I really am glad for him and

I really am glad for him and it is nice to hear about the success he have now but as many of the others he started from a low level. This is what I do now and I follow an easysaver program in order to save as much as possible every month and hopefully after some time I will managed to start my own business and I'm really proud of that.

I thought this was great!

TacoJohn, WAY TO GO, buddy!!! You do us proud :-)

Regarding the other commentators, I think they are sloooooooooooowly coming around, but most are correct in their appraisals that at least right now they still "don't get it" as they keep using the top-down scenario regarding "harnessing the internet."

Still, I found their insights interesting and we should take note, especially regarding the final comment concerning "DELEGATES!!!"

These people make my skin crawl...

It seems to me, they use specific language to plant seeds..."Ron Paul's supporters are guilty of..." "In the Ron Paul case..." "Ron Paul Cyberbully"

I wonder what they censored out when that feed came over...I don't think it was coincidence that she was censored mentioning something about federalism and Madison.

That last woman was completely correct...People need to sign up to become Precinct Committee People and try to be delegates in their respective communities. Look it up on your local GOP site.

As Arnold would say...DO IT NOW!

This is great stuff, but the

This is great stuff, but the most important thing that anybody had to say was, ironically enough, coming from that raspy blonde's mouth. The last thing that she said before the end. Here is the final truth: "The way you win is to get delegates in caucuses and primaries. And the question that remains to be seen is for instance whether the Ron Paul campaign, for one, can translate the activity that's going on on the Internet into people actually showing up at caucuses in Iowa or voting in New Hampshire. Because if they can't, none of this really matters."

This is ABSOLUTELY the most important piece of information and truth that came out of this entire thing. We need to pay attention and spread the word that we need to translate our online enthusiasm and the enthusiasm that we show and the numbers that we show at the rallies into DELEGATES so that we can vote our man into office! I have applied to be a delegate in California. Wherever you folks are, find out how to do it and get all your friends and family to do it too. Let's get it done.

PC ...

I'm going to be a precinct committeeman here in AZ and will try to become a delegate as well. How about everyone else? The above poster is absolutely 100% correct--all the special teaparty moneybombs and blimps and everything else cool will not win the nomination--we must infiltrate the system and beat the system at its own game!

I double-dog dare ... no, I TRIPLE-DOG-DARE each and every one reading this to step up to the plate, do the research for your state and take this extra step. TRIPLE-DOG-DARE!!!! :)

WOW! Post a comment…Get on

WOW! Post a comment…Get on Fox. It doesn’t get much better then
that. Go Taco John!

It was said in the video and

It was said in the video and reiterated a bunch of times below, but it can't be said enough so I'll repeat it again: most people just don't "get" the Ron Paul phenomenon. You can't bottle this stuff and rub it on your chosen candidate like a liniment. There is no magic "Internet snake oil." If people latch onto a candidate OF THEIR OWN VOLITION, it will happen. If not, it won't. It can't be instigated. It can't be bought. The only thing that will inspire a movement like this is an HONEST MESSAGE.

Americans are politically lazy, overall, but never let it be said that they don't know BS when they smell it. Any candidate who tries to mimic the Paul campaign is going to be sniffed out pretty quickly; not just by their opponents, but (most importantly) by their supporters. We've seen this with such recent attempts by Huckabee and Thompson, for example, which were less than awe-inspiring, to put it kindly.

Second that, good job John :)

