We are witnessing the fading of a nation.

A nation that invented the internet, atomic energy and landed the first man on the moon. The sun is setting on the freedoms our founding fathers fought and bled for; those so many years ago. Those freedoms that inspired a world to shake off tyranny and despotism; we where the ripple in the pond, the match for the fire.

We fed the human need for freedom across the world and yet here we are today unable to control our very government.

Unable to prevent unconstitutional wars, laws and deeds; or can we?

History shows that when people join together for a cause above themselves, greater then themselves; for the inherent truth within; in every such instance the truth prevailed and so shale we.

I would like to quote the lyrics of Linkin Park: Shadow of the day and describe the visions I see when listening to this song.

I see America struggling to be safe and understanding the truth; that maybe there isn't a solution to the situations we are in and that we are going to have to say goodbye to the country we all grew up in.

Maybe we should close the book of history that has been our countries path until this tribulation period. Maybe instead of hold on so desperately to a system that is over 250+ years, we say goodbye and chart a new revolution, a new system of government that pulls from the documents of our past but is created within the context of the teachings in freedom developed since then.

Sometime, it feels so damn hard to get up and continue carrying the flag and ideas of freedom and liberty when you have nothing else to offer but you time.

Yet, things are different now; with the economic disparity reaching all over the country. The government and corporations leaving pink slips with flowers; in the hopes that with all their lies you'll still their friends and will continue to play their games. Those that don't see things in black and white are starting to see the gray lining of Revolution; and the people are embracing it! Peaceful if possible, violent if necessary!

I have just read some books on Rome..."I, Claudius" and "Cicero"...I definitely see the similarities of a falling Republic.

Now I am reading "Army of the Republic" by Stuart Archer Cohen and it is a fictional work described as "Thomas Paine meets Rage Against the Machine...read it quick while it is still fiction! "

We could easily take it back but the people are too lazy and comfortable to bother. You never saw a bunch of people with more lame excuses than you can think of. But you know what? I bet they find the time to sit in front of their damned TV for a couple of hours every day! It really pisses me off. There are enough empty precinct positions in both major party's to completely take them over in two months time, but there are no takers willing to sacrifice that one meeting a month to do it. Most every county in the US is just like mine. Of the 500 or so available positions only a third are filled. Did you get that? Two thirds are VACANT. Of the 500+ Meetup members in the area only about 20 are committed enough to donate that one evening a month to get the job done. It's hard to imagine that someone who knows how serious this is, and then goes to the trouble of signing up, will then sit on their ass and do nothing, even if it costs nothing and is easy.
