Yes, this was a known mistake that was addressed the same day. There was a mistake on the list of members who had not already cosponsored. The list has been corrected.
Question
When asked for our address, how are we handling it? I called the Florida Congressman and went the honest route. I live in Orlando, not South Florida and am very active and would love to see him support this bill. Your feedback please.

Perhaps you could say "although you no longer live in his district, you will be sure to inform your family and friends that do still live there". I see no harm in a little fib. I think they lie to us plenty!!

I am not sure if I understand your message Liberty Mike, but according to the list I believe Leonard Lance signed on to co-sponsor HR-1207 on 5/11/09. I am in his district. I had sent him an e-mail in April, so I hope it is correct that he is already a co-sponsor.

So, as of now, I think we have contacted all the remaining republicans. I was thinking about going back and targeting some of the finance committee dems who haven't yet signed on, unless anyone has any particular requests. Also, Cactus, could you please post the list of remaining committee members if you read this??

Lincoln Diaz-Balart.
Congressman Diaz-Balart's brother is also a south Florida Congressman and just signed on. We think this increases our chances he may be a great target. We also presume fellow Florida Congressman Grayson is working on him when he sees him as he has been doing just that every day in Congress for us. If we can get this excellent candidate signed on, that would bring us from 17 to 18 of 25 Reps in Florida so 7 to go with the good doctor coming to visit us in Orlando in just 42 days. Adding one of the last 7 every 6 days would bring us to 100%. Aim high, right? ;-)
