How many people within the freedom movement?
Submitted by sambachico on Sat, 06/27/2009 - 00:48
I've been pondering lots today, and i was curious if anyone has an idea of the following.
- How many people are active within the Freedom movement
- How many people do you think are now independent on a national scale?
- How many people attended tea parties in April?
- How many expected on July 4th?
Reason being is that we need to find a way to mobilize our forces. We are so spread out, disorganized. C4L has made somewhat of an attempt to get more organized, but feels pointless sometimes.
I'm looking for ways to continue the revolution by somehow coming up with ways to actually get people together, to work together. I think one of the things thats seriously lacking is sign-making and getting political now. The tea parties show us that people are wanting to mobilize and be active. These small C4L meetings seem pointless, in fact sometimes you feel more powerless. We need to get active to spread the message of liberty. Lots of neo-cons who are anti-Obama are ripe for the message right now. I've also now heard locally on my radio station about the obama deception through a commercial.
Who here has some ideas towards this? Unless we can organize ourselves, we are doomed to let the powers that be trample on us further. Suggestions please. Of course, some of this will take money, but I think lots of this can be done by people just willing to contribute, who are incredibly angry.

I more or less expected this.
However, I have yet to stop fighting for liberty. I have been thinking about new ways to influence the population during the the off-election-season. That's why I created the-new-is.com I plan on adding more features. But for now, it's totally functional. Check it out, and start influencing people.
The new is the Daily Paul.

good post
I believe nobody left completely. It may be until the next election, but you better believe once the current douchebag falls flat on his face, the entire country will be ripe for our message.
The good news is, we as a whole are much more experienced. Ron Paul was my first dip in the pond and I dont plan on getting out.
I have complete faith that this platform will win our government back. There are alot of apathetic Americans but our message will continue to grow. The cat is out of the bag, the genie is out of the bottle. There is no going back.
We lost with Capn' Trade today. We have yet to be able to claim a victory. If we can just get Rand, Schiff or win 1207 it will fire up the base. Imagine the bragging rights... We would WIN.
That is powerful.
How many of us are there? Who knows. We continue to grow. We continue to educate ourselves and others. We continue to call our reps. When the time comes. We will win.
Dont give up. Its a mountain we are up against. We will reach the other side, revolutions take time.
Eternal vigilance is the price of Liberty...

About 2.2 million people voted for Ron Paul in the primaries.
....And in most states that was only registered Republicans.
I live in a closed state. In my small area we had about 300 Ron Paul supporters in 4 Ron Paul meet-up groups. Unfortunately many Libertarians, Constitution party members, and un-registered wouldn't re-register as Republicans, because of Mr. Bush's policies.
This hurt Ron Paul, but in my opinion 2.2 million is still a large number considering all the neo-con Republicans opposed Ron Paul.
I bet many of them are sorry now.
I suggest we start to organize a 2012 Presidential run for Ron Paul right now, with meet-up groups.
beesting
How many people do you
The majority of Americans are Independents...because they don't vote. Fewer than 100 million people voted in the last presidential election, in a nation that---I believe the 2010 census will confirm---has roughly 350 million citizens.

Are you sure all those 350
Are you sure all those 350 million are legal American citizens? I can think of at least one living on Pennsylvania Ave.. in DC who may not be. lol
