Hey all.....
Loved one just diagnoased with Lung cancer....age 39.
Don't know if chemo will do anything at all............
Was wondering if anyone here knew about any alternative cancer therapy which has showed success with lung cancer.

i've written this before on other threads.

my wife had skin cancer for a about a year before telling me.
i started her on about 10 apricot pit kernels per week.
she ate organic apples plus their seeds each day.
it was gone in less than three weeks.
another woman in our meetup group came down with ovarian cancer.
a little more fatal, i'd say.....
she ignored her doctor's requests for chemo and rad.
she took about ten pits per day and a check up by the same doctor a month later turned up negative for the illness that she had been diagnosed with just 30 days before.
some things are perhaps beyond hope...
but most of the illnesses we experience in this day in age are quite preventable and eating organic apples with their seeds is one way.

Some friends told me some weeks ago that Vitamin B17 (more accurately Amygdalin/laetrile) is very important and can indeed be found especially in Apricot kernels.
They also told me about apple seeds.
And they told me about eating garlic and broccoli.
And everything should be organic food of course !

I think I had cancer not long ago.
I had this big black thing growing on my face just to the left of my nose. It was like a large black pimple. I was beginning to grow concerned enough that I almost went to see a doctor. Something which I almost never even consider doing.
I don't know how to put this other thing delicately, so I'll just say it: I had blood coming out of my penis during ejaculation. Lots of it. This made me REALLY concerned. That is definitely not normal and I really started thinking I had both skin and prostate cancer.
Anyway, I was starting to become downright scared. Then I remembered the apricot kernels that I had bought about a year before. I had stopped using them for no real reason. Probably just laziness. I decided to try them for a while before finally breaking down and going to see a doctor. I started eating three in the morning and three in the evening. Now, after about six weeks, the black thing on my face is just a tiny red spot and the other problem has cleared up completely.
I don't know if either ailment really was cancer or not. All I know is that they got better after using apricot kernels. I will continue to eat them religiously. After what happened (the thing with the blood was quite traumatic), probably for the rest of my life.
Sorry if the description of my symptoms offended anyone.

I used to grind them up with a coffee grinder and mix them with oatmeal in the morning and with peanut butter after dinner in the evening. But now I'm so used to the taste that I just eat them like I would almonds.

From what I understand, conventional treatments are questionable
After my grandmother died of cancer back in the 1960's I have always been interested in the subject, I suppose originally out of fear. Over the years I have read numerous books on alternative cancer treatments and theories about the nature of the disease.
I also was back in the 1980's acquainted with an old man who was trained as a Chiropractor and Herbologist who treated people for cancer with nutritional supplements, herbs, and diet with some degree of success, especially considering that people did not come to him until after conventional treatments failed and they were desperate.
My own conclusion is that conventional medicine should be avoided.
A diet that produces slightly alkaline blood pH seems to be important. This is a diet high in fruits and vegetables, either raw or very lightly cooked. Things that should be avoided are refined products, processed foods, dairy products, and all but a little meat for protein. Some people call this a macrobiotic diet. There is one theory that most of our disease is a result of a diet that produces an acid pH, which just like a plant in soil with an improper pH can kill the plant. I understand that there is one Italian physician that claims to get good results with a two week course of 1 teaspoon daily of baking soda orally (like you buy for cooking), depending on the location of the tumors, plus injections of baking soda solution (sodium bicarbonate) into the tumor sight as a means of changing blood pH to alkaline from an unhealthy acid state.
Large doses of vitamins seem to be beneficial. Vitamins B15 and B17 (laetril) are particularly important as is the enzyme pancreatic acid. Pancreatin is the most alkaline substance your body produces, and a deficiency fits right in with both the trophoblast theory and the overly acid blood pH theory as the cause of cancer.

If the trophoblast theory that cancer is your own uncontrolled cell growth is correct, then you should get a positive reading on a home pregnancy test since you would be throwing off the same chemicals as a pregnant woman.
If you are able to get your body to bring the growth of cancer cells under control, they die and this can put your body in great danger from a large number of these dead cells needing to be eliminated at once, so detoxification procedures might be needed. (The reason that people get so sick from chemotherapy and radiation is the large number of cancer cells, and otherwise healthy cells that are killed at once and the effect this has on your body's elimination system.) The most common detox method is the coffee enema, but also is getting extra oxygen into your system through deep breathing, preferably from exercise. Sweating in a sauna is also good.
Just some random thoughts, but there are countless books around, some at health food stores which have good information. There are people around who provide these types of treatments.
By the way, about two years ago my son-in-law's father (age 69) died of lung cancer after having gone through radiation and chemotherapy twice, and he would not consider any of the above information. Unfortunately his wife was a RN and they bought the conventional treatments, hook, line and sinker. It was a terrible loss to our mutual grandchildren as well as the rest of his family.
I personally know only one person who tried alternative treatments. She was alive 10 years later when I moved and lost contact with her. I don't know of anyone who took the conventional treatments who didn't finally die of cancer, although most of them were pronounced cancer free after the initial treatments.

