Ron Paul has stated there was much that was omitted by the 9/11 report and we do not know the whole truth. I agree. That makes us "Truthers"

Ron Paul said that almost all of our wars have been based on lies. That is the truth. He and I agree on that. We are "Truthers"

Finally, just as Ron Paul listened to the 31,000 plus scientists who spoke out against global warming, I look at the peer reviewed evidence that refutes the "official" story about what brought down the buildings. Much of this peer reviewed evidence was not public during the primaries last year.

I do not claim to know how he would react to these structural and chemical engineers, architects, physicists, and others new evidence, but I am confident he would stand by his statement there should be a new investigation, and that this new evidence makes a new investigation even more warranted.

You do not have to have a theory, conspiracy or other, to want to know the truth. I would hope truth is something all of us can agree we want and need.

of this post functions as propaganda. Paul supporters are defined as those who believe the official story of 9/11. 9/11 Truthers are portrayed as an outside group which follows Alex Jones. They are referred to by the epithet "Inside Jobbers."

Well Danorino I don't know what universe you are living in, but since my involvement with this movement and Ron Paulites - riding in the RP Limo, attending the R4R, other rallies, meetups, etc.- I cannot ever recall meeting an RP supporter who actually believed the official story of 9/11! Every Ron Paul supporter I've ever met was either a serious full blown 9/11 Truther or at least an honest questioner. Thus, the premise of this post is a work of fiction and propaganda.

As regards Alex Jones, the post tries to conflate a rejection of the obviously false official story with being a sycophantic follower of the loud-mouthed radio host. Once again, in my experience most RP supporters are not devotees of Jones. Most have expressed doubts about some of his claims. Yet, many RP supporters, myself included, first heard about the obscure Texas Congressman through Jones' promotion and interviews of Ron Paul.

I can certainly understand someone accepting the official version of 9/11 and being an RP supporter. What I cannot understand is an attitude of intolerance for anyone asking questions, and the use of propaganda techniques to demoralize, neuter, or further marginalize the RP faithful.

For the moment, lacking any documentary evidence, I will have to accept the quite possibly false premise that you Danorino are an actual, sincere RP supporter and not a paid disinfo operative. Yet, even so, can't we just agree to disagree and move on? You Danorino should want this as you are in the minority here.

I then examined what I based this belief on, mainly three things.

1. The 911 commission report: After researching Zelikow and the process by which the report was constructed, coupled with the numerous individuals in a better position than myself to question its voracity, I no longer accept this as "the explanation".

2. My own eyes: I saw planes fly into those buildings and assumed a plane must have struck the pentagon as well. It has since occurred to me that I couldn't go into a Taco Bell and steal a packet of fire sauce without being video taped. But, the government would have us believe that a jumbo jet flew into the pentagon and we didn't get a single frame of video evidence. I was talking with a friend the other night and he thinks I'm crazy. He said he saw the video of the plane hitting the pentagon. I asked him to find that video for me and his reply was "well maybe I didn't see it but I thought..."

3. We are good, they are bad: If Ron Paul has done anything positive for me personally, it's to learn to question my beliefs on power vs. the people.

There are numerous holes in the governments 911 theory which leads to the need for more scrutiny.
That's pretty much it. I can't say if 911 was an inside job but I believe there are enough legitimate questions by experienced professionals that to thwart any attempt to answer such questions makes one wonder, as Dr. Paul said, "what's going on here"?

I don’t like giving them a bump. What is up with all of the treads on this subject lately? What is the point, it is one thing when a truther post new info and subsequently attacked but so many people (trolls) are starting posts on the subject? Can someone start a new thread and answer that. I just don’t understand what they get out of it.
I am not a truther by choice, but by circumstance. Leave me alone with my own genuine loss on 911 and allow me to search for answers without attack.
Ron Paul believes in individuals and as such we have our own minds, of which he encourages us to use, and NEVER tells us what to think.
So being a truther is more Ron Paul like then you telling us what to think.
When you lose a family member and there is blatant evidence contradicting the official story, and officials will not answer you, then you come back to me and tell me how you handled it, until then you are of no consequence.

I don't believe in the official 9/11 Commission Report myself.

