Call the FED Lobbyist Linda L. Robertson

The Enron lobbyists gang should be under investigation, not lobbying for the Fed.

I think it's good to put a face on the enemy.

The enemy? Yes.

Meet Linda L. Robertson
The FED has just hired her to spearhead the lobbying effort to stop the Audit of the FED.
This is the same lady who lobbied for Enron in 2001.
A little background:
----------------------------------------------
Quote:

Sen. Phil Gramm

Texas senator received $101,350 in Enron contributions since 1989;
pushed through the Commodity Futures Modernization Act,
which further deregulated energy commodity trading,
allowing Enron to operate an unregulated power auction
that quickly gained control over a significant share of California’s electricity and natural gas market.
----------------------------------------------
The Commodity Futures Modernization Act (CFMA) of 2000.
This was the act that gave us the "Enron Loophole," which took specific types
of energy trading outside the regulatory authorities' reach.
Beyond setting the stage for Enron’s spectacular failure,
this piece of legislation had immense repercussions
towards allowing the Credit Default Swap (CDS) market.

One little sheet of paper…one legally-bribed Phil Gramm…and a handful of Enron lobbyists
(the lobbyists actually wrote the bill’s language)
paved the way ultimately for a deregulated meltdown and consequent theft
of the US Treasury to pay off the CDS policy-holders.

Mark - Treasury just minutes ago sent this compromise language to the CEA bill to Gramm’s staff.
It is my understanding from Treasury that the swap exemption is expanded slightly
to say that if you are trading on a facility (MTF) and you are trading on principle-to-principle basis
you are no longer subject anti-fraud and anti-manipulation as contained in Sec. 107 of the House passed legislation.
This would be good for us. Ken is in London, so can you take a quick look at the attached language and tell me if you concur.

Also, we need to take a look at the new Sec. 4 to see if it causes any problems.

They may cut a deal as early as this afternoon!

Thanks - Chris

This little lady is one of the clever ones that greased it.
She knew its language and intent intimately. She helped write it.

She (and her bosses at John Hopkins University)... are going to get phone calls.
It's IMPORTANT to rip the sheets off of these snakes right at the beginning
and let them KNOW we DESPISE what they are doing
their "behind the scenes" work against transparency
and the PEOPLE of the United States.....

WE ARE WATCHING and know EXACTLY who they are.
Call her.... and leave a message of disgust.
I did... just spoke to her staff person... hah hah...
"What institution are you with?... Who are you again?" I loved it!!

This is proof that the Federal Reserve secrecy is CANCER....

And that means CANCER to everybody, because it's secrecy is bullshit.....

http://www.apfn.org/apfn/...

So the Enron lobbyists are back, hence they were all connected to the same scheme, the Federal Reserve monopoly.....

The whole thing should be broken up in the courts......Let's lift the hood on the Federal Reserve.

The lesson to be learned

The lesson to be learned from all of this is that we need Government That Works, not deregulation. To get to that result we need to be prepared to pay higher taxes so we can afford to attract the best and brightest people to work in the regulatory agencies.

Love the sarcasm!

!

Fed failed to regulate

Are you kidding? The Fed failed to use their existing regulatory powers, and they broke the regulatory guidelines by issuing "23A" exemption letters.

We have centralized issuance of money and credit. Let's deregulate and allow the free market and free choice to create competing currencies.

thanks

.

Please Read The Letter

and sign the Petition if you agree. I know it reflects very much how I feel.

Bank of America..........

A MAC clause is a condition to the buyer’s completion of an acquisition that there has been no material adverse change to the business of the target since a preset date typically, the date of the target’s last financial statements. The term MAC clause has been in the news lately and some wonder just what it means. In lay terms, if one company wants to buy another company, and something happens to the value of the company being bought (stock fluctuations, for instance), the purchasing party can protect themselves from it. Bank of America, for instance, threatened Merrill Lynch with a MAC clause because of the toxic assets they held, in order to get a lower price, as the risk was more than any online cash advance could cover.
