"Germ Theory" a Hoax! - Pasteur was just a big Pharma shill!
[Sarcasm Alert]
Have you ever actually seen a germ? Of course not. They don't exist. The drug companies just made them up so they could inject us all with vaccines that would make our kids autistic.
Of course it was quite a trick, recruiting Louis Pasteur. The drug companies had to use a time machine because they didn't exist when he was alive.
Fortunately there was one available at Area 51 after the Roswell crash.
And you know that arrogant doctor that wants to vaccinate your kids? He's in on the plot.
Just thought you should know.
[End of Sarcasm]
OK, I was more than a little disappointed last night to come onto DP and see almost half of the active forum topics concerning issues that I would consider, at best, tangential to "restoring Constitutional government to the United States of America".
To make matters worse, most of them were concerning health care or related subjects; the evils of vaccination, pharmaceuticals, Gullian-Barre syndrome, avian flu conspiracy, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I don't consider health issues unimportant; I've dedicated my whole professional career to health care.
And it doesn't even bother me that almost all of these posts display a complete contempt for traditional medicine, physicians, and/or scientific rigor. Being a doctor isn't a popularity contest, and sometimes we MUST tell people what they don't want to hear.
Its part of the job.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion (no matter how unwise or ill-informed), and people WILL and SHOULD make decisions about their own bodies and what kind of health care they will accept. And anyone should have the right to express themselves and state their support for ANY position, no matter how absurd or irrelevant to the liberty movement.
I don't advise my patients to smoke cigarettes, but I would defend their right to do so.
What DOES bother me is that these posts reflect poorly on Ron Paul and most of his supporters who DO place the image and success of the Campaign for Liberty ahead of our own pet theories and causes.
They also DO tend to crowd out discussion of topics that ARE germane, COULD be topics that Ron Paul might actually give a speech on, and would be educational for all of us.
Maybe some of us have become bored discussing things like monetary policy, taking back the Congress, and finding ways of educating and recruiting our fellow Americans to the cause of liberty.
I am sure there are many websites devoted to promoting alternative healthcare and discussing the evils of vaccination. I am equally sure that there are forums dedicated to these topics where people can discuss these things to their heart's content.
Unfortunately there are far too few websites devoted to Ron Paul and his beliefs; and I would humbly ask that we consider that before we continue to dilute and distort his (and our!) image any further.

Hey lets bump this..
And see if we can completely crowd out anything but paranoid health-related topics!

SOME TRUTH IS SHINING THROUGH...
Its nice to see a new
Its nice to see a new subject on the dailypaul. Pasteur was a plagarist and practically a drop out. He stole the work of antoine bechamp and changed it. Pasteurs theory was wrong. Bechamp was the Royal Raymond Rife of his time(either during the 1500's or 1600's!), without peer. The guy was making microscopes better in some degree than those we have today. I just ordered 3 books from abe.com on him. one is called pasteur vs bechamp. basically bechamp found what has been called a somatid (different discoverers name the same thing differently). It is the most basic building block of life, more basic than the cell, according to him that is. After reading about it i dont doubt it. anyway the somatid changes shape from say a rod bacteria to a flagella bacteria to on and on. ABSOLUTE HEARESY to the high priests of medicine. but if you know where to look on youtube you can watch this somatid change for yourself. Not taught in any modern medical textbook that I aware of. That in my opinion has been suppressed possibly to the point of having the discoverers murdered. A less controversial claim is doctors chemists etc dont understand how fermentation works. He showed how. I buy that and a whole lot of other heresies as well.
I THANK God
that Gardasil was NOT in production when I, as a parent who naively trusted her pediatrition, was dutifully having her daughter vaccinated so she could go to school.
And I PRAY to God that karma will SOON come around and bite Big Pharma on it's tail.

It is good and proper to respect the U.S. flag, perpetuated with the blood of American heroes. It is a fatal mistake not to recognize those who wrap themselves in the same flag to cover up their crimes against the American people.

Vaccination should NEVER be mandatory!
And I agree that this is a valid concern of the liberty movement.
But that is true for ANY medical treatment, drug or procedure; regardless of its safety or effectiveness!
We SHOULD be discussing how we can maintain and/or restore health freedom in America.
We should not be debating the safety or efficacy of specific medical practices on this website.
Such debates, especially when the "debate" amounts to hysterical fear-mongering and paranoid conspiracy theories, only blurs, pollutes, and dilutes what we all CAN agree on.

