As someone who is doing vaccine research, I agree with you 100% that if it past phase 3 clinical trial, the vaccine do work. However, that is not what it is about. It is about can we trust the government. Can we trust those who are in power? Can people trust that there is nothing else been done to that vaccine. Would people trust the establishment to give them the same vaccine that the people in the clinical trial get. If they don't they have the right to refuse it. I want that right too.

It's not about whether the vaccinations work or not. It's an issue of not wanting the government to interfere with personal medical decisions. Why should I have to get a shot of because some bureaucrat thousands of miles away says that I have to? That decision should be left up to me. It doesn't matter if you or the government don't understand or agree with my reasons, the only person who gets to decide what goes in my body is ME.

If the government declares martial law on the whole country and then attempts to force vaccinations on everyone you can kiss your second amendment goodbye. Gun Confiscation is part of the whole game, quit whining about gun laws and 1st and 4th amendments, they're all gone when they declare martial law, remember Katrina? And did you bother to measure the side effects on thyroid productions, T-cell production, and liver production in these cases?

The freedom of choice is what we're about. That's fine if you think vaccines work, then vaccinate. I love your facts about animals. Hopefully that directly applies to humans...

& there are many others. I've been studying vaccines for my 2 children. I chose not to get them the Rotavirus vaccination, nor the flu, nor several others. We're following the same vaccination schedule I had in 1983. Since '83 there are now 20+ new vaccines that we're injecting our kids with.

Currently, the uSA leads the world in Autism with 1/150 children. Our infant mortality rate is 7.8 (per 100,000) ranking us 34th out of 200 countries in the world. We're also #1 in # of vaccinations at 48 by age 6.

So if you want to vaccinate - go ahead - but I choose freedom of choice & will not bow to every govt demand / request but will allow Common Sense & Facts to guide my decisions.

If someone comes up with a cure for cancer, should the government have the authority to force it upon those who do not want it? And more importantly, those that have not contracted it?

Because in my opinion, this is what is being proposed. A "treatment' (possibly) for the flu. Should I be forced to take it even though I don't have the flu?

There is no single virus that causes the flu; there is no one flu vaccine that protects against all of them.

And the vaccine manufacturers routinely get their predictions wrong thus giving you a useless flu shot.

Of course, it really does boil down to "Having the right to REFUSE vaccination for myself and/or my children". I say I do have that right...

The freedom to choose must be retained. There are pros and cons to vaccinations, and it needs to be left up to individuals whether or not they choose to use vaccines. Personally, as a child, I had mumps, chicken pox, 3 day measles, I sustained no lasting problems because of the sicknesses (by the way, these sicknesses used to be thought of as normal childhood illnesses) and I am a very healthy adult. My main concern is the reliance has become so strong on the vaccines, that people don't commonly know how to treat when/if the vaccines should fail and people become sick. For instance, at some point, since the flu viruses keep mutating, the vaccines will no longer be able to control it, what will people do at that point? Will they have the common sense needed to survive? There is so much emphasis on meds these days, it seems people have forgotten the human body is designed to heal when given the proper care, and nourishment. I have read true accounts where the vaccines themselves caused cancer. Also as I posted on another thread, some people have extreme reactions to the vaccines, because of intestinal conditions-these people are at very high risk of having seizures or death following the vaccination. They have to weigh the risks and decide whether it is worth taking the chance or not. The choice must be left to the individual.

I just question the safety of the preservatives mixed in with the vaccines. There does seem to be a link between autism and vaccines. Don't you worry about what else these big pharma companies are putting into the vaccines? You did hear about Bayer selling HIV infected product overseas right? They seem very untrustworthy to me.

really attracts people who are adverse to the society of others. Of course vaccinations work; some people are just paranoid from day one. The only thing we have to fear is paranoid Paul-bott fear itself.

Would you take the expected 3-shot flu vaccine series coming later this year from Baxter lab?

I'm not excited about that prospect even though I'm also a doc and work in a hospital setting. I didn't get one last year and never got sick. I do not trust Baxter, and I am very wary of the government "helping" us these days.

I think most people know that vaccines work but no one want´s to talk about when it does nto happen.
It should be up to the person who get´s the shot nontherless to make the judgement and nobody else.

If one of your children were to get sick, and you were to take your child to the hospital, and you were told, "your child is sick with smallpox (or chickenpox, or tuberculosis, or whatever), but, because you chose not to believe in immunization/vaccination programs, there is nothing we can do for you. Take your child home, and treat him/her yourself, and sit by their bedside watching him/her die."

How would you feel at that point?

Would you feel that someone (government/big pharma) should do something for your child, or would you feel that you are just paying the price of your beliefs?
