Love these guys

Adam is amazing! But Rand Paul is a chip off the old block and that's pretty cool, too.

I agree

Both guys are great.

I agree that Rand has to

I agree that Rand has to bring the fire and enthusiasm like Adam. People are always more willing to support someone who outwardly appears to have a strong sense of confidence and conviction with relation to his/ her respective message.

Didn't know I was part of

Didn't know I was part of the 'Leave Me Alone' coalition!

I am about to say something

embarrassingly trivial, but I think appearance and style are important for candidates, even though the ideas are paramount.

If any of Rand's people are reading the comments here, please consider helping him spiff up just a tad. Anyone can have an off day, but part of his dad's charm that takes him far, even when his ideas aren't accepted: RP smiles and means it. That is important. Also please excuse me for saying Rand's hair needs an objective evaluation. Unfortunately these things make a difference to voters.

Rand is Rand! He puts on no

Rand is Rand! He puts on no show for the camera... He takes no Tele-Prompter or notes for that matter to the speeches. We all can't be a certain formula. We must remember Rand is fairly new to politics and will progress as this develops, it's still early.

Rnd Paul and Ninth Amenment

The Ninth Amenment which is described as their favorite, was never ruled upon by the Supre Court until 1963 in striking down a Connecticut anti-contraception statute. I t was used again in 1965 in striking down the same statutue without rgard to the marital status of the parties. It was used again striking down a Georgia pornography statute, in 1973 for striking down a Texas anti-abortion statute, and again 2002 in striking down a Texas staute forbidding homosexual sodomy.

There is not a single line in the Federalist papers, the Constitutional debates, any of the anti-federalist criticisms, Madison's notes norr any of the other relevant materials relating to the intent of the framers of the constition as to what rights to which they could be referring. It was his reference to the Ninthe Amendment as basically an "inkblot" that got judge Bork in such difficulty. It was only after this statement that public opinon poll turned solidly against him, and probably led his his defeat in the Senate. Agreat Amendment for Paul and Koresh to be so fond of!!

Rand Paul for Senate.

.

That is super cool

Two men I adore. Adore!!!!

Adam is rockin me! I'm loving him

Rand should honor his wife or STFU because it is VERY uncool to not put your woman way way up there.. unless it's true, she's an idiot, and then it reflects on him again...lest he be a Mr Shiavo (Boo).

But Adam Adam Adam... when are you coming to Mendo?

Such harsh

words in this case do not seem warranted.

What harsh words?

My acronym STFU, or Rand saying some very mean spirited and bad jokes about his wife that I was ashamed for him? Had Ron Paul said anything like that publically about Carol, I wouldn't vote for him, I don't care how "perfect" he is otherwise.

If I was Mrs. Rand Paul I would wonder what was WRONG, because men don't talk like that about their wives when they are not seeking a friend. I'm freaked about what he said... bad jokes. Good jokes are based on truth, so either Rand is a liar or an idiot to talk about his wife like that?

It's NOT ok. It's NOT funny.

Now Adam.... he has come a long way in a very fst amount of time.. I am proud of him.

you are clearly overreacting

you are clearly overreacting and what he said wasn't mean spirited at all. Calm down and breathe for a minute, it is going to be ok.

or maybe it's an

inside joke that you don't get. I assumed that she would probably laugh when she heard that. Why do we always have to assume the worst. I don't know, but I get the impression he has a great relationship with his wife, after all he did shorten his name from Randy to Rand because she liked it (not legally - that would be weird - but what he goes by). I hope people will 'get' his style, because he is very intellegent and would be a great voice for our liberty's.

Don't jump to conclusions about a joke - It may not be funny to you, but what really isn't funny are the jokes we have in the senate - and we clearly don't know the background story.