Most
of the posts you're referring to died out quickly, and if you didn't want this discussed, why did you start two new threads?
This sarcastic thread brought to you by...
...a physician who mocks the dead and injured victims of vaccines.
Dr. Spacehabitats was a bit irritated last night on the "Anti-vaccination Madness" thread when he saw in the active topic section threads that contained information about deaths and injuries taking place from various vaccines, such as Gardasil and the vaccine trial criminally used on homeless in Poland.
http://www.dailypaul.com/...
In his annoyance, he decided to post a couple of sarcastic, mocking threads. One was this thread and the other:
'Brazillian Batboy Discovered - Mother Was Injected with Gardisil!'
http://www.dailypaul.com/...
He said this was an example of the kind of titles that were flooding the DailyPaul and that he thought he would "help".
Not sure why he thought his mocking thread was an example of the other titles, when they were legitimate informational posts.
This was the Gardisil thread that was up that annoyed him:
'Gardasil Death & Brain Damage: A National Tragedy'
http://www.dailypaul.com/...
I asked Dr. Spacehabitats, "What kind of physician are you, spacehabitats, that you would mock like this? There have been deaths and injuries associated with this vaccine and you mock because you don't care to see vaccine topics on this forum?"
He has yet to respond to that, so I will ask him again here on this other sarcastic, mocking thread:
Spacehabitats, what kind of physician are you that you would mock the victims of vaccines...and those who grieve them?
You complain about "silly" conspiracy theories, yet you post your mocking threads in response to serious informational posts.
Why?
Are you maybe a tad defensive about posts that might reflect badly on vaccines because of your own involvement in helping to produce vaccines?
http://www.dailypaul.com/...
Spacehabitats, I remember your thread "Ten Reasons I Would NOT Invite A Friend To DailyPaul"
In light of that thread and your shameful mockery of victims of vaccines with your recent threads, I offer this list:
"Ten Reasons I Would NOT Refer A Friend To Dr. Spacehabitats"
(In no particular order.)
1. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
2. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
3. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
4. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
5. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
6. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
7. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
8. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
9. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
10. Spacehabitats mocks victims of vaccines.
Spacehabitats, you are so concerned about the image of Ron Paul and the DailyPaul being degraded, so I ask another question of you:
How do you think your insensitive, mocking posts reflect on the DailyPaul?

On his deathbed
Pasteur recanted the germ theory, saying the Terrain is everything, the Germ is nothing: http://www.mnwelldir.org/... But because the theory is so simple and profitable, it lives on to this day.
Thanks...
for finally seeing the light and understanding the potential harm offered by poisoned vaccinations and the profit drive of big pharma and the AMA.

spacehabits Here's a quote from Louis Pasteur...
"The pathogen is nothing. The terrain is everything"
http://www.honesthuman.co...
The most pioneering areas of science are now showing us that Germ Theory is irrelevant and based upon faulty assumptions. But Pasteur knew this in his own lifetime. On his deathbed in 1895 he said:
The pathogen is nothing. The terrain is everything.
( terrain=your body, keep it healthy and you are reasonably invincible)
So the theory underpinning our entire medical model was denounced by its founder before he died. But his denouncement came too late to stop the medical-industrial complex, which was taking shape at just that time. These moneyed interests, essentially a cartel, formed the American Medical Association to destroy the homeopathic medical profession, which was and is dedicated to just the terrain of which Pasteur spoke.

There is no such thing as a "Homeopathic medical profession".
Homeopaths fall into two categories: outright frauds, and self-deluded idiots.
Google for James Randi's talk on Homeopathy, watch and learn.

Its a brutal approach to "healthcare".
Let's look at the original vaccine story that I learned in school.
In that story, a doctor deliberately infects a unknowing patient with a disease (cow pox) so that she doesn't get a worse disease (smallpox).
Now the reality is quite different. My girlfriend (who has a giant blind-spot where her health is concerned) got a flu shot a few years ago and complained that it actually *gave* her flu-like symptoms.
My humble suggestion to her: "Don't get any more flu shots."
The Doctor sent her a letter advising her to get a booster shot. Like a good sheep, she went and got the shot. No flu symptoms this time so it must have worked right? *eye roll*
I just feel for the soldiers with "Gulf War Syndrome" (not the same as PTSD) and the parents of kids with Autism.
"I believe the true significance of the Gold Commission is that the politicians and central bankers were so alarmed at such a thing that they made sure it was packed by an array of Keynesians and monetarists." (Ron Paul 1985)

Germ Theory
Is just that, "A THEORY", and Not a LAW.
Germ Theory vs. Law of Gravity
See the difference.
If it were correct, We'd all be Dead.
Just a thought.
i am curious
Fortune Favors the Bold
why do you think we'd all be dead if germ theory is correct?
It is a theory because it is not absolute
Germ theory states that most diseases are caused from germs. It is impossible to prove every disease is from germs, and we know it is not true.
A law is absolute it happens the same way every time. There are very very very very few laws in nature less in biology.
Guess again.
Germ theory states that most diseases are caused from germs.
Nope. Germ theory says nothing at all about how many diseases are caused by pathogens. Some are (like tuberculosis), and some aren't (like diabetes.)

also
Fortune Favors the Bold
You can approach certainty, but never really arrive there, since a single verifiable counter-example (not caused by other factors) forces you to re-evaluate established theories.
That said, things that are at the bottom of a knowledge chain can be considered laws without too much concern since they have been verified so thoroughly.
People have religious views
making fun of them will not help change their minds
funny you mention it
Louis Pasteur, the "father of modern medicine," and originator of the Germ Theory of disease changed his mind before his death.
He ended up saying that it wasn't the germ, but the conditions within the body.
Guess they didn't time travel far enough.
Very poor attempt
of trying to be sarcastic. It certainly is not funny.
