing republicans. it brings even more pressure on them to back up a sensible man like ron paul or someone like him if he does not chose to run in 2012. this is backing the gop into a corner and i can tell they are scared shitless. their choices for a real republican are dwindling to no one but ron paul and they know it. we will win this revolution.

The ones at the top aren't

The ones at the top aren't scared shitless. Remember, there is really only one party at the top, and we're not invited. Their goal is to annihilate everything this country was founded on. Now the ones in the middle of the party ranks are a different story, and they are the ones who are scared and are clinging to their fears of another Al-CIA-da attack.

Are you a person?

Do you really control your own affairs?

I was impressed with the Dr.

I was impressed with the Dr. He is more relaxed, grounded, confident, speaks louder and firmer. In short he is much more 'presidential' than in the earlier interviews. The good doctor is well seasoned and I perceive 'more ready' for another run on the WH.

"If it doesn't kill you it makes you a better person."

A beautiful perspective

so very well said. thank you.
ZigiMe.com

In truth,

THAT WAS TERRIBLE

She had absolutely no interest in his ideas. She was only interested in bashing Republicans. Yes, Republicans deserved to be bashed, but so do the Democrats and this Obama administration.

Bashing Republicans

I Think Dr. Paul Made The Point That Clearly Both Democrats And Republicans Are Hypocritical...Did You here Him Say That ? I Did..

no, not really...

It may not have been a great interview, and she may not hold the same beliefs as we do, but she gave him all the time he wanted, and didn't attack his ideas. Her closing statement was rather positive towards Dr. Paul also. So, no, it was not "terrible."

I just had a thought ...

You know how Glenn Beck has been running out in front of the liberty movement trying to corral it into faux's corner, could this be MSNBC's attempt at trying to outfox faux?

I think RP has outfoxed them all!

Glenn Beck He seems so damn

Glenn Beck

He seems so damn sincere, I know exactly why people are taken with him.

But this is why we have youtube. To expose hypocrisy and speaking out of both sides of one's mouth.

And Glenn is right up there. Show me a video where AT LENGTH he apologizes to the liberty movement, and apologizes to Dr. Paul for so being totally wrong.

Then I'll accept Glenn.

Is there such a video? I think not. Just videos of him saying: " I don't agree with everything he says, but Ron Paul..... " or "Ron Paul is fine, It's his supporters that are crazy"

I was watching the occassional youtube clip of Glenn, when posted to the DP, but I'm over it.

He's not with us. He's with himself and Fox, and his money.

(sorry for the tangent)

I sent a thank you

to rachel@msnbc.com

hope that's the right address!

Excellent Rachel, but it's

Excellent Rachel, but it's just not the kiddies who like RP; it's all ages.

I made that point too ...

Just so they can't keep spinning that quasi truth.

What was that Rachel ?

Rachel ,I hate to inform you but I am 59 yrs young & I support RON PAUL...I guess I am labled a young person, THANKS..THIS is a lot broader than young people...I usuallly don't like Rachel's rehtoric but this was a true interview ...
you-no

see to your liberty

Thanks, Confu...

for sticking up for us more "mature" aged supporters.

There Is No One Like Him !!

I'll Take Rachel Maddow Any Day Over That Wishy Washy Turn-Coat TUCKER CARLSON...The Shit Ass Still Wears A Bow Tie..SISSY!!

Dr. Paul nailed It Calmly, Logically And Gracefully !! You Can Win Over Your Enemies With Honey Not With Vinegar...The Other Fuckin Republicans Have No Truth Or Grace..They Are A Bag Of "Dead Men's Bones.."

I agree. Tucker is so smug

I agree. Tucker is so smug and kinda smarmy. The bow tie really bugs me too. Worst, was him parading his hooker dates during the campaign and walking out of the Rally. What a weasel.

Rachel

keeps this up, she is going to have a new watcher!! Great job by Dr. Paul.

I sent her a thank you email but...

I am sure she will turn on us soon enough.

