Use the argument that out of 1000 people, only 10 or so are adversely effected, and this is worthwhile to eradicate everything from chicken pox to the cough. First, 10 in 1000 is 1 in 100, to put it on a more local scale. Secondly, let us also note that the vast majority of doctors (upwards of 80%) do not use the voluntary vaccine adverse reactions reporting system. Finally, the incidence of autism is rising drastically. It is now 1 in 67 children that have diagnosed with ASD.

The effect of mercury and other toxic chemical floating directly in the bloodstream of young children before they even have a functioning blood-brain barrier to filter them is utterly insane. The more vaccinations for these vulnerable youth, the more mental illness we will see. Leave vaccinating to adults beyond their developmental stages, who are free to make their own decisions, stop trying to push it on the unaware youth.

Even for the kids who do not develop autism, mercury in the developing brain is a highly destructive compound. Not to mention formaldehyde and other components. This is dumbing us and numbing us down into the grave. And for those who do develop autism, here is an estimate of their cost on society:

This left them with a less-toxic mix than they desired, and that could not be tolerated. This is too good of an opportunity to waste.
So, they set about thinking what kind of other toxins they could add in, to make up the difference.
Ahh, a biotoxin fits the bill.

A slow acting agent like squalene or mycoplasma, doesn't show its effects for years sometimes, and has been found to be very hard to trace down, as we can see from the several hundred thousand Gulf War victims of the vaccinations with squalene.
Extremely hard to place the blame.
And it's cheap, and proven deliverable in vaccinations.
