And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”
I'm not going to speculate on the use of these bridges ..I will say the construction looks similar to a BAILLY PANEL bridge that the military uses for temp constuctions...The holes are probably to put polls through to carry into place ...No pictures were provided from under the bridge so the height may be needed for strength, ??? Who knows ?
*They have to do it LEGALLY
Good people make the difference, you-no
I heard they will have the largest concentration camp of all in Alaska at the end of that crazy bridge they were building to nowhere. If you recall. it was a very large and expensive bridge to an island with no one there. There was a lot of criticism and joking about the cost and waste and stupidity of building it. Perhaps it is going somewhere after all.
I heard this FEMA camp would hold several million people, most supposedly mentally ill.
I don't recall where I heard that, it was a few years ago.
in less they are doing that to all the bridges, then i'd say they're just making them so nobody falls off into the bed of water you guys have going down there.
At 0:44 you see boltholes on the uniformly built section pieces, at 2:14 you see the bolts that fix the sections together.
Now, if you designed the sections, would you design them all the same or would you spend extra time, money and resources to design an end section with no boltholes?
And as a customer (using public money), would you pay the extra to have end sections specially designed?
Hmmm!

Seward, Moose Pass and residents beyond have a chance to comment on the Trail River bridge repair project through June 24.
The proposed project includes construction of a detour corridor and temporary bridge between milepost 25 and 26 of the Seward Highway.
The fill will include embankment fill and approximately 36 piles.
Once a permanent bridge is constructed portions of the temporary bridge and all detour pilings will be removed.
Deadline for written comments is 5 p.m. June 24.

This is from the towns local newspaper. People need to be a little careful when posting fear mongering
Why they would go through all that trouble ti block a bridge. Parking a truck on it would be easier and harder for the locals to remove. Of course they could always just blow up.
I was also wondering why the US government is preparing for civil unrest in Seward Alaska?
People need to be a little careful when posting fear mongering.

I think you meant 2:14