Compared to earlier Maddow interviews

This was almost an ass kissing compared to an earlier RP interview by Maddow. I'm not quite at the point of writing a thank you letter yet but I'm almost there.

Great job as usual. Eyes are

Great job as usual. Eyes are opening thanks to the good doctor.

Her politics might be different from ours

But it's obvious Maddow has a lot of respect for Dr. Paul. When has anyone else let him speak for that long uninterrupted?

Great interview! i wrote her

Great interview!

i wrote her a letter and asked her to bring Ron Paul on with Dennis Kucinich. I think the both of these guys need to show America what the right and left really look like.

Yes, great idea.

Ron Paul is my President.

Ron Paul is my President.

That's a great point and

That's a great point and even better idea! I'm doing the same.

This was great & I hope

Ron continues his realtionship with the Maddow show.

Nice to see H.R.1207 mentioned on a D program.

This is exactly the coverage

Ron Paul needs! Fair and balanced. He is already emerging as the smartest man in the GOP. We all knew that, and now even the media is having to admit it, and the coverage is turning positive. Newt, Rush, Palin, Romney are all just so "old fashioned same ole things". Now, THEY have little credibility. Ha Ha. All we can hope for at this point, is that this translates into support for HR 1207. That would be a huge step in the Ron Paul plan for reform, because once the spotlight is trained on the shennanigans of the Federal Reserve, it would take a damn fool (not that we don't have a bunch of these in Congress!) to continue with their carte blanche authority.

WOW! a great interview!

i just gotta say - could ron get possibly get any more handsome???

Three Cheers For Rachel

as it relates to This interview.

My email to her:

Rachel,

Thank you so much for conducting a professional interview with the Statesman. Maybe you and MSNBC could provide a forum for a public prime time debate with Dr. Paul and Newt.

Dr. Paul is not only very smart intellectually,

he is also very smart strategically and diplomatically. It seems as if Maddow wants to encourage the libertarian and neocons. in the GOP to split, maybe to ensure the 40 years of Democratic rule James Carville is writing and speaking about. But he outsmarts her with everything and strategically appeals to the "leftwingers" who he knows watch MSNBC and her show who he knows are anti-war and pro-civil liberties and must be disillusioned with Obama. Dr. Paul is building a new coalition, that can IMHO be stronger than the Reagan coalition. The neocons can eventually go back to the Dems, as some of them are doing, while Dr. Paul build a coalition of fiscal conservatives, social conservatives, social and political libertarians and also anti-war (reforming) leftists.

Next we should see if he can be on Ed Schulz new show. he did appear on his radio show last year with the primaries.

"he outsmarts her with

"he outsmarts her with everything and strategically appeals to the "leftwingers" who he knows watch MSNBC"

Yes, the good doctor is adept at tacking into the political winds and steering the message in the direction he desires.

She's stated that Paul is her favorite Republican

I don't think it was an adversarial interview.

She did give him a fair

She did give him a fair interview with plenty of time to speak. Although, as speculor pointed out, the msm agenda was still there in the background. I suppose I can cautiously take a breather and enjoy the interview for what it was.

Good points!

You are surely correct, IMHO. We should pray that his message gets through to Democrats who falsely believe they have no better options.

Guess who

~
Guess who is lefty Rachel Maddow's favorite Republican?

Rush says that the GOP needs to concentrate on teaching???

I agree, I am just not sure who needs to teach them what it means to be a conservative,,,, hehe

They are lost as a party and the Dems will rule the roost for years to come.

In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.

Always remember:
"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." ~ Samuel Adams

Stay IRATE, remain TIRELESS, and set those BRUSH FIRES everywhere you go and in everything

Yeah

I believe education is key, but it sounded ridiculous coming from Rush. He's so out of touch he doesn't think it's important to listen to people? And what's he want to teach people? The importance of hypocrisy? I don't understand why all "leaders" of the republican party are kissing his oxycontin addicted fat white ass.
