What if Sarah Palin reached out to Ron Paul?

Ron Paul lives in each and everyone of us, if we are true students of the principals of Freedom.

McCain sounds un-intelligent and so does Palin -- So, it really came down to Jimmy Jowels (sympathy vote) and Hot Mom (hotness vote).

Why is this even a question (Paul and Palin)? It's not logical.

She has to run for the Presidency -- she can't go Veep again. She'd look like the rebound girl, otherwise.

Ron needs a strong name next to him. Schiff might turn a few heads -- how's his stock-gold pick record? Whomever it is they must be beyond reproach.

Paul - Napolitano (2nd only to Stossel -- Ron needs some "youth")?

Let's get Stossel onto the Talk Radio Circuit for the next 2 - 2/12 years and have Ron announce him "early" as his Veep (wherein Stossel would need to quit Radio and T.V).

While Sarah Palin is no Ron Paul, she is much better than Mitt Romney...who commentators have all but given him the 2012 nomination. We need to undercut that neocon flip flopper Romney ASAP before he gains any steam.

She is obviously leaving office so she can earn millions in speaking fees and book deals. I'm a capitalist so I don't hold that against her, but we shouldn't look to her for principled, selfless leadership.

But I was completely blind 4 years ago to the true rulers of this country. It is hard to support a woman who used her daughter’s pregnancy and marched her and the poor boy on a world wide stage for political posturing. Then her daughter said on national T.V. that abstinence was unobtainable and I had to applaud her in speaking the truth. Then she came out (under instructions of mother I am sure) and is now the spokesperson for abstinence? This simply shows that she will use her own family members for political gain, regardless of the example set for her younger daughter. Had Palin refused McCain’s proposal under the basis that she was a small government conservative, and not pandered to the ever diminishing far right, then I would say "you go girl", but in this instance I think she is used goods.

I've never heard her say anything interesting or smart about anything. She seems to be a pretty face who shakes a lot of hands and makes quirky speeches about nothing.

She has nothing to offer intellectually to our movement in terms of leadership or representation...

Sarah Palin, the former Vice Presidential candidate has been making news since the election, most of it not really noteworthy. However, now there's some Sarah Palin news that's at least worth a little attention. She has announced that she will resign her post as Governor of Alaska. There hasn't been a reason given specifically as to why she has resigned the post as Alaska Governor, but it's rumored that she's doing it to concentrate on being the frontrunner for the 2012 Republican Candidate, and she's probably also looking into some instant payday loans for campaign funding. Sarah Palin is loved by some, detested and ridiculed by others, and secured loans for a 2012 Presidential run might not be ill spent.

Before she even was mentioned as a possibility, I was lobbying on this forum for her to be Dr. Paul's VP. However, that was before she hit the media spotlight. She just absolutely does NOT have the media skills to campaign on a national level. Every time I saw her she came across like a complete idiot. She quickly fell into the politician's trap of just not giving honest answers, and when she didn't know something she would just make something up, causing her to look ridiculous. It really turned me off to her. But let's face it: when she became McInsane's running mate, even if she DID share a lot of Paul's views, she would have been drawn and quartered by the media and her own party for voicing them. If you're a freedom lover (which I'm not sure sure she is, anymore) then it's difficult to talk honestly about it when you're the running mate of somebody like McCain.

Sarah Palin's IQ is on Par with Dan Quayle. She can't even answer a simple question about her beliefs.

She is too dumb to be President or Vice President. If Congressman Paul wants to play the hot girl ticket as a running mate (which was Palin's strongest asset) then he should tap Michelle Bachmann, who is hot AND intelligent.

I've never really understood all the Sarah Palin hate around here. I think that she has pretty solid conservative credentials (not neo-conservative).
