AP: Obama Wants Fed To Be Finance Supercop

As if anyone needed further proof that Barack Hussein Obama is like anti-matter (everything he does is exactly opposite of what would be good for America), this AP story published just two hours ago ought to remove all doubt.

Coming at a time when Ron Paul's bill (H.R. 1207) has gained tremendous support, and the "End the Fed!" rallying cry gets louder from all quarters, Obama steps up to say the Fed should be given even greater powers.
Read it and weep.
Obama is going to come out like a big loser
if he sticks with this. I think they are floating this & won't act. But, we'll see.
He may also
be sending a not so subtle message for congress not to support HR 1207. Hopefully, they will keep signing up.

I wonder what happens when Obama lends his reputation to the Fed. Does the Fed gain credibility, or does Obama's reputation take a hit. Either way, he, and congress will eventually be forced to take a position on the HR1207 issue.
If the bill passes the Fed will be audited. If it is voted down, then they will have to answer for it in the next election. We win either way, although the first outcome is preferred.
