Fed is warning again that an audit will disrupt the markets.....so what is it that they don't want us to see? If their books were clean, why would an audit disrupt the markets?

If that is the case,
If that is the case, shouldn't there already be disruption in the markets? Right now, we don't know the specifics of the information that would be released in an audit, but we are told that if we knew we might panic. I think that that in and of itself should at least be cause for concern and perhaps alarm.
