This is a great video and Maher makes great points, and a really good sLimebaugh joke. It is so strange to me though, that very intelligent people like Bill Maher, who have the outlet and the balls to tackle tough subjects in a public arena just ignore so many of the root causes of the problems he singles out. Sure, recruiters are trying to lure your children into service, and it's good to see someone call them out, but why is he not pushing harder, the ideas of non-interventionist foreign policy. If you dont want your kids to go to war, attack the policies that have been implemented in sending them in the first place. The recruiters are just a small tool in the bag, what we need to do is to throw away the WHOLE toolbag and replace it with one that has the appropriate tools to change the way we approach foreign policy.
I just can't help but think that Maher has, hidden deep inside, a part of him that is a lover of liberties and of the Constitution.
maybe he just doesn't know it yet. :)
He could be a great ally if he could just wake up... all the way.

Yeah, I think everyone should see this video. Although Maher has some pretty far left views, he does say some things that make perfect sense! Regardless if you like the guy's opinions or not, you have to admit he is hilarious!

Maher has such talent, I'm hoping he wakens fully. He could be a force if he weren't a slave to the MSN masters.
