Maybe someone should be digging for Obama's supposed daddy's birth certificate and naturalization papers. It would be interesting to find his mamma's passport and find out if she possibly arrived in Hawaii AFTER the date on the COLB.

BTW. To get a copy of a birth certificate, contact the state in which said person was born, usually Dept. of Vital Statistics or some such, fork over the required $$ and they will send out a copy of said birth certificate. They will do the same with marriage records and divorce decrees. That might be another thing to look at. A certain couple's marriage license.

The document is a "certification of birth". also known as a short-form birth certificate.

The long form is drawn up by the hospital and includes additional information such as birth weight and parents' hometowns.

The short form is printed by the state and draws from a database with fewer details. The Hawaii Department of Health's birth record request form does not give the option to request a photocopy of your long-form birth certificate, but their short form has enough information to be acceptable to the State Department.

Some have said that only the long form with the name of the hospital and doctor should be acceptable. Does that mean that anyone not born in a hospital (Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, John Kennedy) is not a legitimate president?

WHY would anyone think the "long form" drawn up by a clerk in the hospital is more proof of birth than the "short form" created by the state.

After all it is the STATE and not the HOSPITAL that is responsible or keeping the birth and death records.

To get a New Jersey drivers license or state ID you must produce proof that you are who you say you are. The first item of proof is a birth certificate.

According to the state:

My birth certificate is actually called "BIRTH REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE"

It shows only:

Name of child
Sex
Place of birth (City/town)
Date of birth
Name of Father
Maiden Name of Mother
Date of birth

NO hospital, NO doctor, NO footprint.

It has a raised seal, the date it was filed and the stamp of the registrar.

This is less than the information provided on the birth certificate that Pres. Obama has provided (and has been certified by the State of Hawaii). His shows time of birth, race of parents, and has a registration number.

I have used this birth certificate to enroll in grammar school, get a social security card, a driver license, register to vote, and obtain a US Passport.

Why is Pres Obama being held to a different standard?

Like it or not going after Obama because of this issue is going to get us any where, in fact if it is proven that he is not American by birth it is more likely to be used to establish legal rights for others who where not Americans at birth such as Arnold...

Whether Obama's birth certicate is accepted or not, I suspect he's getting a good laugh out of the whole thing.

....consider Bush as ever having been President since he never won an election. Not because he wasn't an American citizen. So do you believe Obama is the supreme dictator? That he does not have to prove himself worthy? So do you think anyone should be allowed to be President of the United States? Do you think rules only apply to poor people? Or only poor white people? As for Bush...his records are public record. Long ago...when he was fighting Gore in the courts...I ran across a site where someone for Gore put all the records of Bush they came across...included was the long form birth certificate....school records...including collage..and clubs he was in....businesses owned/and failed. Sorry...I cant seem to find the site anymore...I believe it was taken down

This matter should be settled PRIOR to any election and should be required to submit to the Federal Election Commission when announcing candidacy for president. And the documents submitted must be verified, and open to public scrutiny.

So, the bottom line is that the rules are only for us, the little people.

Instead of focusing on obtaining Obama's birth certificate, maybe some pressure should be put on Congress to pass a law requiring that in future presidential contests all candidates, including incumbents, be vetted by the appropriate authorities, to make sure all Constitutional requirements are met. Post Office employees are presently screened better than presidential candidates.

Congressional representatives who balk at such a bill could be accused of opposing transparancy.

Every Country issues it's own passport and every Country recognizes the "official" passport of other Countries.
You can't enter Spain with a passport issued by a convenience store right, you need an Official US passport issued by the Department of State and in order to get that passport you must have a legitimate birth certificate.
The American Kennel Club (AKC) is a non-profit organization\club and is the only world wide recognized dog registration for the United States.

In order to have AKC papers on your puppy it must be born in the United States or enter the US with papers (passport) from the correct foreign registry.

Now, being as Americans are well noted for their creativity in business we have many "Dog Registries", many of which are named very, very close to foreign legitimate registries. Creating confusion among the average dog owner.

The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) is the official dog registration for Canada and they recognize AKC and AKC recognizes them. In order to have CKC papers your puppy must have been born in Canada. You can't have a CKC dog in America but if you buy a CKC dog from Canada, AKC will recognize it and register it.

I don't mind at all that people are going thru the court system. I don't find it a distraction since I'm not spending time in court hashing it out and mainstream isn't spending any time displacing any propaganda with it.

How easy would it have been to forge a BC and have it placed in the Hawaiian birth register? I don't get it...
