It's just misdirection
He admitted a widely known truth to try and gain our approval while including it in a speech that also bashes 9/11 conspiracies. Bush told us not to believe in "outrageous" conspiracy theories now Barack has. If it is so obvious that Usama Bin Laden was behind it, then why do our presidents find the need to debunk or dismiss these claims. Funny. Don't fall for it.

Last time I check 1st time occurrences qualify as news.

So The CIA admits it, released the documents about it, Madeleine Albright applogized for it, basically on behalf of the American people, why is a big deal that Obama recited something that has be public knowledge for years and is even on the CIA website. Well, in truth, Bush did NOT win
Al Gore got the most votes, hence he was the rightful winner.
Um not according to the COnstitution
The Constitution indicates the President shall be chosen by the electors. It makes no mention of the "popular vote"
Please do not misconstrue, as I think how SCotUS handled Bush v. Gore was all wrong, nevertheless, the popular vote is immaterial.
In my perfect world, the decision would have been thrown to Congress, minus the Floridian delegation. At least then those who would have 'chosen' the President would have been ELECTED members of Congress in lieu of 9 men and women APPOINTED for life.
But 'tis more academic since the grievance has already come and gone.

...how much a "conspiracy theory" it was since the 2000 FoIA request and successful litigation against the CIA, coupled with the publishing of the best-selling book "All the Shah's Men" and that the CIA has had the story up on the CIA.gov website since around 2005.
Tis amazing how things can hide in plain sight. :)
Nevertheless, this is just the type of news that will further elevate Dr. Paul's message of a non-interventionist foreign policy.

I'd say allot of conspiracy theorists went to their grave and friends thought they were nuts 1953 to 2000 is a long time, and Obama announcing it.. well, I'd say it's officially over beccause now everyone who is quilty is dead. And yes, this will further Ron Paul's non-interventionist message. Too bad it didn't break before the election. Too bad it wasn't Bush breaking the news.

...in this same speech he spoke of a "new order" for the world. Merely admitting something which occurred 56 years prior to his ascension to office hardly overshadows his expansion of the war and outsourcing of torture.