How can you be opposed to people trying to find answers ? They do no harm, and I support them in their effort to get their questions answered.

I have been on this site fairly actively for two years. I do not recall you posting a blessed thing until all of these divisive threads. The facts as I know them, say you are not doing a service to the group.

Please focus on talking about what you think is important as opposed to continuously harping on folks who have rational-man questions regarding 9/11.

Although I agree that "blowback" does occur from our dealings overseas, I am SURE that blowback doesnt come in the form of Magic, capable of bringing down steel and concrete buildings with nothing left standing.

I have been in the construction industry for 16 years, and I have an idea of how those buildings should have collapsed from impact and fire, if at all.

The concrete would have separated from the steel because of the expansion difference. The concrete, having little tensile strength, and relying on the steel rebar for nearly all of its tensile performance would crack and the weight of it would pull it down around the steel columns. The steel columns, because there was no lateral movement, would remain full height...(it could be argued that up at the 80th floor where the plane went through that the steel would be removed...ok, I wount argue aluminum vs steel and concrete right now...by the way, when they test a missle hitting a wall,what material do they use? Answer concrete reinforced with steel, a runway is 18" of concrete also)

If the building had tipped from impact (impossible) and fell over, there would be a little better argument, but a building falling in on itself takes skill. Otherwise, they would just light all those old buildings in Vegas on fire.
And for it to happen three times?

All of this info, coupled with the FACT that the U.S. has created false flag operations before, makes me question what happened.

Heres a scenario (this may please everyone)
The U.S. picks up chatter that "Arabs" are planning on flying four planes into WTC 1, 2, 7, and Pentagon. So they close down floors of the buildings (they were closed for unscheduled maintenance) set up explosives and wait.
during this wait, they go to the Brits and ask "how can we sell a war with Iraq to the American people http://downingstreetmemo....
Then WTC 1 is hit, WTC 2 is hit, Pentagon is hit, then the people on board of 93 take over control of the plane (lets roll), the plane goes off of its intended path, WTC 7, so it is shot down http://www.flight93crash....
so WTC 7 only burns,
then finally, since a huge insurance policy was taken out on WTC http://whatreallyhappened...

The bombs in the buildings, the standing down of NORAD, the PNAC reports, and the whereabouts of the VP are the meat and potatoes for those of us who have been awake forawhile and are able to process this information.

But this post makes NO kind of sense. You'd be hard pressed to find a Truther who isn't a die-hard Ron Paul supporter. Likewise... the overwhelming majority of the official story believing, braindead, waste of American citizenship, 9/11 deniers... have no idea who Ron Paul is. And that is a fact.

Understandably, we have great patiotic RP supproters (here on DP and elsewhere) who are not "Truthers". And to you fine Americans I say, "keep up the good work, and stay the course. But please familiarize your with 9/11 material which is easily found...and spread the word. And show no fear"

What I would like to know is how anyone that supports Ron Paul and the cause of Liberty would even think of attempting to suppress anothers viewpoint. It should be discussed and if you say you are a supporter of Ron Paul then you would also agree that Freedom of Speach is one of the founding principles of Liberty. So either you are confused or you have lost the meaning of what Ron Paul has talked about so many times. The prime mission is to restore Liberty and that includes putting up with other viewpoints. This discussion is so polarizing that it defeats the purpose of Restoring Liberty. I don't think it can be anymore simpler than that. No one is asking you to believe or read posts that you find offensive. You have to click the mouse to read the posts and if you find a particular subject offensive you and you alone have the control of your system to not click on those subjects. So exercise your right to not read what you find offensive but if you attempt to sensor anothers viewpoint then you are definetly at the wrong site.

All that is necessary to prove that is the complete and utter destruction of WTC Buildings 1, 2, and without a doubt 7. Just give one plausible explanation as to how WTC7 fell. C'mon all you "non-truthers" it shouldn't be that hard to come up with one scenario or reason as to why the 47 story steel skyscraper crumbled to the ground in 7 seconds. The thing is I don't call myself a "truther" or anything of the sort, I am someone who has taken an objective view on the facts of 9/11 and made an informed decision as to which story I thought was more plausible. If you haven't realized 9/11 was an inside job yet, then you haven't done enough homework or critical thinking!