straight from the ugely horses mouth

While smurking at us she told you guys the truth. Can we translate it into delegates when voting time comes. Everybody better (like judge judy says) put on your listening ears. They know that we already have enough people to beat them in the delegate game. I really do believe the media is being held hostage by their bosses. They are trying to tell you what you need to do. They can't just come right out and say it or their fired. Listen to it again she says it in a sarcastic way like the elites always throw their stuff out in a plan way with a twist. Their sick they like to say what their going to do then watch all of us let it go right over our heads and ignore it. Then they all set back and have a big laugh at how the little people are such good little sheep. These people have played this game so long on the American people they have absolutly no fear of the people any more. they think you are a bunch of sheep. They think you need them to survive. We don't need to get any more people to vote for Ron Paul (although that would be nice) We need to get the 75,000 Meetup members we have to become delegates. With 75,000 strong we could all become commiteemen and women and take over the whole Republican party as well in a matter of 1 day. At every level of this game those with the most people win. The GOP is broke. Its like their holding up a picture of a large croud in the window and we are all saying man look at all the people they have when its really one guy holding a sign. They say our sign waving is crazy. LOL! We can do this we just have to get up off our butts and get it done.

Delegates Tally

Is anyone keeping a tally online on the states and number of delegates for RP?

Excellent Job, Taco John!

Thanks for your solid representation of all Ron Paul Supporters when you appeared on Fox News. You did a great job of sliding-in the Blimp and the TeaParty Events!

You also clearly explained to everyone that the internet-based support is not a top-down process. Ron Paul Supporters actually think for themselves and do not need direction from a central authority.

Unbelievable...

Utterly clueless. "Clinton and Romney only put 1 million into their internet campaigns." Excuse me. I can take your grandmother's 4-year old throw-away computer ($0), install Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl, Ruby, Rails, and whatever else you might want ($0), tap into a broadband cable or phone connection (~$60/month) and instantly publish to the world. Why don't people do it for the other candidates? THEY DON'T CARE! The rest of the candidates are not saying anything that anybody wants to hear! It's the message. We'd like to be free people again.

And how do they completely miss the point about the campaign being "bottom up"? Guess what, free people acting of their own free will for a common goal and in their own self-interest...um...works! Get it through your head. It's not a tool. It's not a strategy. It's not a tactic. It's how the world works. It's how the country is supposed to be run--by not being "run." As Dr. Paul says, "I don't want to run your lives. I don't want to run the economy. I don't want to run the world." It's not a "well-run" campaign. It's a "not-run" campaign. It's a message. It's a movement. Wow, you stop micro-managing a campaign and it "just works." Gee, if you'd stop micro-managing people's lives, the economy, and the world, they would all "just work."

And please, "the internet" is not a some magical weapon that, used correctly, can win elections. It's just another medium. It enables communication. That's it. It transports information from point A to point B. It just happens to do it exceedingly well. But it has nothing to do with the mechanism of delivery--it's what is delivered. It has been said that the practice of Zen is a finger pointing at the moon of truth, but that it's important not to mistake the finger for the moon. Some people are so thick-skulled that you have to point with your finger, elbow, foot, shovel, and rake before they realize that the thing you're referring to is not right here, it's over there. It's as ridiculous as if they had looked at whoever is leading and said, "Hey look! He's using television commercials. How is he doing that? What's his secret? He's leading in the polls. Why aren't the other candidates using television commercials as effectively? Who designs them for him? What is it about his commercials that is so effective?" How about the message. Look they're using direct mailings! ...or radio ads, or t-shirts, or bumper stickers, or yard signs, or ... It's like mistaking the flapping of someone's gums or the sounds of the words or the tone of their voice or the volume of their voice for the actual meaning of the words.

It's the message. Hope for America. Freedom. Peace. Prosperity.

Right On

A very good post!

I think we should tell Fox thank-you.

Honestly, they did a longer, non-smearing special and let RP supporters talk, I think it's really good of them.

We should all let FOX know that we respect this type of journalism and encourage them to do more.

Everytime I hear "Ron Paul Blimp"

I chuckle... it's a real "outside the box" idea!

It should be amazing publicity, a BLIMP???!!!
A BLIMP???!!!

Jesus Christ.

You betcha!

Praise Jesus for all the creativity............

Thanks, TacoJohn!

