PASSING a law is one thing - ENFORCING that law is a whole different proposition!

As we watch the Federal Government pass law after law that incrementally takes away our freedoms, it is worth noting that passing a law is one thing - however, enforcing is a whole different proposition!

For instance, there is now a lot of buzz about the Fed requiring people to list their firearms on their Federal Income tax returns. That is well and good but! - how are they going to enforce it???

As DC tries to assume more power and more power, there is an equal resistance by the people as can be seen in the growing state soverignty movement. Let the bearacrats continue in their la la land if they like. As they try to lead us down the yellow brick road of foolishness, one day they will look back and see - no one is following or obey their rediculous laws!

More important is making

More important is making sure the law applies to you!!

Our government is fantastic at allowing Americans to indict themselves, by hiding the definitions of the laws.

Short Read:
http://www.originalintent...

If a law was written that says "individuals may no longer register any weapon in the United States" then we would have to know, and the law would include, the definitions of:
Individual, may, register, weapon, United States.
This law might mean that no one has to register their weapons, it may mean that you cant register a weapon if you are in a federal zone, it may mean that an "individual" is an incarcerated felon...all of which would be constitutionally legal laws.

believe it or not, our govt. knows that it cannot violate the constitution, so it doesnt!! I said it! I believe that our government does not pass unconstitutional laws (with minor exceptions), it is instead the understanding of the law by the citizen, and the application of the laws by officers.

Then why is Irwin Schiff in prison?

Indeed.

For most laws there is a "tipping point" of non-compliance. A small number of rebellions won't upset the apple cart, but when the proportion of enforcement cases reaches a critical level, the law might as well not exist.

Cannabis is still *technically* illegal in Britain. However, the law is flouted so widely and the enforcement is so lax that the law might as well not exist.

Arrests and prosecutions are still made - just not enough to make people compliant.

Agree

Passing laws and keeping laws on the books that can not be enforced leads to the decay and disrespect for authority. Do they really have enough man power to enforce these riduclous laws?

The Federal Reserve is a perfect example of how their rampant corruption has led to this back lash for them to be audited. Once people get use to the idea of freedom, they aren't going to give it up with out a fight - thus the RP movment being a perfect and self-evident example!!

Definitely.

As economic conditions worsen, the fear of questioning authority will vanish. It will rapidly become a habit.

The European bankers look at the world

as one big serfdom and plantation. I have an idea they underestimated how quickly people would adjust to and thrive in a republic.

Even the NWO people are subject to mistakes and lapses in judgement. Pushing their agenda to fast may be their great undoing.