My friend who is even younger than your loved one was diagnosed with cancer (sarcoma) last year. She did get some surgery, but she refused chemo and immediately stopped eating meat and dairy and went on a nutritional program when she was dianosed. She now has clear scans. In the course of my research I have spoken to other cancer survivors who have had great success with nutritional therapy and B17.

about 7 years ago i researched alternative cancer therapies big time. I would go over my aunts house who is a nurse and her husband is a physicians assistant and announce 'i found a new cur_ for cancer' everytime i visited them. they are very close minded know it all types. I dont mean they were cure alls but they were at least anti-cancer methods. About 2 years after that my grandfather got non-small cell cancer and refused to do anything even though he believed some of these alternative methods were being suppressed. I met a guy who claimed he worked with royal raymond rife, his name was 'dr.barta'. I thought the odds were really slim for that to have been the case so I called someone who i know did work with rife and asked him if he knew barta, which he said he did. needless to say i spent alot of time as bartas house. a smart man but one i still dont trust. i always wanted to ask him if he abandoned rife like so many others did but i never had the heart. One thing he did say, which sounded like a wild claim was that arterioscerosis was caused by tooth plaque! that was one of many wild claims. but when i went to the dentist i saw a handout that said 'it is thought to ' or it 'does' cause arteriosclerosis. That seems to be suppressed information. the public should know much more about it. so i do believe cancer treatments can and are being suppressed. I wish i had a good why that is happening. dr day in 'new order of the barbarians' says its to diminsh the population but i would think it would be a 'drop in the bucket'. attrition seems to be the way to go. birth control, abortion has killed well over 2 billion with a 'b', sex education, promiscuity, promoting sodomites etc all tends to stop the so-called problem of over population before it starts.

If my memory serves me, Dr. Meinig talked about bacteria growing in the infected pockets where root canals have been done. He says that one theory is that the bacteria can migrate into the bloodstream and cause all sorts of damage. I thought I read something about dental plaque that comes off during dental cleaning but I'm not sure.

Google it. If you saw the movie, "Medicine Man," the "wonder drug" for which Sean Connery was searching in the Amazon Rain Forest is Graviola. My wife used it after finding a suspicious lump in her breast (she's had one mastectomy). By the time she went in for a biopsy, the lump had disappeared. I've heard good things about carrot juice fasting with ginger. Some people say that some food grade hydrogen peroxide 35% add to water and soak in it, then rinse off. Please look up the Hydrogen Peroxide as I'm not sure what the diluting ratios are. Some people also say to eat habanero pepper daily as well. It's one of the hottest peppers out there. Ginger, Habanero, Garlic on a daily basis are heralded to help tumors from the searching i've done on the web. Eliminate all processed, sugar, fried and cleaning/bathing products with unnatural ingredients. some people have also said going to a sauna on a regular basis, helps sweat out toxins. Some spas have the infrared heat saunas, which are supposed to be more comfortable than the old steam ones.
These are from various sources I've found on the web, To be honest it's all food and all natural, I'm just not sure about the details on the hydrogen peroxide therapy, please look it up before using.

He used to be located in Dallas, but I heard he had to move to Mexico. One of my relatives used him for stage 4 colon cancer, but he did the treatment at home instead of going to Tunsky's clinic. If he had it to do over again, he would have gone to the clinic. The treatment worked great, it just worked so fast that the amount of dead cancer was so great that the liver couldn't process if fast enough, so it clogged up my relative's liver, and he died of liver failure. At the clinic, he could have had his blood cleaned by a machine as he went along, to assist his liver.
Right at the end of his life, he had tests done to see if he still had cancer, and two separate Drs in another state, who were not connected with Gary Tunsky, pronounced him completely cancer free, so we know the treatment did work.

I have read a lot about Apricot seeds and was just reading on the Graviola tree. I would look into them both and look into changing their diet. I have read from multiple sources that cancer needs sugar to grow. So Your loved one might want to change their diet and to look into graviola & apricot seeds. I wouldn't skip the doctor but what would it hurt to take all of the alternatives.

