Creepy America Celebrates Creep

The celebration of the life of Michael Jackson goes on and on. He admittedly slept with children. A grown man sharing a bed with children, what more needs to be known about him?
And yet the dominant culture in America can't seem to get enough of him. What does that say about them? The rest of us sit back and watch not daring to protest, what does that say about us?
When people around the world speak of the decadence of America, how can we disagree? The America of my youth died.
I agree with you completely.
The Old Media are not America, but they pretend to be her voice. I was just this weekend saying that the America of my youth is now dead. I do not even recognize this as the country I grew up in. I do not say Jackson was guilty of anything, but it's clear he was a tragic figure and a twisted individual. His life hardly seems like anything to celebrate to me.

I am an American and I feel it is my duty to denounce and ignore the media that attempts to portray me as someone who actually cares about what they report on.

Many people called and emailed
all of the msm trying to get something other than news on MJ. I was sick of it within one hour. So I defended myself by just not watching the msm for a few days..not surprised when going back that the MJ coverage was still in full swing. The msm sez that millions are interested in MJ and therefore would continue the coverage...but since there were no choices offered I think they simply had a captive audience.

The way the media handles these events. They completely ignore issues that are of vital importance to Americans, but when it comes to celebrities no detail is too small for us to know about . In the case of Michael Jackson, we can expect a media circus of unparalleled scale. All conveniently designed to distract people's attention from the fact that the country is falling apart.

It doesn`t suprise me that our country is in the distraught condition that currently effects us. Between the government schools and the MSM this is what we should expect.

It was purely out of love and comfort while babysitting or when a child stayed overnight and did not want to sleep alone. Could it be true that MJ just wanted to be a child and loved being around children? You don't know do you? maybe you can't sleep with a child and it not be sexual. That is your issue. YOU think he was. Chidren get sick or hurt and sometimes you need to be right there. Should a single father not do the same? You can't even consider a conspiracy by others to proffit by these accusations? his actions would be judged by many but in his mind and heart are where the true answers lie and there was no other truth proven. He was different. That is to be expected with the life he lived. Many big celebs definately have sexual relationships with very young girls. Who usually gets a pass? Who usually gets blamed? "she knew what she was doing" I will drop this now because I also am now contributing to an unnessecary hyped up issue that the point that is trying to be made is contrary to itself.
There is nothing sick about me. Sleeping with someone does NOT automatically mean sex. Look the 2 words up in th dictionary. Was MJ normal? Are we normaL? What is normal?
Example of me, oh and my husband sleeping with a child. We kept a little girl for the weekend. She would not sleep in the spare bedroom. Tried to get her to sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor beside the bed.
She would not go to sleep until we let her in our bed with us.
Is that sick to you? Should we have just let her cry 2 nights in a row?
She actually complained to her mother that I tried to make her sleep alone.