They dont get it

They are making the internet the reason for Ron Paul growth. Ron has told them its the message. they want to make the internet or other things the success because other candidates have to many skeletons in thier closet. When you type in Ron Paul on google tons of positive messages come up. Type in clinton and tons of negivtive messages come up. The internet allows the people to communicate about the truth unbiased by the media. when Taco John was talking that guy did everything he could to muzzle him- dont say to many good things about Ron Paul. The msm are also driving this, people want to be heard and not spoon fed, or interupted when they speak. they should of let Taco John talk and not kept cutting him off. MSM what a joke- they will eventually drive them selves out of buisness because they are nothing more than the national enquirer, its entertainment at best and people more and more know it,

Obama, Clinton and Guiliani

Obama, Clinton and Guiliani can have huge grassroots movements too. All they need to do is spend 30 years proving their staunch, unwavering libertarian credentials while not accepting lobbyist donations. :)

Excellent point

Nothing is stoping the other candidates from having internet success. Last time I checked anyone can post a video on Youtube. Why is it that Ron Paul has the most support?

The MSM can keep calling his supporters crazy all they want. They said the same thing about Matt Drudge. It amazes me how consistently wrong the MSM always is yet nobody dismisses them as crazy.

Nice Work Taco Man

They really are clueless when it comes to Ron Paul and his supporters, but is it really that hard to understand? You take the one honest politician and the hundreds of thousands, hopefully millions, of Americans that are truly concerned with their country and put it all together to form the most amazing Presidential campaign in history!!! We are part of history and I can't wait to see President Paul in the history books. Its good to know there are so many of us who care. You all have my sincere appreciation.

nice work TJ

those folks have no idea what they are talking about.
"harnessing the power of the internet?" puhleez.
The media doesn't seem to get the fact that there is a growing contingency of people out there who don't want to be 'harnessed' or told what to do by the government.

and i hope everyone noticed when the lady at the end said the race comes down to how many delegates each candidate can get. She is totally right.
I sincerely hope that every person on this board who is able to register as a delegate does so. don't waste time... do it now.

Taco John Rocks!

That is all. :)

Fox Staffed By Imbeciles

"The internet"... you are right, the net is made of nothing, if not people.

What a difference

A few months make.

A full segment on Fox about the Ron Paul campaign, and with the guests they had, it was impossible to slag him.

TacoJohn rocks, jacket and tie and all.

The point they missed is that there are no other candidates that are honest enough for citizens to do anything.

Liberty and Freedom are a beacon; not a bullet.

Cyber Bully is their new term

I'm surprised they don't use "Cyber Terrorist" instead of Cyber Bully.

It is amazing how stupid they are. The one girl talking about candidates spending money on the Internet. How much does it cost to put up a website? Throwing money at it isn't going to get you anywhere. You have to have a worthwhile message.

Then Susan Estrich ending on the note about wondering if all these Internet people will bother showing up to vote. It doesn't take a genius to take the leap of faith that all of these enthusiastic supporters are going to get out and vote. Just look at the straw polls. Are these people blind? Who's going to spend all this time online and on the streets and at the rallies and then on voting day stay home? They really miss the point that all of this online stuff has real people behind it. I really think that it is a no brainer to assume that everyone who has donated $100 to the campaign is going to show up and vote. Otherwise it would be throwing money away.

People who use the Internet are normal people. My best clients are the ones who find me over the Internet. It's getting to be that people who don't use the Internet are the strange birds. Isn't it strange when you come across someone who doesn't have an email address? You have to wonder about them.

How many times have I been amazed...

...that these people are nearly totally clueless. Ron Paul did not 'invest in' or 'harness' the internet. Ron Paul spoke the truth, and the internet rose up behind his message. That's why Hillary, Obama, Giuliani, Romney, et al., will fail in their attempts to control this medium. We are beyond their reach. They, however, feel us coming closer everyday. We will win because when people hear the message of freedom, they rise to the task and (by God's grace) take back what is theirs.

GO TACOJOHN!!! Woo!

GO TACOJOHN!!! Woo!

Good Job TacoJohn on calling

Good Job TacoJohn on calling out the RonPaulBlimp.

I don't think I've ever heard the word curfuffle used before.

It's Kerfuffle
