My challenege to someone on the Democrat list of shame

This is an email I am sending to Jim Himes, one of the Democrats on the list of shame for apparently not wanting to get involved with HR 1207...

"Mr. Himes:

This is more about The Federal Reserve than anything else. I do not know if you know of Congressman Ron Paul of Texas. Well he is the Republican Doctor looking to do an examination if you will...OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE.

He has come up with a bill to look at the goings on of the Fed. And if that investigation were to be don, well it would be ugly for the Fed, which prints out money that is now worthless..not even the paper it's printed on. It is HR1207; a similar bill is going through the Senate with the unlikely co-sponsors of Senators Jim DeMint (R-SC) and Bernie Sanders (I/Socialist-VT).

From Congressman Paul's Campaign For Liberty site is the gist of the bill...

"Title: To amend title 31, United States Code, to reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States and the manner in which such audits are reported, and for other purposes.

Sponsor: Rep Paul, Ron [TX-14] (introduced 2/26/2009) Co-sponsors (282)
Latest Major Action: 2/26/2009 Referred to House committee. Status: Referred to the House Committee on Financial Services."

See the number 282? That's a coalition of Democrats and Republicans joining Dr. Paul in wanting an audit of the fed. Two of you cohorts, Mr. Murphy and Mr. Courtney, are SO FAR, the only CT reps to join in. You sir in fact are on a Democrat list of shame for not wanting this audit to take place. Again from C4L:

http://www.dailypaul.com/...

"26 * Rep. John Larson [D CT-1]
27 * Rep. Rosa DeLauro [D CT-3]
28 FC** Rep. James Himes [D CT-4]"

And by the letters FC, you are on the financial committee. What is it about you sir not willing to invest your name in wanting the fed investigated? Are you on someone's payroll or something?

Matter of fact Fed Chair Bernanke was a quaking in his boots at a recent hearing. Check out this interview by talk radio phenom Alex Jones with Dr. Paul in which he drives Big Bad Ben nuttier than a fruitcake!

http://www.youtube.com/wa...

Also, according to a Rasmussen poll, 75% agree that the fed SHOULD be audited...

http://www.rasmussenrepor...

Also may I suggest looking at this...

http://www.dailypaul.com/...

The number of co-sponsors is important. If the number hits 290, it becomes veto-proof, provided it gets by the fascist enablers Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi!

Mr. Himes, I DEMAND YOU, please join Dr. Paul as a part of this revolution. Or are you always at the beck and call of that fascist witch Pelosi?

Make the right choice, or it's my vote AGAINST YOU!"

By the by, this is my first post here.

Think I may know why Rush Holt is Silent on the Bill

Did some digging and what I found were a few things.
Also has received from Moveon.or $47,252 over his and Moveon.org has ties to Rockefeller when in 1999 Larry Rockefeller, a New York environmental attorney and heir to the Rockefeller fortune was recruited. We also all know that Soros bankrolls Moveon.org...no wonder Holt is silent on HR1207!!!!!!

Castor and Meek were targeted on Thursday

Liberty_Mike will be back by then but he might let me organize it on Wednesday for the remaining Florida targets. Monday is Wisconsin and Tuesday I'm leaning toward the House leadership.

I'm looking at states that are close to being 100%. Mississippi is now 100% thanks to Rep Bennie Thompson signing on and I targeted Indiana Kansas on Friday because they are close as well. Colorado only has one left and she'll be included on Tuesday's FIREMISSION.

When a state delegation gets down to one or two holdouts it's much easier to get them on board when they know the rest of their delegation has cosponsored.

Sounds like a good plan

we are getting close to that at least, 19 on board, 6 to go...so 2/3 of FL, not bad...

Check out Ron Kind D- WI We MUST help protect the Fed

Dear Adam:

Thank you for contacting me about the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009, H.R. 1207. I appreciate hearing from you on this issue.

The Federal Reserve System serves as the central bank of the United States. The Federal Reserve itself is an independent agency that formulates the nation's monetary policy, supervises and regulates banks, and provides financial services to depository instituations and the federal government. The entity is comprised of the presidentially appointed Board of Governors, the Federal Open Market Committee, and twelve regional privately-owned Federal Reserve banks located in major cities throughout the nation.

The Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009, H.R. 1207, would audit the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal Reserve banks. Although I have consistently supported greater transparency in government, I also believe that the Federal Reserve plays a key role as a non-partisan agency, and it should be protected from excessive political and industry pressures. Now more than ever, we must support the Federal Reserve's mission and the current measures being taken to help our ailing economy. H.R. 1207 has been sent to the House Financial Services Committee for review. If it comes before the full House for a vote, I will be sure to keep your thoughts in mind.

Again, thank you for contacting me. Please do not hesitate to be in touch with additional comments or concerns. I also encourage you to visit my website, www.kind.house.gov, where you can find updated information, sign up to receive my electronic newsletter, and send me e-mail.

Sincerely,

Ron Kind
Member of Congress

Needed: Congresscritters Reelection Dates

I would like to see the reelection dates for these congresscritters next to their names.

House Critters are all up

House Critters are all up for reelection every two years.

Only one third of the Senate Critters are up for reelection every two years.

They are divided between three classes. Class I, Class II and Class III

This is why reelection dates are on the Senate lists and not on the House lists.

Hope this helps.

http://www.senate.gov/ref...

class - Article I, section 3 of the Constitution requires the Senate to be divided into three classes for purposes of elections. Senators are elected to six-year terms, and every two years the members of one class—approximately one-third of the Senators—face election or reelection. Terms for Senators in Class I expire in 2013, Class II in 2015, and Class III in 2011.