I am so sorry to hear of your loved one's illness.
By comparing the above info you can make a more informed decision when choosing a doctor and a type of treatment program.
I am going to share my personal experience as I think it may help:
I lost my 65 yr old "active" Mother to Lung cancer 7 years ago ( it got aggressive when it hit her liver-she was diagnosed Mother's Day and died June 14th) She received one dose of chemo and it made her so sick that she refused to take anymore. She measured the quality of life against the extended few months of suffering through chemo...and decided it wasn't worth it. She went home to her maker without any more chemo..just pain killers. I wish I had known about alternative medicine at that time.
Hospice was wonderful in making her comfortable. Her unbearable pain (cancer went to her bones) came just a few hours before she passed on. Other than that she was tired, weak and could not eat very much. She said the pain wasn't bad..nothing the pain meds couldn't take care of.
I have a cousin who is alive and in remission, she took chemo for breast cancer. She said she would never go through the chemo treatments again.
My Father (79yrs old) is fighting his second bout of colon cancer.(2 surgeries) As more of a preventative feature his doctor attached a chemo pack to his body, whereas the chemo enters his system in designated time periods (while in the comfort of his own home). He got too sick from it, now he is taking chemo pills 1 week off one week on. Now he gets nauseus a couple hours after eating. Other than that he lives independently on the family farm, drives, plays cards,cuts the lawn, etc.
I am convinced that preventative/alternative healthcare is best.
But once the actual cancer is there I'm not sure what I would do. That is a very personal decision that only the patient can make. The problem with today's healthcare is that they don't tell you the alternatives and give you real, informed choices. I hope this helps...my intentions were to empower you with info so that your loved one can make an informed decision and take control of their own healthcare.

Sometimes the problem is that alternative health is the last resort instead of the first...so the success stories aren't always there.
Cancer treatment Centers of America seems to combine both.
There is a well known alternative medical center in Mexico (south of SanDiego/oceanside ) Sounds wonderful. I don't recall the name.
They will pick you up at the San Diego airport. I do know that they are so "clean" that you aren't allowed to bring your own clothes and shoes into the medical center.

Find an alternative
Find an alternative healthcare physician who has had success with cancer. Not with "treating cancer" though, because the FDA has not approved any alternative therapies "for the treatment of cancer".
You have to find a doctor whose patients happened to have cancer, and then happened to not have cancer after going to that doctor.
As for my specific advice to get started in the right direction:
Begin a diet of WHOLE RAW ORGANIC produce, ideally from a local farmer's market.
Stop eating refined, processed foods, including those "foods" containing white sugar, white flour, high fructose corn syrup, and excessive meats, and everything else that you know is not good for you. These foods actually do cause cancer.
Please consider
NOT doing Chemo, very bad stuff-- I just read somewhere [no link] that 70% of doctors would not even take it!
Read about the cancer diet and Apricot kernals. Start eating only organic, stay away from meats, ginger is good for the lungs.

I met him once and his story is incredibly inspiring. There is no magic, no herb or supplement that alone will do it. There is only you and your willingness to survive. I'm so glad the people here know so much about health.
I've had lupus most of my life, and without alternative care, I know I would have been dead years ago. In fact, they denied I was sick for sixteen years, then finally ran a test for lupus, and then almost killed me with drugs. I am not joking.
I have not taken a prescription drug in 19 years. I had to learn how to eat right. No caffeine, no white sugar, no white flour, no msg and as few preservatives as possible. Detox, detox, detox. Activated charcoal helps with that too.
I love herbs! My favorites are uva ursi and hawthorn berries, but I take othesr things too.
There are some interesting videos on google video about mycoplasma causing cancer and aids and all sorts of things, including lupus and ms. Really interesting. They think it's being given to us in vaccines. That would make sense concerning the gulf war soldiers. Curezone had a post the other day that said the herb uva ursi destroys the mycoplasma, so no wonder if helps me. I was taking it for my kidneys anyway, and knew it really helped me.
I am going to try the baking soda (aluminum free) and maple syrup and also the coral calcium.
Juicing organic carrrots, beets and fresh turnip greens is also very healing.

There has never been any double blind studies
to show the efficacy of chemo therapy. In fact chemo therapy has been dis proven to work in most cancers with some success in testicular cancer.
Most people that try alternative therapy do so after the orthodox treatments failed. And they fail all the time.
