After starting a thread yesterday about Alex Jones, I have been threaten with violence and call a troll and worse. If this is what its come to here, I want no part of it. I started the thread to provoke a reaction and to get answers and boy did I get answers. Dr. Paul is a non-violent and most Jones fanatics are aggressive. Dr. Paul has said many times that he respects Gandhi and MLK for their CIVIL disobedience. I am devoted to the message of Liberty and to Dr. Paul, yeah I donated hundreds of dollars to Dr. Paul and to other candidates he endorses and will continue to donate. I stood on street corners and wave signs. I am a C4L member. Mr. Jones is not always right, sometimes he is wrong, we all are, we are humans. Maybe, I was a little harsh in my assessement of Mr. Jones but, when Mr. Jones questions someones character, he should back it up with actual facts. I'm sure this thread will be locked or deleted because questioning Mr. Jones here is not allowed here on The Daily Paul. Have a happy 4th of July!

Which is strange because I don't ever really believe in "media" personalities, Jones seems to be somewhere in between.
He's on our side. But he's not AT our side....He is more divisive than helpful, sometimes I wish he was much different but oh well right.

i'm so sick of hearing this crap. i leave for a couple of months, come back, and everyone is "keeping up with the Joneses" as it were.
look guys- this isn't rocket science here; either listen to his show, or don't. believe his work, or don't. other than that, just shut the hell up about the mess, keep it to yourself, and stop causing another pointless argument every other day. free speech is a fine thing, but to spout off about stuff simply because you can doesn't necessarily mean it is the prudent thing to do at the time.

that is not true because your thread from yesterday attacking Mr. Jones was debated and bumped all day. it had a real nasty title too "Alex Jones is one whacked-out ultra-paranoid dude". when Micheal was on vacation it might have been deleted but things seem to be back on track now. your thread is evidence of that. i don't agree with you but that's what free speech is all about. if we all agreed it would be boring and non-productive.

If the government declares martial law on the whole country and then attempts to force vaccinations on everyone you can kiss your second amendment goodbye. Gun Confiscation is part of the whole game, quit whining about gun laws and 1st and 4th amendments, they're all gone when they declare martial law, remember Katrina? This is all part of the plan and I suggest everyone wake up and think about what that will do to the freedom movement, done, game over, massive death, no guns, no revolution.

Jones & Beck
I think they both have agendas they want to keep us in the dark about..Beck more so than Jones, in MY opinion.
But I see what they are doing as a chance to get others involved...spread the real message...Not the FAUX message...
When I brought up using Becks 912 as a way to do just that...I was bashed..big time..a few threats came to my email...which I blocked the people and trashed the letters.
So Jim...dont let others get ya down..All we can do is keep on keeping on.
Freedom is another way to God...A corrupt government is a straight way to hell.
Dr.Paul's message is my concern and anyone whether it's Jones

You should call-in to the Alex Jones show the next time Dr Paul is on. I think he goes on at least once a month or so. In fact, I'll bet Dr Paul has been on Alex Jones more than any other program. And he never gets any disrespect while he's there, after he leaves, or if he can't make it for some reason.
Seriously, what's the angle here? Try to discourage Alex Jones from getting new listeners? A reverse-psych marketing move? I'm curious about this move against Alex Jones it's weird.
I'm not anti-Jones, I do not like the Beck bashing.

Double Jeopardy.
I don't like Beck either to be honest, I just don't speak about him. There isn't much proof for or against him. Beck made statements about Al Qaeda attacking which I thought was foolish, he repeats it without thinking.
But I find he's a divisive, completely self absorbed Judas Goat. I have never trusted Beck. If people want to follow them that is their choice, I just hope they never become real leaders of any part of the movement.
The only one who's earned that right, is so far Ron Paul and Rand Paul.

But like it or not, the Jones following is very diverse and you're always going to run into people of that persuasion.
I would just accept it and ignore Jones, not at all a problem. Most people do not listen to, nor follow the same exact "voices" inside a movement.

I have issues with Alex Jones at times but noone is perfect
he tends to sensationalize but much of what he has exposed is very important and factual. I find things sometimes and post them without thinking to double check and get called on it and I embarrass myself at times but that's how it goes.

for poor bedfellows. You admittedly remark that you wished to provoke and then dish out blame to respondents for the consequences. Sleep in the bed that you make. If you wanted to make the point that Jones hasn't provided hard evidence for his claim against Beck why didn't you do just that? Your message and stated intentions seem at odds here. I'm sure that your contributions, both time and money, are appreciated, I appreciate your effort, but I will say that your attitude at this moment seems to be rotten; but then again, it seems that you may have brought all that on yourself. I myself would like to see some evidence of this implication, or Jones should back off of his claims. Yet, they are his claims to defend or retract. You might want to take your question to his site directly instead of looking to "provoke" reactions with those here. We are neither able to choose nor responsible for the content of his show. That doesn't mean that I don't like him, but if he has yet to defend his statements with hard evidence, what makes you so pompus as to blame us for his inaction. This is the second time on this site I've read someone openly admit that they are deliberately trying to "provoke" reactions. And it seems that the spirit of the provocation was intended to generate anger. You complain that you recieved anger and threats in reaction to your post; maybe it's because that's the spirit and intention you posted with in the first place. Never forget, you will reap what you sow.

I am NOT defending Glenn Beck but there are many TV personalities that are damning the Liberty movement more than Beck but he appears to be the anti-christ on this board. In order for the Judas Goat scenario to work YOU must follow the goat. Negativity is not helpful and personal attacks are or should be off-limits. All I want is evidence Beck is CIA as Mr. Jones has stated.

I'd like to see evidence, but this board, much like the market should be, is fairly free. It the topics you like aren't there then you are responsible to get it going, not just complain about the competition. The "bitching" I hear is all based on people calling for someone to do something that the "bitcher" can, and by rights should do for themselves. It's akin to Liberty, we can't blame the system if we aren't using it properly.

You can't tell me Jones is doing anything unusual, that any other talk show host usually does even if it seemed unusual to you.
