when credible, prominent people come forward to question the official "lies" of 9/11, they are also attacked...

I find it interesting that there are so many people on this site
who have NO use for the military, don't believe a word coming from the military ... they are all just a bunch of scumbags ... etc.
Then, along comes an ex-military guy (who retired 25 YEARS AGO) who says what these people want to hear, and they are all over his comments like flies on a cow pie!
BTW, the comments by the "experts", about military security clearances (e.g. "letting his security clearance lapse"), are being made by people who have no idea what they are talking about.

I am sure there is an exception or two, but I have not seen what you are suggesting.
I don't respect the corporation known as "MILITARY INC."
I respect just fine, INDIVIDUALS in the military and retired who share the same sort of ideals and belief in freedom.
Most voters for Ron Paul last time were in fact military veterans.
The Military is not so foolish that it believes it is serving a just cause everywhere, they just do it since they belong to MILITARY INC. and in their "ALL CAPS" defense of it....they do it pretty much because it's required and its their job.
Again - I do not have any respect for MILITARY INC. which is part of the BANKING COMPLEX INC but, the disclaimer is substantial....As we do respect any veterans in the military as individuals especially the many that are on our side.
But I would NEVER respect a CORPORATION designed to serve the interests of the few cowardly suabs, who run the world with toys in the Industrial Banking Complex....That respect shall never come.

People grab onto what they want to hear that might strengthen their case. This is true in all instances.
9/11 is one of the most difficult psychological issues Americans have had to deal with since the Kennedy assassination.
We also want to find corroborating evidence of our own beliefs wherever it might come from, and even better when it comes from someone that has stature in our society. Such is life.
It's best to just investigate the evidence yourself and come to your own conclusions. My investigation concludes, without a shadow of a doubt, that 9/11 was an inside job.

I feel that no-one on either side of the controversy really knows exactly everything about what happened, and how it happened, on that sunny Tuesday New York morning.
A new investigation would be more than welcome, but, human nature being what it is, neither side would ever completely accept the results, whatever they might be.

It's not about WHAT Stubblebine said.
It's about the people who are willing to believe what he said, even though the same people will not believe anything else that comes from a military source.
They are hearing what they WANT to hear, and, to them, that makes it "credible" information.

that a plane not hitting the Pentagon has been proven correct by a three year independent investigation into the event.
There was in fact a plane on the scene, however, which flew just above treetop level over Arlington.
All witnesses who were in a position to judge independently and unanimously place the plane over the Navy Annex and NORTH of the former Citgo gas station.
A plane on this flight path cannot hit the downed light poles nor cause the dubious directional damage to the building. . It can only fly over the building, and in fact it was seen flying away seconds after the explosion by Officer Roosevelt Roberts Jr. and others according to testimony for the Library of Congress.
Watch the video National Security Alert to see the amazing firsthand, video recorded testimony proving this, most of which was filmed on location in the exact spots from which they each saw the plane on 9/11.

What you imply with your question takes you beyond simply asking about the qualifications the OP listed.
If, as you say, truth is timeless and facts are true regardless of who is speaking them, the fact that this happened in 2001 and that he is retired and his security clearances have expired have no bearing on his expertise or the things he said about the lack of wing marks or any of the other points he made.
Regardless of the qualifications the OP listed, if you believe your "truth is timeless" statement, then it is pointless for you to question this man's expertise, and consequently what he is saying, based on what you did.

Yes AMC, that's what I've been trying to tell you.
This retired major general really did not have to have the qualifications and credentials he has to be able to take the position of pointing out such glaring problems as the lack of wing marks on the building, among other things.
Him being the important person he is speaking out against what we have been led to believe by the government and media are what make this story newsworthy.
Hopefully this will cause people to look further into the matter, which would be the opposite of encouraging sheep syndrome.

said there was no wing marks, there would be no news. But because of this guys history it becomes relevant. So if it is his history that makes his opinion relevant than his history should be examined.
As you recall I asked a plain and simple question about it. It is interesting that I have to defend my very simple and innocent question with more ferocity than some one who comes along and with a unsourced story about about a secret truth.

Would you fly with an airline who hired pilots that have not flow in 30 years and had licenses that expired 20 years ago. Would you want to know if that was the case? Would you want to know why they could not find someone who has a current license or at least recent flight experience.

This gentleman was not flying a plane. He was pointing out discrepancies that really don't even require the credentials he has to be able to see.
What makes this story newsworthy is who he is and the fact that he is speaking out against what we have been led to believe by the government and media.

Especially if they were any kind of government person. It's a problem, but in this case it certainly doesn't require an expert in anything to see there were no wing marks on the pentagon.
A few months ago, the president of a small chapter of the national architects association or something like that came out and joined the movement; headline "President of National Architects Association Joins 9-11 truth." It happens. Don't blame the person who joined the movement, blame the writer for not being fully honest.

The picture offers evidence of nothing. A 757 filled with fuel flying at 300 miles/hour into a brick building penetrating 5 layers deep is not going to leave enough evidence to satisfy every skeptic.
