Daily HR 1207 phone/email/fax bomb!!! 7/1/09

We need a little "Shock and Awe" to get our representatives to commit themselves to support transparency of the Fed.

I send Senator Bill Nelson the following email yesterday:

Dear Senator Bill Nelson,

Tomorrow, July 04, 2009, is Independence Day. I will celebrate it but I know our Independence is slowly but surely fading away.

Your Bio states: "A fifth-generation Floridian, Nelson was born in Miami on Sept. 29, 1942, and educated in Melbourne's public schools. He served his country as a captain in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1971, both on active duty and in the Reserve. He has been married to his wife, Grace, since 1972 and has two grown children, Nan Ellen and Bill Jr".

Senator, I served 22 years in the US Air Force, both on active duty and the Air National Guard. Three of my seven children were born here in Florida while I was stationed at Patrick AFB.

I urge you to stay on the right side of history and co-sponsor S. 604. As you know, Congress does not have control of the money supply. The Congress has abdicated its responsibility and made itself irrelevant when it comes to appropriating money for the most part. The Federal Reserve prints and disperses money without one vote or oversight from the Congress.

You stood up against the TARP and gained a lot of respect from your constituents for doing so. I ask you to please stand up once again and support the Transparency bill that will help return control of our money supply to the Congress. Do it for your constituents, your country, and Nan and Bill Jr.

We respectfully request that a hearing of this bill should be scheduled, because WeThePeople know that this secretive banking group has too much power and lack of oversight. There is no transparency at all.

Congressman Frank promised to have a hearing for this bill, but to date there has been no movement towards a vote in the House.

As a member of the House Financial Services Committee, please do what you can to expedite this important issue.

is my non- representative in Washington. I have emailed him at least 50 times about HR-1207. He dosen't listen to or acknowledge me. I live in the part of NYC where Ackerman is a part of the old globalist political machine that ignores decent and avoids political confrontation while pushing foward with his political agendas.

I am on his email list that is all about bigger and bigger government. Just yesterday he emailed an opinion poll about Obama's Health Care Plan wanting to know how I prefer to be robbed. There wasn't an option for "NO" THANK YOU in the opinion poll. I emailed him back telling him to let the constitution be your guide, stop spending money that is not yours and are not entitled to spend, and of course above all else, that he needs to support HR 1207. I bet just like his poll, if it is not in his agenda, he couldn't care less about what I think. To him we are just road kill.

I will give/donate/pledge $100 to the C4L if Ackerman co-sponsers HR-1207! Only because I've given up.

Just called both of them at ALL of the offices. Seems like we are losing speed on this one. What can we do to get more cosponsors? We only need 40 more.

with congressmans Meeks office they are pasing the buck to this phone # 202-226-3632 and you get a recorded meesage lets call it and fill it up.

I'm thinking we need to target the actual committee itself very soon about the hearing. I was thinking tomorrow or Friday. Any opinions? I can get the contact info for the committee and post it, but if anyone can make a good flier about having a hearing that we could fax them, that would be excellent!

As you may know, HR 1207 was introduced in Congress by Rep. Ron Paul of Texas on February 26, 2009. This bill allows for the Federal Reserve to be audited by the United States Comptroller General.
I am sure you share the concerns of not only your constituents, but all of the American people over the current economic crisis. Also, I am sure that you understand performing an audit of the Federal Reserve will allow for the American people and government to better understand the decisions and policies that were made by the Federal Reserve which were a major contributor to this financial crisis. To ensure this does not happen again in the future, I know you will take your constitutional duty to oversee monetary and fiscal policy with great seriousness to the benefit all Americans. I look forward to seeing you as a cosponsor of HR 1207. Thanks!
